"This restaurant is a gem. The service and food were excellent. The crowd seemed a bit older (my wife and I are in our 40's and the rest of the customers were our parents' age), but we loved the experience and would love to return. We highly recommend it!"

"At first we thought that it was just for the older crowd (50+) but as we stayed there longer we realized that reguardless of what age you are, your going enjoy the food. As a first timer the setting was great and the amount of tables was just right. Weather your going to there to have lunch or dinner your experiance will be well worth the quality of food that is served there. The service is great and don't be afaid to ask questions. The staff knows there stuff from the food to the wine list. Oh one last thing dont be afraid of the prices on the menu, they have specials all the time."

"We always enjoy our times at Joseph's, although we tend to eat at more modest places except for special occasions. The special occasion this time was Colorado Springs Restaurant Week, with a special $50 menu for two. -- The selections were not quite as interesting as those on the full menu, but we found a salad and a fish dish that we liked. We love that the "salad bowl" is made from two long strips of cucumber. I started with a lobster bisque soup: it's to die for! Rich, full-flavored, and a tang that I assume comes from a dry sherry. -- We ate early and had the restaurant to ourselves. That was a disappointment: on Valentine's Day it was packed, and the atmosphere was much warmer. Still, it's the food we come for; and that was good."

"After reading the multitude of feverish reviews pro & con I was compelled to try Josephs for myself. All the fervor is for naught. This is a nice restaurant with good food and service. It is a bit expensive but that should never be a factor knowing it beforehand. The wine list is adequate for well priced mediocre wines, but very expensive for the more notable ones. The food is rich and salty, nothing especially appealing for my taste. For those offended by the "1%" be aware that this is definitely a destination restaurant for the Broadmoor neighborhood. Carlos Restaurant just down the street is a far better option."

"This was my first experience at Joseph's and it was superb. The food was second to none, the service was excellent, our waiters were polite and fun, the ambiance was cozy and romantic. A great place to celebrate special occasions!! or to enjoy a girls' night out. :D"

"The food was excellent!! Our only issue was with the service. We never knew who our waiter/waitress was. Then after our salads we waited for 25 minutes for our entree, it wasn't until I stopped someone to inquire that our entrees were finally brought out to us. We also finished our bottle of wine and we had to stop someone again to request more wine. The restaurant would be better suited to have servers assigned to a specific section, that way they could take care of their patrons better. We plan to try Joseph's again, however if we receive the same type of service we will not dine there again."
