1. We sat at a table immediately inside the door to the restaurant. So, it was noisy and had lots of traffic. Would have much preferred sitting away from the entrance.

Though not large, the wine list contained many quite good selections. Everything tasted scrumptious, and it was a memorable birthday celebration for my wife. The wait-staff was prompt and attentive and the ambiance was the kind of quiet elegance I associate with fine dining.
I started with the pressed duck with mango salsa. It was incredible! My lady friend chose white prawns over baby arugula. She was likewise pleased by her selection.
For entrees, my companion had the broiled Shetland Island salmon. She especially liked the unusual toppings. I went for the double-cut pork chop. It was huge, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. It was served with an awesome apricot-cherry chutney.
We both topped off our meal with the sticky toffee pudding cake and a very good cup of coffee. Altogether a great meal!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways amazing!We're never disappointed! Grilled watermelon, dungeness crab, avocado, and jicama: a nice blend.
The special, lamb chops served with roasted garlic mash, and haricot verts. Superb lamb, very tender, outstanding taste.
Grilled and marinated rib eye steak, roasted garlic mash, broccolini, Gorgonzola Cabernet demi glace. Superb sauce, tender tasty steak that pretty much melted in our mouths. On both dishes, the garlic mash was a very nice accompaniment.
And, the best for last, sticky toffee pudding cake, caramel gelato, chocolate sauce. Food here is very good and service is friendly and efficient.
