  • "I will be forgiving since we did dine at Joes in Las Vegas when the broadcaster's convention (90,000 strong) was in town so the place was extremely busy and loud and hectic. However, when you pay over $200 for dinner for two you do expect the food to be outstanding even if the service is a little less than satisfactory. My husband's filet mignon was charred and dry with no flavor and the lobster was tough. The rest of our food was good but honestly we had rib eyes at the Marriott airport in Atlanta the night before our flight to Vegas that were better than the one I got at Joe's. our waiter was friendly band attempted to do a good job but just couldn't keep up with all his tables very well. Will not go again! Too many choices in Vegas!!!!!!"

  • "You need to try the stone crabs!! They were the best I've ever had and I grew up in Miami eating at Joe's several times a year. The steaks were also amazing as were the sides. The waiters were very attentive and there when you needed them but didn't overdue it. The ambiance wa s superb. Honestly, every facet of the dining experience was amazing. It's a little pricey but most definitely worth it!!"

  • "It was uh...ok. Nothing to write home about. The waiter even said sorry to me when he gave me the check. Maybe there is just something about having to wait 20-45 minutes in Miami that makes the experience more special. It was passable but if I didn't LOVE Stone Crabs I would go elsewhere."

  • "The food was very good and the service was excellent. We had never had stone crab before and wanted to make sure our experience was complete. Our server took the time to explain the menu and offered excellent suggestions. The only part that was bad was my wife recovered my filet which was medium and I was given her filet which was med rare. The steaks were delicious though and so was the roasted tomatoes with cheese and cream spinach."

  • "It was a special birthday dinner. We made our on-line reservation through Open Table, and, ironically that was the most difficult part. The reservation went through OK but we wanted a "Dinner" time slot and the Open Table site led us to a 4:30 p.m. time and the dining room doesn't open until 5:00. The restaurant called us, anticipating that we wanted to make a dinner reservation, and the reservation was switched to 5:00. The Host when we got to the restaurant inferred that this was not the first time. I suggest that the on-line reservation page be modified to address this. Food was wonderful, Leanne was charming and our busser was playful and engaging. Overall it was a memorable experience."

The great seafood salad we usually get was soggy and the seafood in it not like usual. The halibut "t-bone" was very good. Not sure what was up."

  • "Every time I go to Joe's I find myself claiming it's one of the best meals in Vegas. It has consistently met my expectations for a high-end meal before a big night out and is great for a big celebration (my birthday). Every dish ordered was delicious - the stone crab is always fresh and tender, steaks and other entrees are cooked and seasoned perfectly, the sides always amaze and the desserts are sinfully good. Like the rest of Vegas' high-end establishments, it is not cheap, but that is to be assumed and something you should be planning for when you want a delicious experience in Vegas. The ambience is elegant steak-house, and the service is courteous and attentive - nothing to blow you away, but you're there for the amazing food."

  • "We tend to visit Joe's about once a month and always have a good experience. I decided to try the Halibut for a change and was not impressed. Definitely would not suggest ordering this meal! Our waiter never asked about my meal and didn't feel like complaining to him. Everything else was great, calamari, salad and of course the Coconut Cream pie! Service is always excellent and everyone else enjoyed their meal as usual, Halibut just is not one of their strong points. I have enjoyed many meals at Joe's and always recommend it to friends on the strip. Very consistent meals, great service and excellent desserts...most important part!"

  • "I always make a stop at Joe's when I visit Vegas. Their lunch special called classics is a great deal Monday through Friday. It is a complete meal and we add an order of large stone crab claws and drinks. Cannot go wrong since it is enough for two. The mustard sauce is awesome as well as the banana cream pie. Great food and great service makes Joe's very special!"

  • "Upside: It was hard to choose what to order with such a fantastic menu. I settled on the 22 ounce lobster tail and I was not disappointed. This lobster was cooked to perfection, not rubbery on inconsistent as you might find at times in other fine restaurants. The butter was addictive, whipped perhaps, they do something others don't. It works. Downside: The host and waitstaff were not friendly and not attentive. It was disappointing for this caliber of a restaurant. Inexcusable."

  • "Six of us ate here on a recent trip to Vegas. We were whisked to our table and told the waiter we wanted to dine "family style", and to take care of everything. Our meal began with crab legs, followed by lobster claws and prawns - all very fresh and delicious. We also had perfect steaks (sliced for sharing) and the most delicious sides to round off the meal. Food, wine, and service (never intrusive, highly efficient) were absolutely outstanding, and it was our favourite meal in Vegas. I highly recommend Joe's!!"

She started off with stone crab claws, all were delicious. My wife really enjoyed the asparagus as well. It is a little pricey for my liking however I have to say for a special occasion that was fine. Staff was on top of everything, very professional."

  • "We had a reservation for 8:00. Seated at 8:45. Ordered crab cakes, stone crabs and crab stuffed shrimp. The shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. Crab cake was delicious as well as the stone crab. If we didn't have to wait for 45 minutes for our 8:00 reservation, it would have changed the whole experience. Our waiter was great and had great suggestions!"
