  • "Review title says it all. We greatly enjoyed selecting interesting dishes, discovering they were all delicious, and sharing them until we were sated. The Gazpacho is excellent. Also black rice, tuna "carpaccio" and MANY others. The Paella was delicious but not as special as the myriad of other dishes."

  • "Wonderful tapas!! Had peppers stuffed with goat cheese, crispy artichokes, japanese eggplant, oxtail with mashed potatoes, iberico and beef sliders. The favorite was the peppers with their luscious sauce that was finished up by cleaning the plate with bread. All were really excellent. Unfortunately, the mixed paella was not as successful. it had a somewhat overwhelming smokiness which made the rice almost unpalatable. We mentioned to the waiter that we enjoyed the tapas more than the paella (without actually complaining about the dish.) He comped us two of our three desserts ( all excellent, especially the churros with chocolate/chili dipping sauce) because of that comment. Cocktails excellent as was sangria. Knowledgeable staff."

  • "The restaurant is a little crowded, they could rethink their table placement. We sat off a peninsula on the bar. Four of us went to have a fun dinner before seeing a show. The We had a blast, the cocktails were amazing (even if a bit pricey, but hey, it is Vegas) The menu is massive. Ask for advice from your server! Our server, Jason, recommended the oxtail and yellowtail tiradito, two of our favorite dishes. Definitely order the tuna cones, they didn't finish the meal, but they finished us!"

  • "Eat here every time I'm in Vegas! Love the tapas, and the white sangria."

  • "From the food, to the ambience, an excellent experience. Food quality is top notch with an interesting menu."

  • "What a night, food, service, all perfect. Vry similar at flavour of original spanish plates. Thanks"

  • "The tapas were interesting, unique and delicious. The sommelier was helpful and knowledgable. The food is really excellent here. The wine/ sherry selection was enticing. My only concern was the lack of any dress code. I was dressed in dress slacks and shirt. I was overdressed. I saw men in shorts and tshirts and women in jean cut offs. I realize this is Las Vegas in July, but the restaurant has a/c, so there is no need to come in and look like you are at a beach bar. The restaurant must be desperate for business, so wear whatever you want. But then the prices should come down to "beach bar" prices."

  • "My favorites were the black rice, the tuna cones, and the marinated olives (though I admit, my favorite part of the olives was the garlic!). Awesome, awesome dinner. Everyone at my table (all nine of us) LOVED it!"

  • "When you open the menu here, the food choices are overwhelming. You can get something in every category of food imaginable - from Ahi tartar to vegetarian to full steak entrees. The tapas are generous portions but small enough to try several items from the menu. We loved the bacon wrapped dates and the chicken coquettes, but everything we ordered was done with flair and perfection. Note, this is not a quiet, relaxing, romantic scene. The openness of the restaurant is deceiving as it is very, very loud here. That's not necessarily a bad thing if you want a high energy setting to enjoy tapas and drinks, but don't expect to have any deep conversations here. The pace is frenetic but we never felt rushed and the servers were top notch."

  • "Arranged a booking online for a group of 18 for a Bachelor party, requested the $59 set menu. Upon arrival was approached by the waiter who stated he didn't think the set menu was an accurate reflection of the variety of food available and offered a different option for $60pp basically filling the table with dish after dish after. The dishes kept coming all evening- excellent value for money, great service including advising two people with allergies which dishes to avoid. Waiter staff were advised we only had a limited amount of time due to transport arrangements and were served our first dishes within minutes of this. Great selection of tapas, amazing food and vibrant friendly restaurant!"

  • "It was extremely loud, so much that we could barely hear anyone in our group of six talk. Waiter could have does a better job with dinner suggestions, his recommendation for three orders of each tapas would have been way too much of each dish. I will say the food was well prepared and very good."

  • "With so many good restaurants don't other with this one. The tapas? The chicken croquet reminded me of high school cafeteria. The chicken skewers? Boiled tasteless chicken and a few random vegetables and a sauce I couldn't find any flavor in. Tuna? Four tiny cubes of flavorless tuna with sesame seeds - how perfectly unimaginative. Sandwiches - dry chicken and if not for the garlic spread no flavor. Sangria was very good though. Service? We had two sandwich orders. They brought one - other didn't show up until for 10 minutes. They forgot one of the tapas orders, we had to beg to get our sangria. And they did comp us one order as things were so bad."

  • "Excellent dinner! Two people at our table got the fixed menu (an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert) for just over $30 which was a great deal. My husband and I shared the tuna cones, beef and steak, short ribs, and papas bravos which were all excellent. Most meals are "small plates" which made them ideal for sharing. We had churros with melted chocolate for dessert which was (unsurprisingly) excellent. I would definitely go back again."

  • "Serrano's has a wide array of tapas and has a fun lively atmosphere. The food is delicious. It is great for late night time snacks and trying a variety of different dishes."

  • "My first visit to Julian Serrano was for lunch. The food was smashingly good--the best tapas I'd ever had. Last weekend while in LV for a conference, I went with 4 coworkers for dinner. I'd been raving about the food. They went on my recommendation. The food was just...ok. Certainly not worth what we paid for it as far as my companions were concerned. I was disappointed and a little embarrassed. I'm hoping it was just an off night...still, not sure I'd recommend it as loudly again."

  • "Perfect. This restaurant has amazing tapas, and a great wine list. The atmosphere is fun, and the sommelier has put together an excellent wine list. Bravo!"

  • "My girlfriend and I love paella and this place knows how to make it.We started with a couple of tapas selections including the white anchovy filets, which were outstanding, then moved onto the paella marianara. Delicious! Didn't have the crunchy socorrat but the rice was great nonetheless. Definitely worth the visit if you're near the Aria in Vegas."

  • "We've dined here before, but this time was not as good. Some of the food was excellent -- the albondigas and Spanish pizza especially. But some of the food (the chorizo and fries in the huevos estrellada) had been setting under a heating light way too long, as they were dry and hard. The waitperson was excellent -- knowledgeable and friendly, helped reseat us, and remembered us from prior visit. The greeter was not so good -- barely said a word to us, and failed to check us in."

  • "Beautiful restaurant, beautiful food. Everything was delicious - we ordered 6 different tapas items and they were all spectacular. Our waiter was not quite as spectacular. We ordered two sangrias, a white and a sparkling. He brought us a red and a sparkling. He said "Keep it" and brought a white sangria. He them charged us for the one he told us to keep. He came over later and asked for my order, then walked away without getting my friend's order."

  • "What a disappointment! Should have known why they had openings at last minute. Fried artichokes were bland and watered down (how they did that I don't know). Foie Gras was very suspiciously similar to a large mushroom and "tenderloin"was like chuck roast. First tenderloin was well done, remade it to extremely rare and 25 minutes later we said "forget it". On the up side, the soup was good and cocktails were good and the waiter was efficient. Restaurant is gorgeous but a total waste of our $121.00"

  • "Great wine selection, several excellent choices by the glass too. Calamari was excellent. Had the paella... It was good, but not as spicy and flavorful as I would have liked."

  • "Surprised to find such an extensive menu. At first, it was overwhelming, but the choices were wonderful. Everything was delicious, especially the "bomba," lamb pintxo and eggs with chorizo and fries. Super Spanish wine list with amazing choices. All for a decent price. One of the best places I've eaten at in Vegas."

  • "From the calamari to the chorizo everything was great. We had this chicken dish, that I can't remember the name, but it was grilled on a bamboo skewer with onion and apricots. It was the best! The combination was unusual so we had to try it and wow, were we glad we did. The Red Sangria was killer. The light hint of Cinnamon at the end really added to the complexity of the flavor. Prices were reasonable for Las Vegas and for a tapas restaurant."

  • "Having been to a number a well-regarded tapas restaurants in NY. DC, and SF Bay Area I was disappointed in Serrano's at the Aria. The restaurant itself is beautiful and relaxing for lunch. Service was a little rushed (serving all the dishes at once instead of pacing them). We had the oxtails (good), lobster fidea, piquillo peppers (just ok) and cheese (served cold instead of room temp). I was especially disappointed in the wine list which lacked any Spanish or Basque Rosé. Not sure I would recommend to lovers of Spanish food and wine."

  • "Very nice food. Of course given it is in aria it was pricey. But the food was very good. I had the Spanish croquet and boneless chicken wings and nth were yummy. Though the boneless wings were fantastic"

  • "As a local Las Vegan I dine out regularly and am uniquely experienced in evaluating a total dining experience. Tapas prepared and presented in a manner I expected from Julian Serrano, a respected and recognized Las Vegas/restaurateur. I rate the restaurant ambiance as very lively. Although extremely busy, the service was executed with precision. There is a variety of Tapas certain to satisfy the preferences of various guests. Wine list is excellent featuring some great Spanish varieties. Will please anyone seeking a true Spanish Tapas dining experience. For What They Do - They Do Well. I can summarize by stating: There are two classes of Tapas restaurants - One Good, The Other Better. Juilan Serrano excels in the "Better" category."

  • "Arrived 10 mins before our 7.30pm reservation to be told restaurant was busy and we would have to wait about 20 mins for a table. Staff seemed disinterested and directed us to bar where we had to stand another 10 mins to get served drinks. At table service was slow and again restaurant seemed to be in chaos. Ordered 4 tapas plates, two of which we had to wait a further 20 mins for after first two arrived. Food was barely warm and presentation poor (looked like it had been thrown together in a rush by kitchen). Very disappointed that no-one offered any apology for delays or poor service. I would not recommend Julian Serrano and will not be going there again."

  • "Of seven high-end Vegas restaurants on a recent visit, all paled in comparison to this (and Sage-Aria) - each of eight different tapas was impeccable with top-notch wine pairings suggested by staff. Service was confident, cordial, and beautifully timed. In this day of "celebrity chef" dining, one too often feels that the hand of the chef hasn't been felt in the house for months, but not here - an extraordinary evening that I will recommend to everyone I know!"

  • "our particular waiter was not the best neither was the Sangria which I was a bit disappointed with this being a Spanish restaurant. The food presentation was pretty, portions are small, sangria was water down so have them chill the wine and not add ice on the Sangria pitcher. I highly recommend the bacon wrap figs very yummy! Overall its a great place to hang out meet friends."

  • "I came in with a group of 13 girls. The overall ambiance and food were great, but our server not so much. I told her we needed to get out by 9:15 because we had a very strict timeline and that is about all she delivered on. She took down our orders, but after she took our orders she didn't repeat them back to us. Because of that she wrote down several of our orders incorrectly. Our food came out one at a time. Seriously?! One of our girls didn't even get her food until several of us had finished eating. When she finally did get her food she had to wait longer because they gave her the salmon instead of the salmon cake she had ordered. They brought me the baby back ribs, when I ordered the short ribs. Overall, I do not recommend this place!"

  • "Dined at Serrano on a Friday night and the place was hopping. Our service never wavered, however, and tapas dishes came quickly and throughout the evening as we added more along the way. The sangria was delicious and apparently potent! The wine suggested to us was a good choice and the food was delicious. We especially liked the sliders and the peppers. The mixed baby romaine salad was refreshing, as was the white ceviche. Other good choices included bomba and oxtail. Not as crazy about the black rice, but I'm really not a squid person. Overall a great dining experience!"

  • "At $39 p/p, the Prix Fixe early evening dinner special can't be beat. The food was quite good overall, with some outstanding dishes. That said, we both found the service cold and unprofessional. When we asked for the prix fixe menu, which was advertised on their website, the waiter simply turned without a word, walked away, then came back a few seconds later and dropped the menus on the table without further comment. Rough around the edges, but worth the price."

  • "I took my family for a nice, cosy dinner in a decent restaurant, that is within the hotel we've been staying. However it didn't turn out to be a good enough experience for us. Here's why. We ordered 2 goat cheese salads, and 3 main dishes for a party of 3. Our dishes were lamb chops (x2) and chicken. They were expensive plates, around 35 bucks per plate, so we were expecting some decent amount of food. But the portions we received, especially lamb chops wouldn't even feed a 8 year old kid. There were literally 2 tiny chops and 8 slices of baked potato on the plate. Same for goat cheese salad, which had a thumb sized cheese and a few green leaves. I paid 180 bucks and left hungry; if this is the way 'gourmet' food is made, I am out."

  • "I had questions about the sherry and its suitability with food. The sommelier not only answered my questions and brought me some to sample but gave me an interesting backstory of the Andalusia region and sherry making process. And my salad with goat cheese was delicious."
