Some of the other noteworthy steak houses in the area had prime rib only on certain days. We wanted prime rib on a Saturday. Special occasions like that deserve a special restaurant. Johnny's is typically the first restaurant that comes to mind for these. The food was delicious, served timely, and with a friendly smile. The manager stopped by to see how our dinner was. We didn't use all $100.00 and were taken aback that we couldn't get another certificate for the remaining money since our FOOD portion only cost 84.00. We were told we could get something "TO GO" to use up the remaining money. With the tip we left and having to pay cash for the 2 drinks, the restaurant made a free 15.00, which was what was left on our certificate. Money is money and I don't see why our certificate couldn't be used for our total meal. He knew we were excited to be there. Our meals were incredible! In our party we had filet mignon, prime rib, delmonico with onion sauce, and surf and turf. Each meal was prepared perfectly. Our shrimp appetizer was delicious as well. We also tried the crab cake as an appetizer and were very happy to devour it. Our overall experience was amazing!
