We arrivedA Great Experience. We arrived about 4:30, went up to the 4th floor for a drink. Wonderful! Then down to the main dinning area on the ground floor. The food was some of the best and most interesting we have had in the amazing gaslamp area. The service was impeccable, but the best was saved for last, a chocolate creation that provided a totally new way to think about chocolate its many tastes and textures. Price was reasonable... but wait there is more... my wife left her sunglasses and the staff, rather than placing them in lost and found and waiting for us to call, tracked down our phone # (from open table) and called US! We were way early for our reservation but the hostess was able to seat us anyway after only a brief delay. Service was both friendly and timely. The food was excellent. I had the scallops with duck fat seared potatoes, my wife had seared ahi with cauliflower puree and anise carrots. Both dishes were beautifully presented. Desserts are excellent too. Each dish was an amazing blend of flavors and perfectly prepared and paired with the ideal wine or beverage. They make the common mistake of assuming that all vegetarians are dieting though, as their sole herbivore main dish is of tiny proportion. The preparation and presentation of their menu items is superb and everything is so delicately full of flavor. Service is friendly, informative but never intrusive and the abience is warm and never loud and boisterous-- a place where you can dine and have wonderful conversation with friends. We had the Lemmon hummus, artichoke dip and shallot dip with olive bread and it was so good even my kids gobbled it up!
We also asked for gnocchi which my 9 year old loved.
The seared tuna and the Salmon were excellent! And even dessert!
They have special natural drinks that are fantastic as well.

We visited this gem last year and enjoyed it so much we visited them again this year, once again for dinner. The cauliflower was rubbery), and dessert which was a good ending to a very good meal. We purchased the wine pairing and were pleasantly surprised that the wine fit the food very well.
