JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & SpaAs always our visit to JoryAs always our visit to Jory was exellent, look forward to our next visit. We are planning on staying there for a few days some time.
One small peeve, $28.00 for two glasses of Argyle champagne is to much I feel.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMA Fine Time Was Had By AllThe Jory Restaurant at the Allison Spa is a NW gem. We enjoyed a relaxing dinner with impeccable service, delious food and a great deal of attention to the fine details. I even was raving about the level of service the next day. I hope to come back soon, while the weather is still warm and dine outside. Thanks for making our dinner an occasion to remember.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWent for lunch. Great experience,Went for lunch. Great experience, the service was superb and the food delicious. Great place for special occasions. Can't wait to come back.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMOur best meal of the tripOur trip to Wine Country in Oregon was short so we tried to hit all the top recommended restaurants (Jory, Tina's, Joel Palmer House, and The Painted Lady). All were great, however Jory was our favorite. We enjoyed the diversity of the menu. The appetizers were outstanding. The halibut was amazing. My husband had ravioli. It was the best ever. Dessert was delicious.
We greatly appreciated the service and the ability of the staff to accommodate our change in flights and therefore our change in reservation. They seated us at 9:10 which was after their last seating (at 9:00). Complimentary valet parking was unexpected but so nice. It was the perfect way to top off a busy and hectic travel day.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMThank you for a wonderfulThank you for a wonderful experience. We took our mother for her birthday and were treated with fabulous attention and service. Everyone's dishes were perfectly cooked, as well as extremely fresh and flavorful. We were all very happy with our entire evening. Thanks for helping to make a memory that will last a lifetime.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMEnchanted diningWonderful service, lovely atmosphere in the heart of wine country, and many delicious food choices. Most times I have been utterly enchanted by The Jory, but on this occasion the menu was full of over-sauced, over ground items and lacking in meat choices. The only poultry or lamb choice came in sausage form with gnocchi and a ragout. The lamb ragout had some savory moments, but it was very oily on the plate and highly acidic. Still, if you want to splurge, you can't beat the ambience and the chance of a few delicious moments. Desserts are splendid, done right, and the overall portions are perfect.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMjory par excellencewe thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Jory. And it was na experience that I highly recommend.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a group of six peopleWe had a group of six people and had the best service along with outstanding meals, highly recommend to anyone.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulousAMAZING! So amazing we couldn't stop eating and left painfully full. First of all we try Truffle Fries everywhere we go, and hands down these were the best and most amazing!
We also had a flat bread with some BBQ Pork, deliscious! We should have stopped there. I had the bouillabaisse. I was a little scared when I saw this giant bowl arrive after I mowed down all the fries and flatbread, but it was SO good and nice and light. The Mr. had the wood-fired wagyu strip loin, it was fabulous but a lot! This is not one of those high end places where you get a tiny portion by any means. The desserts were fabulous as well.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been to Jory twice,We have been to Jory twice, each time to celebrate a birthday. The service is impeccable and the food is amazing! The menu changes are dependent upon what is local and fresh. We will definitely return!3/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
