Service very caring. will go again.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is our 3rd time at Jubilee. This is our 3rd time at Jubilee. We have loved it always! Our grandson, who lives in the neighborhood, accompanied us and loved it also. Mussels are just the best, and the Grand Marnier soufflee - oo la la, c'est magnifique!! And when the manager approached our table and thanked us for returning to Jubilee, I was hooked - since it was over a year ago that we last dined at Jubilee!! That was a great touch. Will recommend this gem to all of our friends.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Experience!!!!Thanks for the great experience at theJubilee. The french cuisine was very good, excelent service, we loved it.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMA Lunchtime TreatJubilee is one of those rare finds - a smart restaurant that provides excellent food and wine at competitive prices. I took two colleagues for lunch and all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The Prix Fixe menu is very well priced and the mussels (a speciality of the house) are the best I have eaten in New York. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere is just right. Highly recommended.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a treatThis is a standard go-to spot for my family. Mussels and frites are great and the specials always delicious. Gracious owner and good staff.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMNice ambienceFairly low noise level even when it became crowded. I could converse with my friends without shouting. No loud music. I am trying to shun loud restaurants.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA New Home for an Old FavoriteI have eaten at Jubilee many times over the years in it's original location and always had a great meal. Mother's Day Brunch was my first time at the new place which is a larger and brighter venue. The food has been consistently very good here and the new space adds a fresh face to an old favorite restaurant in the Sutton Place area. Prices are moderate, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is consistently top notch French-inspired fare.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was terrific. TheEverything was terrific. The one complaint is, it was too noisy. But, I'll be back again.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have eaten there severalWe have eaten there several tjmes and each time it has been excellent. The staff is attentive and the food is great.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMthe ambiance is comfortablethe ambiance is comfortable yet elegant with great service. You can't go wrong with the mussels, but everything is good. The only thing missing from their menu is their raspberry gratine which was a divine dessert.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFun decorMy husband and I are on a quest to find the most fabulous non-chocolate souffle.... we had a fine Grand Marnier souffle... Good food... we both just loved the decor... old books on shelves and a fun looking crowd... we actually snuck a peak in a book about the worlds fairs... great evening5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and welcoming staff. The mussels are excellent. The stripped sea bass was also excellent. The french fries are delicious and are served hot. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the specials. The staff always greet customers in a welcoming manner. They have a very good selection of food. I highly recommend this restaurant. Go between 6 - 6:30 when the restaurant is still not as busy.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was delicious. LotsThe food was delicious. Lots of menu choices. Mussels are a specialty and they are superb.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMBetter than everWe returned to our favorite neighborhood restaurant, Jubilee, after an absence of a few months. I am happy to report that it is even better now. Best value in the city: Prosper Mafoux Cote du Rhone on the wine list. This was the house wine at the fabled Lutece.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMThis excellent neighborhoodThis excellent neighborhood restaurant, now in a new location, features mussels in several different sauces. It also has a fine menu of other choices. But the mussels are irresistible.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWe frequently ate at the oldWe frequently ate at the old Jubilee and missed it when it closed. This new version is even better than the old. It is more spacious, doesn't pile diners on top of one another, and is attractively decorated. The food is, as always, simple, reasonably priced and special. The mussels were wonderful, probably the best we've eaten anywhere in New York, and the fries were fresh and crisp, not out of a frozen food bag as in many other places. The service was unrushed although, to be fair, we were there at noon on a Saturday, not their busiest time. Although not in our immediate neighborhood, we will now consider Jubilee one of our regular dining spots. We are happy to have rediscovered it.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a lovely, welcomingThis is a lovely, welcoming French restaurant with wonderful food.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAs always a delicious dinnerAs always a delicious dinner and gracious staff. First time at the new location which is much bigger and has more ambiance than the old one. (We hate places where the tables are right on top of each other) We sat in the middle room which was spacious and pretty. Service was friendly and attentive. Terrine de foie gras great as was the ravioli and the scallops. Good wine selection. Wish they had left the duck confit on the menu. We wmill definitely be back.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfection!!This was our first visit to the new location -- delicious food in a wonderful new setting! We highly recommend.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMA new favorite!Visiting my daughter in NYC means eating well - but Jubilee now tops my list! Luke recommended a delicious Bordeaux to start, and he was spot on for perfect accompaniment to our menu choices. The foie gras and cassoulet were outstanding! Tuna tartar perfection! and my daughter's steak and pomme frites, well, let's just say we cleaned our plates! Lastly we shamelessly licked the plate on the chocolate molten cake! Service was perfection from beginning to end...thank you Jubilee for a memorable meal! We will return soon!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMAs usual, a very nice dinnerAs usual, a very nice dinner - our guest from Santa Fe was very impressed!!3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMA comfortable place with goodA comfortable place with good food in the Beekman/Sutton neighborhood. It is too bad they did not expand to a larger space sooner. The restaurant is filled every night, so reservations are advisable. The only reason we stopped going because we began our love of trying new restaurants. We went back this past Sat night to their new location, and their food is still fantastic. They have the best mussels hands down. Their scallop dish was dream-worthy. My husband loved his dish. We will be back again to start introducing it to our friends. Overall, the service was amazing. They really try to make you happy!! A great neighborhood gem!! I hope I will still be able to get a table after people discover this place.1/18/2013 12:00:00 AMI can't imagine a better orI can't imagine a better or cozier place to have very good French food, especially spectacularly great mussels.12/22/2012 12:00:00 AMAlways a Sutton Place gem,Always a Sutton Place gem, Jubilee has lovely fare in elegant surroundings.
