"Good TeMex located in Arts District. All ingridents appeared to be fresh
very tasty. Only issue there was a large private party that had reserved
the inside tables. Fortantly it wasn't summer months, still pretty tough
first half hour with sun setting on you."

"A friend and I went again to Jorge's before a show at the Winspear. We had a 6 PM reservation and the restaurant was about half full. Again, like the last visit, the hostess led us to the very back small table for two near the rest room and the kitchen. Really? Again? There were a number of nicer tables. Not sure if this was because we were two women or what. This time we spoke up and were immediately taken to a much nicer table. Disappointed in the restaurant for treating us this way. Food was OK, service was OK."

"If you'e going to the Winspear, a good choice. I've had more authentic Tex-Mex at roadside places, but this was by no means "tourist food" as I had feared it would be, and the service was very accommodating and fast. Lowish prices too for generous portions. The salsa was very spicy ( OK by me but one of our party couldn't eat it). The guac is a must and we liked the chicken fajitas; fish tacos a bit bland Once again, not the very best I've ever had but if it's convenient to your plans, a good choice."
