"John Bentley's is the best. I eat for adventure and this is the place. He has something new and exciting everytime. We did a Duck Confit Scallop dish that was great. We arn't duck confit people but it was the best ever. The Grilled watermelon crab avacado is my favorite. I wish he would do his oysters with rice wine vinegar,tasty ginger,onion....and more that is so good. Steaks have a sauce that you lick the plate for. Deserts his berry bake thing is amazing."

"Had lunch here with a friend. We wanted a quiet place so we could talk. The noise level was better than most restaurants for lunch. We ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad. It was EXCEPTIONAL. Not tons of stuff in it but the taste was fantastic. It's a definite "do-over" for us!!!"

"The food was really good...excellent salad and I had the seasonal fish. My husband always has the hangar steak and was happy again.
I cannot say enough about the woman who served us. She was great -- attentive, but not intrusive, made sure my husbands meal had no garlic, and she had a gentile sense of humor."

"Came on a whim and was mostly impressed. Host was gracious, service very attentive without being pushy. Fresh mozzarella with heirloom tomatoe and shrimp was a perfect start, bread was a soft centre with a crispy shell, and dessert (apple tart) was nothing short of amazing... But took a while which I wish we were warned about. Both salmon and my husbands steak were a bit overcooked and dry- was expecting better for the price. Will be back- but will stick with salad and dessert!"

"Good food and service, but somewhat noisy if you are sitting close to the very active bar. Be sure to reserve a larger table in the half of the restaurant away from the bar. Prices are somewhat on the high side, especially given the bar, small tables, and El Camino location."
