The good: Good food, good choices, helpful servers. Food tastes very fresh and flavorful. The bad: *Extremely* loud. Multiple servers not coordinated. Good find, but come prepared to get your Tapas staggered over a long time. Don't plan on being able to have any kind of conversation with your companions.

The food was incredible. I went there with a group of girls and we had a great time. We ordered some fabulous vegetarian and Vegas dishes. The egg dish with fries wasn't a hit but the risotto, kale salad, potatoes with aoli sauce, and desserts were amazing.

This is my second time at this restaurant. It seemed off this time. When I asked the hostess for the pre-theater menu, it drew a blank from her. She finally found it. The pork chop was undercooked despite asking for it to be well done. The chocolate cake was amazing though. My last visit was wondefil so this was more disappointing. Perhaps it was just an off day.

Had a reservation on a Friday night for a partying of four. We were seated almost immediately. We started with a pitcher of sangria and several tapas plates. The tapas plates were under seasoned. They were good, not great. We followed the the tapas with a seafood paella that was terrible. The rice was undercooked and near flavorless. Some of the seafood was raw and some over cooked. We would have sent it back if we could have found a server. We won't go back.

Our waiter was great! Very friendly and knowledgable about the food and wine! He even met our request for an update on a baseball score we were interested in! The tasting menu is the only way to go! Lots of different tastes selected for you ( including desert). The tasting menu should be offered the entire night - not just early evening. If they don't offer you the tasting menu - ask for it!

We have eaten here several times in the past and have always enjoyed the food. But this time the Paella was not that good. It seemed dried out, almost as if it was sitting back there under a heat lamp for a while before it was brought out to us or was pre-made and overcooked. As we were leaving, we saw another table had just received their Paella at their table and it looked GREAT, moist and steaming hot. The tapas were great as usual. The wine sommelier that helped us with the wines was very knowledgeable and helpful. We just wished they had a bigger selection of Spanish Rose's.

If you like a wide selection of high quality, well prepared Spanish tapas dishes that are served well paced this is a winner. On the other side the noise level is extreme. My wife and I typically sit across, rather than next to one another. Even sitting next to one another conversation was difficult. The wine list was extensive but would have benefitted from a Few more choices under $100. Next trip we will go for lunch.

We tried an assortment of tapas, all of which were very good, including an especially good citrus creme brule for dessert. The service was professional but friendly. The only thing that I'd have liked better were slightly smaller tables for two so that I did not have to shout at my dinner companion to be heard. Also, ladies room needs to be larger because the line was too long for a restaurant / bar.

We've dined here before and each time we try something new along with our old favorites. This time we tried the short ribs. The meat just fell off the bones and the sauce was rich and flavorful. We also tried the mariscada since we're seafood lover's and we weren't disappointed. Our regular standbys were still as good as always: white fish ceviche, bomba, churros and buñuelos.

We discovered this tapas restaurant a few years ago and have returned every time we visit Las Vegas. We've taken carnivores, vegans, kids and city slickers and the verdict is the same. It is beautiful; the food is good and the service is impeccable. We always start with the ahi cones to get the party started and its always a hit. The mushroom soup was rich and luscious. The beet salad is superb. The calamari was good but the stand-out was the large-plate salmon dinner -- all world. The short ribs were a miss and they took it off our bill. The molten chocolate cake was the perfect ending to our wonderful dinner. Yes, we'll be back

I love Picasso so expected this to be a gem. My mushroom soup was great but the chicken kebabs were just fair and the Santiago cake for dessert was also only fair and nearly as good as the one I had in Madrid. Seating is comfortable and I liked much of the decor, especially the colorful tile work, but it is a bit too noisy for conversation.

We always come here when we are in Vegas. Had the 3 course lunch special this time. Food was very good for the most part. Steak for my husband was very well done when he asked for med rare plus his steak had a lot of gristle & was more chewier than mine. Dessert was delicious. Our server was not very welcoming, when you asked him a question he answered back with an attitude in his voice. I asked about rioja wine since I have never tried this type of wine before. I asked if it was sweet, dry & he responded "it tastes like a rioja". Wow, how rude. I decided not to ask him anything else. He barely came by the rest of lunch to see how we were doing. He obviously did not want to serve us. Very disappointing to one of favorite places.

Visited Julian Serrano for lunch during restaurant week and we were extremely please with all aspects. Food, service, atmosphere and $20 for lunch for THIS wonderful food? What a deal. We have found a new favorite place in Las Vegas. It was truly a memorable lunch. Mushroom soup with foie gras toast, rib eye with Japanese eggplant, chicken skewer over beet hummus, dense moist cake with ice cream for dessert and the flan all were truly outstanding.

Since the Aria basically looks and feels like being in a nice airport, I guess it was only fitting that the food and service at Julian Serrano was like eating at an "okay" airport restaurant. I was excited about trying Julian Serrano because it had fairly good ratings and was on the cheaper side. The decor looked cheap and tacky and the food was underwhelming. Of the Tapas we sampled, the "Tuna cones" were by far the most interesting. The paella was a disaster and I would not recommend ordering it unless you like your seafood overcooked and your rice soggy and bland. I wouldn't go out of your way to try this place... if you are staying at the Aria, I would recommend sticking to the tapas rather than the larger plates.

The quality overall, food-wise was lacking. We sent back the calamari which was cold and chewy. The sliders were tasty, but tiny and the rest of what we ordered from the menu was the same. Either poor quality or small in portion. Even the waiter remarked that the good was a far cry from authentic Spanish cuisine. I do not recommend.

Pardon my French but this was a sensational meal for $39 (before 7pm.) My lobster gaspacho was the best version of the cold tomato soup I have had despite years in Paris, DC, Seattle and Las Vegas. The ladies shared their stuffed peppers--- almost as good. Main course of crisped chicken breast on cabbage and peppers with sour cream sauce was delicious if a little over cooked. The ladies' salmon sautéed in lemon and soy was better. Deserts were great, too, chocolate cake with sour watermelon sorbet, Spanish rice pudding glazed like crème caramel and my almond cake (the least flavorful of the three). This may be the best dinner bargain in Vegas.

After overspending for dinner the first night in vegas at supposedly the finest french restaurant in vegas with a pretentious waiter who knew nothing about the menu we almost gave up on a good meal and good service!! Well let me tell you we received a great meal and great service!! It is obvious management at Julian Serrano-Aria realizes how important service is!! My wife and I couldn't of been happier with Jason!! He was attentive from the minute we arrived. He checked on us at appropriate times to make sure everything was to our liking!! It was!!
