In July 2007, New York welcomes Johnny Utah's, the urban cowboy experience, to Rockefeller Center. The Johnny Utah's experience begins with cuisine full of flavors & spices which embody the real meaning of Southwestern food. With hearty recipes of our cultural ancestors, Johnny Utah’s will offer a menu full of zesty Texan BBQ ribs, savory steak fajitas, & authentic Mexican tequila.

Almost every seat in the house has a view of the dining room’s main attraction, Manhattan’s only mechanical bull. Showcasing the full essence of the Southwestern theme, the beast is theatrically surrounded with cascading metal chains & burning candles that echo “rings of fire,” signifying the celebration of the icon. The interior was designed as an interpretation of an old western mining shaft with salvaged antique tiles & pony-hide furniture. Johnny Utah’s is sure to serve as an ideal location for both delicious Southwestern food & drinks, & late night reveling & bull riding.

  • "I've been to Johnny Utah's in the past and it's not a bad place but this visit we didn't have such a great time. The hostess was on the phone when we arrive and didn't even give the courtesy "one moment" signal and talked away for at least 2 more minutes. We were then seated and it took time to get water and menus. However what made this evening a no-go was that soon after we got the menus it felt as if not only the heat went out but a door was open or the AC was on! It got cold and breezy. We looked at the table to the left full of guys and they all started pulling on hoodies so we knew it wasn't just us. We asked the waiter if we could move and was told it was cold everywhere. We left. I was not staying to eat in my coat."

  • "the restaurant has a terrific ambiance we enjoyed the entertainment other customers provided riding the bull. We ordered ribs and steak but they were out. their soft drink selection was very limited. The waitress was too busy and only came to our table once. we ordered margaritas and they were like soft drinks we had to send them back. if you want to have a drink and have fun with a mechanical bull this is the place not otherwise"

  • "Made reservations here as location close to Radio City Music Hall. Saw the 2 pm show + had time to walk around Rockefeller Center = St. Patrick's, storefronts + tree etc. Waked to entrance + had to go down the steep long flight of stairs to be told about the elevator in hotel next door! I had to climb up the stairs to go with my friends to hotel to go down to restaurant. My reservation advised restaurant handicapped patron included in my party. Feel a note about the hotels elevator should have bee included in my reminder e mail...also restaurant should put on their website."

  • "I regret spending even ten minutes at this location. This was the worst restaurant I have ever experienced. While I do understand that this is a tourist attraction, it should not prevent the company from providing a good experience. The food was nothing special. While making the reservation, I was never informed that we were only allowed to stay in our table for 2 hours, and while this does not sound that bad...it took about 1/2 hour to get drinks from the worst service member I had the displeasure to know. She rarely showed up to the table, made us feel like we were Inconveniencing her. My friend had a happy hour margarita, and when I told her there was no tequila, our waitress said, what do you expect? Worst experience EVER"
