JoJo Restaurant and BarFun night outThis is not my first time at Jojo. We've taken large groups before. This particular evening though when we arrived it was different. I made a reservation for 10. I informed the person who seated us that the table was only set for 8. He reassured me that they'd add chairs but they never did. Finally one of my male friends asked again and we were moved across the room. Dinner was nice.
I've eaten at Jojo several times and the food was great, but this evening the food wasn't the best. Some meat was overcooked and the muscles we ordered were tough. As far as service our waitress was amazing! I can't remember her name but i almost always have her as a server and she's great. We will be returning! With a name like Jo Jo's I didn't expect such a nice quiet evening with the most delicious steak dinner I've had in a while (I don't eat red meat often). It an old town home that was tastefully made into a restaurant. The space is a little tight, but you still manager to feel like you're the only table. The service is very relaxed so if you're looking for a quick in-and-out this isn't the right place for you. This is one of those restaurants you go to dine, not eat. This place was recommended to me by a friend. The funny thing is I went with my mother who was visiting (it gave us some good time to catch up), but I thought to myself that this is somewhere I want to bring my special someone :).
