Although Joey Gerard’s may not include all of the interior elements typically found in a classic supper club, guests will enjoy many nostalgic features with a modern spin. The interior of Joey Gerard’s includes a warm and comfortable atmosphere with high vaulted ceilings, textured wallpaper, plantation window blinds, patterned drapes, tropical green leaf carpet, large period light fixtures and lamps, plush black leather booths and black and white photos of people enjoying themselves in restaurants and bars from late 50s and early 60s.
The vibe at Joey Gerard’s embraces a casual, family-dining experience. Combining classic supper club menu options, value-oriented specials, classic cocktails and ice cream drinks make Joey Gerard’s the perfect community gathering place.

We visited Joey Gerard's for dinner. From service to food, everything was very impressive! Our table of 4 ordered filet mignon, trout, liver and a vegetarian dish. The filet was very high quality and cooked to perfection, trout dish was very tender and salt free per our request, liver was melt in your mouth delicious (over freshly mashed potatoes & two slabs of bacon) and veg dish of seasonal stuffed squash and very creative/tasty. Service was highly attentive and accommodating to all of our requests - from seating staff to wait staff to chef - superb response. It was our first visit and we will certainly be back! Can't wait to try the happy hour specials at the bar, as well as the lunch and brunch offerings. YUM!

The food was excellent, however, we were a tad disappointed that once we sat down, pretty much all of the fish fry was gone including the lobster. We came to the restaurant specifically for these items, so we ended up spending way more than we wanted to since we had to find alternate meals. I have to say I was very disappointed in the seating timeframe, I made a reservation online through open table for 7 pm, and we go there before 7 but had to wait 30 minutes before we got our table. I asked the hostess twice how long it it would take and she wouldn't tell me, she just said there was 2 tables ahead of me. I don't get what the point of making a reservation was if we had to wait so long! The second time I asked, she finally sat us.

This was our 4th time visiting Joey Gerard's. Once again excellent food. My only critique was the speed of the service. Meal took 2.5 hrs from when we sat down til when we left. At that type of restaurant I expect to be there 1.5-2 hrs but thought this was a little excessive. Noticeable lags between drink order and meal order, between courses etc. Overall, very good meal and dining experience. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Even had Joe Bartolotta greet us at the table. Love this place.

My favorite place has deteriorated. The waitress forgot to place our appetizer order. We had to tell her twice what we ordered for dinner because she could not remember it. We waited 20+ min for the appetizer, 30+ min more for dinner. She did try to compensate & gave us a 2nd round of drinks and dessert free. Outside patio needs more lighting other than to 2 lights by the door. They ran out of my wife's first entrée choice. It was the Sunday Special. And worst of all, they discontinued my favorite item, Shrimp DeJonghe. After this experience, I won't be returning until they bring it back. At a quality restaurant like Joey Gerards, I expect different silverware for each course. That did not happen either.

I took my sister to dinner at Joey Gerards on Sunday night for her birthday. We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer followed by the petite filet's and stuffed potatoes. The steaks were prepared perfectly and were melt in your mouth delicious. The service was exceptional. I would return to Joey Gerards in a heartbeat!

We had rec'd a gift card for this restaurant and decided to go on a Sunday night, Labor Day weekend... it was pretty easy to get in, I was pleased. Our server Amanda was excellent, attentive and very helpful with question I had about a couple menu choices. We ordered the Joey's Kabob and Petite Filet, both had very tender choices of meat. The mashed potatoes were fabulous. The cauliflower not so much. But overall a very tasty meal. And we love their fresh bread they serve. This was our 2nd time here, I would definitely recommend this place and return again.

Went to Joey Gerard's because I did receive a coupon for my birthday. I am glad I did. I have always had great experiences at the Bartolotta restaurants and this was another one. I had the veal and it was done exceptionally well. My husband ordered the Rib eye. Only complaint is that a supper club/steak restaurant didn't knokw what Pittsburg style was. He did get his steak done very rare, but it should have been seared/charred on the outside. He didn't complain as the steak was done a way he likes it and had great flavor. I would recommend this place for a nice evening out or special occasion as it is a little more pricey.

We are frequent customers of Joey Gerards. We've always had outstanding food and service, however on our last visit our waiter provided us with poor service. When one of us would walk to the restroom we'd find out server at the bar watching the Packer game. It was quite awhile for our plates to be cleared from our table and we were offered a dessert menu. We all wanted to order dessert, but it was about 15 minutes between dropping off the menu and coming back to ask if we wanted anything. We decided to go elsewhere. And as we left, our server was once again at the bar watching the Packer game. Disappointed.

We came to celebrate our anniversary. We were welcomed warmly and wanted to sit at the bar for a drink before dinner. The 2 bartenders were funny, engaging and informative. After our drink we sat down and our waiter, Jeighson, was a delight. He was great and informative about menu items. We would definitely come back because of him. The food was delicious! Steaks cooked perfectly, sides simple but at the same time, special. We will spread the word! Thanks for a great dining experience!

My wife and I celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary with a dinner at Joey Gerard's. We started with a drink in the bar, enjoying the Happy Hour special Brandy Alexander and a vodka gimlet. Scott mixed wonderful drinks and served us with friendly courtesy. After our drinks, we asked to be seated on the patio and we enjoyed the quiet and scenic view. Our server, Carissa, was friendly and attentive and allowed us to take our time selecting our meals and ordering. The rolls were warm and delicious and the relish tray was fresh and crispy. We ordered the French Onion and Spiced Carrot soups and both were excellent. Our entrees, Rainbow Trout Almondine and Braised Short Ribs were done to perfection. Both were flavorful and presented well. WOW!!

The steak was awesome but the service was horrid. We waited an extremely long time for the meal itself. Our food was brought out to us in visible view and sat for a few minutes before it was served to us because waitress was not present. After our plates were taken from the table it was another 15 minutes before we were asked if we wanted dessert. Not the waitresses fault, more staff needs to be hired if you want a satisfied customer and offer a pleasant dining experience.

When I made my reservation on Open Table, I asked for a patio table. Being an open table VIP, there is no excuse for not saving a patio table for me. Freezing inside the restaurant. Kat was our server. She was basically good except that she would linger at the tables around us chatting which delayed her service throughout our meal. We waited quite a long time for her to come and take our order. I asked for my filet to be cooked medium, it was medium well. When I told this to Kat, she did ask me if I wanted them to make me another but I didn't want the other person at my table to have to wait. Hostesses also were not very friendly.

I had chicken marsala which was delicious. I loved it. My husband had the fish fry which was also delicious. The wine was good, we were too full for desert though. I will be back, very very nice.

We made a 5:15 reservation on a Friday night but I'm not quite sure why as we ended up waiting 15 minutes to get seated when we arrived at 5:15. When looking at the menu we could not believe the prices. We thought it was a little bit ridiculous to charge 8.95 for a small house salad to order with your steak dinner which was already extremely pricey! Our bill for two people ended up t be over 100 dollars with no frills at all. On top of the over the top price, the sirloin I ordered for 24 dollars was tough and chewy; so tough I couldn't even finish it. Would never return here or would never recommend to friends!

I ordered the T-Bone, expecting a super steak, especially for the price. Received an overcooked steak that was only so-so for flavor and taste. The baked potato was good, but not hot. There were 4 people in our group, everyone had ordered something different. All the meals were good, but not special. The presentation on the platters were ordinary.

Food was good but unfortunately will probably never return. Arrived on time for dinner reservation- still had to wait- for what not sure because when we were seated we were the only ones in the dining room- poor management. Place was extremely cold- asked to have temp turned up a bit- waiter turned up one degree. Music was blaring- again we were only ones in the room. We were seated by a waiters station- so our table and the waiters were within a very small vicinity- again only ones in the room= food was very good but given the poor environment we will unfortunately probably never return.

My wife and I dine out a lot. Taking our daughter out for a final nice dinner before she moves to North Carolina, we decided to go to a reputable Bartollota's resturant. Although the service was friendly and helpful, the food was very subpar. My daughter's salmon was dry, my wife's perch was balnd and also very dry. My son's potaoes were cold. The food left something to be desired. I expected a lot more coming to a Bartolotta's. I will probabaly not visit this establishment again.
