Kimberly, our server, was thoughtful and knowledgeable, noting at the beginning that there were only a few orders of braised beef left. The Pork Belly small plate was like eating a Northern Michigan winter morning, smoky, sweet and just a little bit fatty. The braised beef, which I was lucky enough to snap up, was done perfectly, and the greens, slightly spicy balanced out the deep warm flavors of the beef, potatoes and jus. At Kimberly's suggestion we had the lemon curd for dessert, and we were not disappointed.
