The food was flavorful without being overly salted - something we are encountering more frequently even in high end restaurants. Service was friendly and warm and knowledgeable. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portions were ample. Prices were reasonable considering the quality and quantity. The seafood soup is a keeper. The salmon was wonderful and the sides were delicious. Plenty of non-seafood items as well: My husband loved the fried chicken. Bread pudding fans: this is the one to try. Will definitely be returning. Does Jacksonville finally have an outstanding seafood restaurant??

Really enjoyed the first time at this beautiful restaurant.. Its very convenient in my neighborhood. Its nice to see that someone finally took the time and had the money to take advantage of that waterfront property- what a relaxing view. Food and service was wonderful. Unfortunately I will only be able to enjoy the restaurant for the outside dining - the noise level inside is just too much.

Everything here was wonderful...service, food, atmosphere and a gorgeous view. I would absolutely come back again and again. The only negative I have was that I brought my 4 month old with us and there is only one changing table in the entire restaurant. It's downstairs in the private dining area so everytime I needed to change her diaper I had to carry her all the way downstairs from the regular dining room and walk through the private party going on to use the changing table. Other than that, a wonderful experience!

We were passing through Jacksonville, and we were looking for a nice seafood restaurant with a view. Julington Creek was located next to a marina, and we outfitted to fit the locale. The food and service made the overall experience worth the drive away from the highway worth while!

Very mediocre. Bland shrimp & grits, was more like shrimp, butter & grits, and overcooked Cobia. Price is high for the quality of the food. Waiter started out very good but we never saw him after we ordered, until we flagged him down to get the check, then I had to find him again so I could pay. Wouldn't go back.

Dinner was outstanding. The fried green tomatoes are to die for and portion huge and can be easily shared by 4 people. Shrimp and grits are heavenly best I've ever had. Our friends had cod and salmon and throughly enjoyed. Save room for bread pudding...will be best you've ever had. Even caught sunset on St. John's river. Only negative would be bit noisy- quieter downstairs, but then view compromised or weather permitting eat outside. Excellent dining experience!

This is a relatively new restaurant and it needs to work some problems out. The service was great and menu fair, however the mixed drinks were way to high for that establishment. Stick with a local beer and order fried something, that's it!!

I am so happy to finally have a quality fish camp in Mandarin! The food is consistently delicious and every dish I try seems better that the last. Lunch on the outside deck is lovely on a nice day! The drinks from the bar are always on target. When you order something you know it tastes exactly like you know it should. The service and timing was perfect! Do I have any negatives? NO! Enjoy the best fish camp in Mandarin!

This was my husband's and my first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice walking in and the hostess was very friendly and sat us right away. The downside was our server was extremely rude and rushed us the entire visit and seemed annoyed to be serving us. We each got fish for dinner (flounder and brook trout) which was very good. After I signed the credit card statement and put a cash tip in the check sleeve our server was back and this time reached over me to the opposite side of the booth without saying excuse me (we also still had full drinks and were not ready to leave at that time, but did because we were so unhappy after spending $180.00 and having to deal with that type of service). Will not be going back.

Our party was a bit disappointed because there was limited seafood selections the night we ate there. We walked in and there were 6 or 7 grouper in the case, yet none on the menu - a bit misleading. Service was a bit slow because there were several large parties there at the time.

Second time here. The calamari appetizer was good. My mom wanted to try the low boil for two which was the same thing I had the 1st time. While it was still very good it wasnt as good or seasoned as the first time I had it. I would most definitely go back to the restaurant but next time I really will try something rlse. The key lime pie was good too.

I went for lunch with a friend and was hoping the noise level was a fluke. My husband and I went for dinner, and he could not believe how loud it was. We had a reservation and when the hostess said we'd be upstairs, we asked if we could move downstairs as seemed less noisy. She said sure, if we wanted to wait an hour and 15 minutes. Really?? Our server was great and so was the food. We actually laughed the whole time about all the conversations we could hear. If I'm going to spend $120+ on dinner for two, I expect to be able to hold a conversation with the people at my table. We won't be back.

First trip here and it was good enough to go back. Some of the dishes were not as good as we had hoped, but the steak was excellent as were the muscles, potatoes and mixed vegetables. The wahoo was a little overdone, but fried green tomatoes were good as was dessert. Drinks were done well also. Atmosphere was great as was the view, although they need to put a wooden barrier around the dumpster in the parking lot. A little to many kids in the crowded dining room (I left mine at home).
