A little hard to find but the Joes golf cart roaming around picked us up and took us right to the front door. We had the prime rib quesadilla and calamari to start. The chicken pot pie, kobe burger, prime rib and ribs for dinner and finally the vanilla banana creme brulee and kona mud pie for dessert. Everything was extremely good and the drinks were sooooooooo tasty. Service was excellent. We highly recommend and we will return! We love the comfort food feel of several of the menu's entrees, as they provide a nice change from the typical Wailea restaurant menu. Salads are large, fresh and incredibly tasty. Loved it so much we went twice !! Service is top notch as is the food. The meatloaf is like no other and that's a good thing. Hubby had the prime rib, both times, and said it was the best he had eaten in a long time. We will definitely go when we return to Maui and highly recommend to others. It's a relaxing place with a beautiful view and awesome menu. Can be tricky to find but if you park in the parking lot across from the tennis courts, someone from Joe's will be along every few minutes to give you a ride down on a golf cart. Go! You'll be glad you did.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMDon't Miss ItWe loved it and are hoping to return before we leave Maui. I had the meatloaf which was fabulous. Not your mama's meatloaf, either. The sauce on this meatloaf is soooo good! Hubby had the prime rib and told me it is the best he has tasted in a long time. We took a piece of chocolate macadamia nut pie back to our room because we were stuffed and ate it the next night. It was outstanding. Our server, whose name was Jed, I think, was the best! What a friendly, relaxing place to dine. Love the decor. Louis (or maybe Lewis) picked us up and dropped us off at our car and we appreciated the golf cart ride cuz we were not sure where we were headed at first. All in all, a wonderful meal. We had the calamari and shrimp bruschetta to start. Followed by the beet salad and the wedge. For dinner we had the chicken and waffles and the pork Milanese. Everything was amazing! We were stuffed and still had leftovers. Versus other places in Wailea were you still leave hungry. Joes definitely knows how to give the portions for the price you pay! We were four and not one of us finished our entree. Quality was good just too much food. It was a little more upscale than we expected from a place called Joe's Bar in the clubhouse of a tennis club. The food and service were outstanding. I had the BBQ ribs and my wife had the daily catch. Both were well prepared. Two cocktails, an app, two entrees, and two desserts were $128 before the tip. We've spent more at other restaurants that weren't this good.

While you can get a burger and I'm sure it would be outstanding, with all the other amazing choices I don't know why you would. I had the fish special which was out of this world and my husband had the lamb which he was very happy with. Portion sizes are normal which is a nice change and their focus on quality is apparent. It was a bit of an older crowd when we were there - not the young, hip vibe of Monkeypod - but I would highly, highly recommend this place. Hubby ordered Parmesan crusted pork which was a little disappointing. He was expecting a chop but it was a cutlet. We checked the menu and it didn't say either, so we should have asked. It is a casual fun restaurant that is great for anyone. My husband had a great martini that was served in a glass vase that held ice and kept it extra cold. We split a wonderful shrimp cocktail and the rolls were warm and great. I had the ribs which were great served with steak fries and my husband had the meat loaf that he said was really good. We aren't really big eaters and the portions were huge so we would probably split an entree the next time we eat at Joe's. The service was good but the real high-light was having the owner Bev Gannon come by our table for a few minutes. She was gracious and stopped at all of the tables.

It came with mashed potatoes which normally i don't eat but forgot to tell them to leave them off. My partner ate some of them and said they were some of the best he has every eaten. We shared some ahi carpaccio and it was delicious. Service was good not great. I didn't induldge in dessert so can't comment on it. It is a casual atmosphere. The red wine came room temperature which was disappointing after having eaten at the sister property and it came perfect. Our server when asked brought us a wine chiller and again when asked brought us red wine glasses.
