We got the date special which came with a filet and ribeye and both cuts were cooked perfectly and were amazing. We will most definitely be back. The food was EXCELLENT!! My wife had the cut-with-a-spoon filet tenderloin with a bushel size serving of asparagus and I had the melt-in-your-mouth Sea Bass with creamed spinach and artichoke hearts. Obsolutely delicious. Our service was great. We had a waiter-in-training supported by a trainer but any minor errors made were completely overlooked by the friendliness and attentiveness. Both waiters carried our to-go box and wine and ESCORTED us to the bar to finish our wine and enjoy the live music. Very nice touch. When replaying our entire staycation weekend we both agreed that JR's was the highlight. It was our first visit to this restaurant, and our whole experience was outstanding. The food was superb. Our server, L.J., was the best server we've had in a long time...very attentive, polite, and patient. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
