Diner Reviews
  • "I can't remember having a better meal than this one at Jordan's. The steak, a Jackman steak, was enough for 2. And it was mouthwatering delicious. The service was friendly and first rate. We are anxious to return."

  • "The service was great, the food was great and the prices were reasonable. People may complain about the prices but it is a steakhouse not McDonalds. Well worth it."

  • "Hostess/owner was beyond friendly when we walked in the door. Ambiance is casual and pleasant, vibrant but not so noisy you can't speak to your party in a low voice. Our waiter Robert was knowledgeable regarding the food and the wine (nice selection) and very down to earth about both. Sprouts with bacon and goat cheese were fantastic, shoestring fries too. Wife had the petite Filet, and it is REALLY petite, though she loved it. My cowboy ribeye was a 9.9/10. Nice portion, perfectly charred, beautifully seasoned. No table salt or pepper required. Menu is limited ,and so is the seating so make a reservation. I hear the crab-cakes are exceptional. We'll be back for sure!"

  • "While the service was excellent, we found the food was just average. We get that Jordan's is a steakhouse, but there were few non-steak items on the menu. We had the Mahi & Chicken entrees and we're not impressed with either. The Mahi was over cooked and the chicken was average. The best part of the meal was the bananas foster desert. This was our first visit to Jordan's and more than likely our last."

  • "This was our second time dining at Jordan's, and everything was perfect. The staff is great, and the food is wonderful. We will keep going back!"

  • "We had driven by this restaurant many times and finally decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent as was the service. We tried the NY Strip (Very Good) and stuffed shrimp (Very Good). The tuna appetizer as amazingly fresh and the brussel sprouts we had with our meal were unique and very tasty. The atmosphere was very nice and a wonderful place to spend some time with my wife to close friends. A good place to entertain and we will be back again soon."

  • "Crab cake appetizer was excellent but pricey , Mahi dinner was well prepared"

  • "Food is very overpriced given only fair quality. Service was poor. Waiter never reappeared after taking order. Had to ask someone else for the check. So noisey we couldn't hear each other when speaking at a high volume. Owners seem very pleasant."

  • "Food was ok nothing special but the prices are absolutely too high !! 4 little pieces of bread and they didn't serve anymore of it."

  • "We were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional steaks we ordered. Tasty, Cooked to perfection and well worth the price. Our waiter was quite cordial and added to the enjoyment of our dining experience."

  • "Food and service was great. The only draw back is we had a table by the patio door and it slammed shut each time someone went in and out of it. The closer was not working, blam, blam, blam all throughout the meal. We use to go to Okeechobee Steak House for all our special occasions, after a few bad experiences there we are now in search of a new steak house. We will return as long as we are not seated by this door."

  • "wait staff has an attitude resulting in poor service, food overpriced especially based on quality and size of portions , drinks skimpy and overpriced."

  • "Think this spot is fine, beef was tasty, but very high prices. They comment about their local beef, but not sure Florida is known for its local beef. Thought our waiter was less than .... Something like simple request for salt and pepper he rolled his eyes and said fancy steak houses don't have salt and pepper on the table....."

  • "Service major negative - had to beg for bread. Server did not disclose $24 differential between menu's NY strip and prime special weighing two oz more. Couldn't find him for last half hour of dinner. The steak was promised served with very limited spice and good steaks need nothing except maybe salt. This steak was tender, probably was truly prime, but excessively impacted by the amount of salt, pepper, whatever else. If we returned we would insist on only salt. But poor service means returning is very unlikely. As Wellington is a community much in need of quality restaurants instead of just being home to every lowest level clone we had hopes, but the poor service dashed them."

  • "Extremely friendly owners and staff. Very nice pour on drinks and wine. Best crabcake I've ever had. Food portions were generous. Just a wonderful experience."

  • "Food was excellent. A little pricy, however quality was good. Service was excellent. Their biggest problem is another similar restaurant a few doors away with also excellent food, but more reasonable. I hope Jordan's survives, however they need to adjust their menu prices to reflect the competition."

  • "Have been to Jordan's twice in the last few weeks. Very consistent. Solid service (thanks John...and if memory serves Jose). Good food in a nice room (we ate indoors). The grilled Caesar was different and very good. Calamari was not exceptional..but good. It was carnivore night for us so paid up for the Jackman Ranch strip steak. Very good, well prepared and very pricey. Skirt Steak was delicious and a very good value. Some nice wines by the glass too. We will go back."

  • "Very nice little restaurant. Crab cakes by far the best in Florida. Refreshing to find a well thought out wine list not thrown together by Southern Wine. Proper portions and excellent quality. Good food done well, by friendly people. A local gem. I would say it's a must try. I can not imagine being disappointed unless that is your norm, this place is a really fresh and unexpected departure from the normal offerings in the Wellington area. Nice, refreshing change."

  • "Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Yvette is the quintessential Lovely and upscale ambience Very professional waitstaff is attentive but discreet The bartender mixes a mean drink! The onion soup was finally REAL onion soup! Petit filet was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection with beautiful presentation and the Jackman steak was worth every penny!! Tis was the first time my husband couldn't finish his steak! There was no salt and pepper on the table and once we took our first bite we knew why! Jordan is a first class chef! Although the wait for main entree a little extended, worth every minute. We all need to relax more and enjoy the music and time together for a great dining experience"

  • "This was my second time going to Jordans and completely satisfied. The steak was delicious and lobster was tender as could be. I highly recommend it and have told my friends how much I enjoyed this place. We plan on going there with a group of friends the next time."

  • "We have eaten at Jordan's on a few occasions and have always been pleased with our meals. The food is always well prepared, the service attentive and the setting relaxed. They easily accommodate changes (we added bleu cheese to our steaks). Very nice."

  • "have eaten here several times and found it to be good or very good each time. Menue prices for food are quite reasonable, but drink prices are overly expensive..."

  • "My 11 year old son would not stop going on about Jordan's. He had been there with his father. I took him there and was impressed with how welcoming they are. Jordan was on staff welcoming tables. The wait staff were dedicated to helping in selecting wines. The atmosphere was sophisticated and refined. There were a variety of choices on the menu. The food was good quality and the flavor was good but the food being excellent would've made this place an amazing spot."

  • "Visited twice over last 30 days. Waitstaff has improved and the kitchen was again on their game. Impressive wine list with thoughtful offerings. Owners are on site to insure everyone and every meal is spot on. They "work" the room checking each table and being helpful. Highly recommended for a fine meal w/ excellent service."

  • "The food here was great, as was the service.however, it was WAYYYY too pricey for the venue. It is located in a shopping center and the entire restaurant only has about 15 tables in it. I brought a new client to dinner and it was appropriate but wouldn't go back on my own for the price."

  • "We visited Jordan's on a quiet Monday night--our first visit to this newly opened restaurant in Wellington. A last minute decision to sit at the bar and watch football during our meal made our evening especially casual and enjoyable. Lovely co-owner Yvette charmed us with her gracious hospitality and was genuinely committed to making our first visit memorable. Her partner Jordan, in the kitchen, didn't disappoint. A wedge salad and gorgeous Oysters Rockefeller started us off, and a shared cowboy ribeye was New York steakhouse worthy. Delectable truffled spinach might have been a bit salty, but was a welcome pairing with steak and pommes frites. Friendly, enthusiastic service rounded out the experience. We'll be back, and SOON!"

  • "Just celebrated new years eve at Jorden's. We had a wonderful meal. Steaks cooked to perfection, great fries, and the best creamed spinach and truffles l've ever had. You know we will be returning, with friends too."

  • "The Oyster Rockefeller was very good, could have been a little warmer when served but great flavor. I had a petit fillet, it was very petit but again good flavor. My husband enjoyed the fillet special. It was very pricy, but he enjoyed it. Our server was very nice, but quickly got overwhelmed when several tables were filled at the same time. The chairs and tables were not comfortable."

  • "Jordan's is one of my husband's and my favorite neighborhood restaurant so when he wanted to celebrate his 83rd birthday, Jordan's was the first choice. We've always dined inside the restaurant, but this time we were seated at one of the outside tables. It was a balmy evening, the outside accommodation was perfect. Jordan's exels at steak and that is what we've always ordered when dining there. Based on that, I would say the other dinners are excellent, too. Staff is attentive without being intrusive. Jordan's is an outstanding local restaurant that we hope to visit many more times."

  • "When the bread basket arrived, I thought it was empty, had to search for the 4 little pieces of bread. My daughter had 2 little pieces, I had one and my husband had the last, which was one bite each. The mussels were overcooked and a very small portion, but had a delicious flavor. We have ordered tis in other upscale restaurants and receive double the amount. SKIMPY! The pomme frites were a joke. Ordered with truffle for $8...they fell apart in your hand and tasted like potato chips. Too little food for the price. I ordered the veggie burger, which had a vinegar taste and was so small...Duffy's black bean burger if far superior. Overall for our first and last time we were greatly disappointed."
