"Jo Jo's service was lovely and well presented. Cozy seating, but we expected that from reviews and seeing it is a sophisticated crowd, everone surrounding us had lovely manners. We started with the warm Asparagus (plump) Salad. Delicious. Surrounded in a hearty plate of salad mix with a lovely buttery french dressing. I ordered the Red Snapper, again, perfectly perpared, tender and filling. The topping of the fresh fish had a vareity of greens. My friend ordered the Duck medalions. Excellent, tender, mouth watering. We concluded our savory meal with the Warm Chocolate Cake, simply scrumtuous."

"Celebrating a milestone with my namesake spouse, and her mother and sister, was a delight at JoJo. The waitstaff were attentive and solicitous and the decor has the comfort of family dining room. The only challenge, common to many restaurants in Manhattan, is that taking one's seat is tricky given the proximity of tables to each other. I wouldn't say we were in the laps of those beside us, but the 8 inch gap between tables meant tablecloths were caught on clothing which dropped place settings on the floor. To have the staff tell us, "Don't worry. It happens all the time," left me momentarily speechless yet wondering, "Why don't you address the issue then?"
That said, our meal was delicious, and raining cutlery aside, our meal was lovely."

"Service as expected from a JG restaurant. Located on a lower level, darker than usual but the old French decor and furniture fits in with the atmosphere. Great lunch prix fixe menu with several choices. Cod was a bit overcooked as the entree though."
