Josephine'sSeafoodExcellent seafood selection...loved the Crunchy Oysters and the NC Flounder.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMSecond visit, exceptional as firstJosephine's is a Greensboro gem which I typically would not expect to find in a smaller southern city. I travel extensively and this restaurant rivals and outshines the bistros that I have dined at in the Northeastern metro areas of the US. Excellent and very attentive service complements the exquisite menu and daily specials offered by Josephine's. We will make it the prime dining choice when traveling back to Greensboro on business.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways ExcitingAlways good. Exciting place that deserves repeat business. Food is exceptional and all dishes are inviting. Wine list. Is good but confusing to some who don't recognize the cute names for some od the offerings ("Gun bun"). Sometimes the reds are too warm so make sure you ask your server about this. Looking forward to returning.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second visitThis was our second visit and it was just as great as the first! We'll definitely be back!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMDestination eats in Greensboro! This was the third time back in a year. The food and service was outstanding. I had the Chicken Milanese and I have to say, it was wonderful! For an appetizer, we had the fried oysters - also fantastic! This is a destination restaurant while in Greensboro!!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe waitress was prompt andThe waitress was prompt and very friendly. She checked back often. The foodWas absolutely wonderful! The desserts are amazing! Please go!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely love Josephines!Absolutely love Josephines! One of the best restaurants I have found on open table4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWe shared the argula saladWe shared the argula salad w/the sunny side up egg,it was delicious! Then my wife had the single crab cake, and it was presented beautiful. My wife said it was good! I had the mussells and I could not eat all them, and they very good. Overall it was a very good meal!!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was excellent, betterThe food was excellent, better in fact than the very good food I'd had on previous visits. My dinner companion and I both had "caesar salads," which were very fresh and actually a little spicy, which I liked--not classic caesar, though, with a different dressing and some extra fixings (maybe some bacon?). She had a small plate crab cake, which was delicious and came on a not-at-all-small bed of mashed potatoes. I had the sauteed snapper with lobster/pea risotto and some sugar peas, and it was terrific. I haven't been all that keen on risotto in the past but this was wonderful. The portion was large and I took half home, so though it was a pricy dish at $30, I did make two dinners of it. NZ Sauvignon Blanc is a great addition to wine list.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMSeemed high priced ( $35 forSeemed high priced ( $35 for a ribeye) , but otherwise very nice4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent MealWe enjoyed all of our food. The pork belly was delicious and the crab cake was great! Our server was very attentive and patient as we were catching up with friends we were having dinner with--lots of talking :) We love Josephine's--always great mixed drinks, service, and food!4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMgrand find in Greensborotraveling...excellant find. Food very nicely prepared and presented. Mussels were superb! Menu most inviting. Highly recommended.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant very nicelyThis restaurant very nicely continues to receive (and plan for) reservations, while many restaurants in Greensboro no longer have this practice. Josephine's had our table set up and the very nice host learned of my last name, and then led our group to our table without hesitation. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. In addition, servers from other tables who were passing by very nicely cleared plates from our table on the way to the kitchen.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLove Josephine's. We comeLove Josephine's. We come here as often as possible. Never disappoints. The PEI mussels are my favorite!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMJosephine's is a MUSTJosephine's is a must-try. I drove 2 1/2 hours from central VA to Greensboro just for dinner and I was not disappointed (although looking at the building from the outside made me wonder if I made the right choice). The food was fresh, the ingredients local, and every dish from appetizer to dessert was prepared to perfection... portion sizes were great... excellent flavor pairings in every dish! Our server was delightful and even though they were very busy, she took the time to chat with us when she was at the table and was attentive to all our dining needs. I look forward to returning very soon as the dinner was that great!!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved the food and especiallyLoved the food and especially happy about the use of fresh local ingredients!
