  • "I was very disappointed in the food at Jump. I ordered a salad with salmon and it came out as a salad with chicken. I said it was fine but they insisted on making the salmon so my guests were eating without me while I waited for my meal to be prepared. They brought it after about 10 minutes and I ate half and then noticed a hair in the food. Both the waiter and manager were apologetic and made another order for me as takeout (since my guests had finished eating). When I got back to my office, I noticed there was also a hair in that salad. I contacted the manager and he was apologetic and very nice but I am not impressed."

  • "took client. food was served quickly _ had the blacked catfish - it was spicy - very good"

  • "Soup was tepid and included julienned carrots which were hard to eat. Main course contained too much meat and too little sides (bed of couscous/ rice was more like a mat than a bed). Dessert was good."

  • "Jump never disappoints. The service and the menu are always exceptional."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner very much. The server was excellent! The music could have been turned down..a bit obtrusive and not suitable for dining..too raucous..."

  • "- Waiter and Waitress were nice, friendly and funny - The soup was not hot enough, but the main dish (ravioli) was tasty, especially the tomato sauce was not too sour. The trifle was excellent. - Restaurant with a high ceiling and glass roof top"

  • "my niece & i went for summerlicious. we had a wonderful time, dining outside on the patio, on a beautiful summer evening. the staff were fantastic. the GM noticed that my niece did not finish her carrot soup (perhaps the flavours were too bold for her younger palate) so he brought her a salad instead. i thought that was a nice touch. very impressed! i would absolutely return!"

  • "Was there for a summerlicious lunch, which took an hour and a half... didnt get our drinks untill 20 minutes after order placed... and dinner around 40 minutes later. Our waiter was very slow."

  • "The food and service has always been fantantic but the service was lacking this time. Our waiter seemed confused, overwhelmed. One person in our group had to leave due to an emergency but the server didn't seem to realize the urgency. The person had to ask for the bill 3 times and it still took a while. The server did not ask us if we wanted coffee/tea or anything else with our desserts. This part was disappointing especially since the gratuity was already included in our bill."

  • "There was a group of 4 of us and we all found the service at Jump somewhat lacking. Initial service was very slow and subsequently with the various courses of the meal and finally with the bill at the end. The restaurant was busy but not full. The Summerlicious menu was interesting but again lacking in some variety. The food was quite good but not great. I would go back to Jump but not quickly."

  • "We had reservations for 12pm, got seated on time however, our server did not come around until we had to ask for one, which was about 20 mins after being seat. Typically working in the financial district, lunch breaks are an hour long. We did not get our appetizers until 12:45 and our dessert came out at 1:45. When my friend ask to take her meal and dessert to go because she had a 1:30 meeting, the response we got from our server was that we should have planned lunch approriately. I've gone to 4 other restaurants for summerlicious and have had no problem with time. I really did not apprecaite how he was finding whatever excuses he could to justify the wait instead of apologizing. by far the worst service I have experienced"

  • "Wonderful! But one thing I wasn't informed by the dress code. I carried my backpack which was bit embarrassing. I went straight to school afterwards. The lunch was great!"

  • "Haven't had my expectations exceeded in a very long time-also was during summerlicious which can get quite chaotic. We had two servers attend to us, the one with reddish hair was very attentive and knowledgeable and the one with dark hair was equally as great. Staff was all welcoming and friendly and the food was impressive. I had a carrot soup for an app and it was outstanding! Truly memorable. Always impressed when dining or drinking at an o and b location. Exceptional. Highly recommend."

  • "I have been to Winterlicious and Summerlicious at other Oliver & Bonacini restaurants. This is my first time visit Jump. I had great experience at other ones but not Jump. The food they served were pre-cooked long time ago, they just heated them up when serving. Taste was average, the look of the plate was ordinary and the hostess was inexperienced. She was not able to tell us where to wait and where is our tablet. We had to find our own spot while waiting. Overall, I wouldn't consider Jump is a up-scale restaurant. Maybe this is place can be a backup plan if other restaurants are too busy."

  • "Had a good time at Jump when I went with a friend. Tried the Summerlicious menu, the food was good, apps were a little boring/plain, but the mains and dessert was much better. Would definitely try it again as I am a big fan of the O&B restaurants; but it will be pricey that I could tell. Nice ambiance also, good decor, fancy chairs, people were quite dressy."

  • "Had a great night at Jump! The vindaloo beef cheek was fantastic! As was the carrot soup. Nice that it had no dairy. Very deep flavours, I loved the toasted coconut on top. Service was friendly but bit slow at times. I guess because they were busy. Definitely will return."

  • "I dined here with my g/f and ordered from the Summerlicious menu - the Braised Wellington County Beef Cheek Vindaloo was one of THE most amazing dishes I have ever tasted - marinated and slow-cooked to perfection. Appetizer consisting of Salmon Tartare and Peach & Passion Fruit dessert were also great. Professional and courteous staff, timely serving. Cozy chairs and decorative surroundings. Highly recommended!"

  • "The food was all amazing but I didn't get to eat what I wanted. When I made my reservation, the restaurant failed to mention that we could ONLY order from the Summerlicious menu."

  • "I went for Summerlicious, obviously a lower quality food than they usually serve, but delicious and well presented."

  • "I found this great place through the Summerlicious list of participating restaurants. My girlfriend and I were ready to try out a high end restaurant for the night and Jump seemed like the right choice. When we arrived, Jump exceeded our expectations - the service was spectacular and the food was amazing. I hope to come again soon."

  • "Went for a Summerlicious lunch. Food was below average, service was slow and they forgot my bar order. Patio outside was nice. Not worth another visit to an overhyped O&B restaurant"

  • "We had lunch. The three course set menu was a good value. The curry and lemon grass soup was delicious. The entree which was a chicken panini was flavourful. The dessert which was a panama coat was decadent."

  • "Was not disappointed! From the moment we arrived for my friends birthday lunch, I was impressed by the excellent service which continued during our visit. Food was exceptional - salmon tartare, seam bream (with the best crispy skin ever!) and peach trifle, were delicious. And the sparkling water was perfect and refreshing. One friend did not like her chicken sandwich, so the fabulous waiter replaced it with the sea bream - outstanding service once again. And he made note of it being a birthday visit and surprised my friend with a special birthday dessert. A memorable lunch. Thanks team Jump!"

  • "Haven't been back here since 2009 and it didn't disappoint! busy place for lunch but crowd quickly dissipated after mid morning hour. Food was wonderful, service prompt, proper & waiter was friendly, helpful. Main course was just right, desserts were even better! Yummy! Good down town scene, near subway line and ambience was just right! Nostalgic for me and new discovery for my friend. We agree: definitely will return again for another great lunch."

  • "My family and I had summerlicious dinner there and since we came at around 6pm, there weren't a lot of people in the restaurant. My whole family is vegetarian so we asked if we can modify the appetizers a little bit so we can have more choices. The server kindly helped us with that and his service was superb! In terms of food, the curry carrot soup was very filling as an appetizer, taste was ok. The ravioli was tasty but a bit too oily. I liked the dessert most. We ordered the passion fruit and peach trifle, and the buttermilk panna cotta, which were both great and they are must-tries in the restaurant."

  • "Enjoyed the first day of Summerlicious at Jump. The menu was varied and offer good choices. While the service was outstanding, I would have to say that food was good but not great. My group all felt the same - no complaints but no compliments either. We had high expectations for our meals and we were all slightly disappointed. The desserts were the best part of the meal which is why I gave a 4 rather than a 3 star rating."

  • "I was overall pleased with our visit to Jump. However, there were a few things I wanted to point out: 1. No oysters available or Halibut fish on menu. 2. Asked for no pulled pork in the scallop appetizer, but pork was still added to the plate. 3. Truffle mushrooms (side order) initially ordered didn't come out with the salmon (main dish) and had to ask for it. Otherwise, no issues. We really didn't have any big deal with the above, but wanted to point it out. Thank you."

  • "Very accesible....restaurant ambience was OK...service friendly but not great, especially since we looked at earlier reviews that praised service. We advised at reservation that it was a birthday event and requested a birthday dessert...was acknowledged as a birthday by waiter upon arrival but then nothing!! Desert was not even offered...any kind! The Food was very good overall but the ribeye for two was just ok."

  • "It's been a few years since I was at Jump and so I was really looking forward to the evening. A Thursday night out in the finance district used to see Jump as a happening, fun, super social place to be with an inventive menu. Our party sat on the patio which was DEAD and inside was quiet too. The staff were very good and attentive but the food was mediocre. We shared pulled BBQ sliders, salmon ceviche, and had an heirloom tomato salad and a caesar. The caesar salad was terrible with one solitary anchovy and a strip of hard bacon. We also had to ask for a bread basket. Sooooo.....it was OK but I won't be in a hurry to go back. Sorry Jump :("

  • "We had a Business Dinner at Jump. The food was the best that I've had at that restaurant. The Chicken dish was unbelievable, and Mushroom Soup - exceptional. Service was great but the Server was a bit over-extended"
