Diner Reviews
  • "You will never, ever be disappointed in Joel Robuchon. The dining is consistently THE BEST in a city filled with terrific restaurants. Literally, my favorite restaurant on planet Earth."

  • "With a very relaxed atmosphere, the chefs, staff, and Sommelier at Joel Robuchon delivered on all aspects. In direct comparison to Guy Savoy, the food was better (just as refined but more comforting) and the plating was spectacular (attention to detail, hand drawn designs and unique plates for each dish). The atmosphere is much more relaxed and the staff is friendlier and more approachable. The Sommelier recommended some great vintage wines for our meal and my guests were all very pleased. Overall, best restaurant experience in Vegas! Perfect for small groups, but they also have a larger private dining area. The bread cart alone was worth the trip! Wonderful place for both business and pleasure. Thank you all for a wonderful evening."

  • "Outstanding service and great team of waiters. Impressive bread cart and dessert cart. 4 of us did the 16 Course Tasting Menu. Sea food was really disappointing. Both the cod and scallop were supposed to be seared/caramelized. There was no crust on the scallop. 3 were over cooked to the point of rubbery and 1 was undercooked with pink inside. The cod was not caramelized and was over cooked and felt tough. I have dined at other Joel Robuchon restaurants in Singapore and Taiwan but the Las Vegas location is not up to par. I don't know if it was a late Sunday night reservation (9:15 PM) or problem with the chef running the line having an off night but we were disappointed in our experience."

  • "Lovely food great and ambience just a bit pricey I think They need to be a bit more realistic with the pricing."

  • "I like how they give the diners the freedom to choose whatever you like instead of 1 table getting the same kind of menu or chefs tasting. So yes, if you prefer getting a main course while the other party at your table is getting 11 courses so you can pick on theirs then you're allowed; different than Melisse & Providence. I'm giving this a 4 star because I was famish upon our arrival and was experiencing hunger pains. The service of just giving us a menu took too long. Not all of the dishes we received were delicious, I'd expect that from a 3 Michelin star restaurant. Everyone will have different experiences."

  • "Joel Robuchon is a unique dining experience. From the bread cart to the candy cart. One of the most extensive wine lists I have had the pleasure of browsing. However, they are expensive but I understand the cost of having to maintain such a list. The plate ware is the most impressive anywhere in the United States bar none! Although the service is impeccable it lacks emotion. The food is always creative and plentiful. I have always had the tasting menu so 16 plus dishes is always a pleasurable challenge. Because of the name recognition and cost, you expect a homerun every time. And unfortunately it is not always the case. To be fair I have had several "home run" dinners but this trip was not."

  • "We tried the 15-course tasting and it was a culinary experience. A variety of perfectly prepared and beautifully plated food was presented to us. A wonderful experience! Very expensive but worth trying if you're a foodie."

  • "Food & service were both top notch. Definitely recommend for a special dinner. It is expensive, but worth it if you love food."

  • "Went with the $168 tasting. It was wonderful, and the service is exemplary. Be aware that the $168 menu changes. In that, we had walked by the restaurant the day before (a Thursday) and the $168 included 2 appetizers. Our reservation was for the next day, and when we got there on a Friday it only included 1 appetizer. It was great nonetheless, and will be back for a more extensive tasting next time."

  • "Joel Robouchon at the MGM is the epitome of fine dining. The food is excellent the service is impeccable and worth every penny you pay for. I have been to many fine dining establishments on The Strip, most have snooty servers who pretend they are experts in the cuisine they serve. It must also be said that a visit to Joel Robouchon goes beyond eating a fine meal. Time spent at this fine establishment, from the flawless execution of the folks at the back of the house, to the hospitality extend by the staff in front, make up for a memorable experience you can surely write home about."

  • "Overall, amazing experience. We did the 6-course menu (instead of the 15-course tasting) and were stuffed upon leaving. Their bread cart, cheese cart and dessert cart were all incredible. The experience compares to that of top NYC and Chicago restaurants. As an added plus, you should call the restaurant and ask for complimentary limo pick-up - not because it's fun to ride in a limo, but because they take you to the back entrance of the MGM (private villa entrance) and it's a beautiful stroll through a garden to the restaurant - a must do."

  • "Amazing meal & wonderful service that I fully enjoyed! We walked out elated. Everything was good, I just don't think it was worth the almost $1000 cost for one meal for 2 people."

  • "A restaurant that pleases our discriminating palate. For special occasions, but definitely for fine dining aficianado"s . Tasting menu paired with wine is the preferred option. Go Big or Go Home. Cuisine from France esteemed Gault Millau restaurant guide "Chef of the Century is stellar. One can get lost in the amazing bread and migdarnises carts. Every course is uniquely Joel Robuchon. Presentation of each course enhances the exceptional cuisine. If you opt for the meal of your life, splurge. If you are a fine dining aficionado, make repeat visits. Service is unmatched, impeccable and stellar. You will spend big bucks - but WELL worth it."

  • "Great bread selection and excellent service but the food fell below expectation. For the most part, all servings were cool & sauces appeared sticky. Steak was tough & stringy as was the veal! Souffle' was excellent. Not a keeper. Twist was better."

  • "What a terrific meal! Great service. You could just dine on the bread cart alone. Highly recommend."

  • "Everything you've heard about Joel Robuchon is true. It's a spectacular dining experience and extraordinary food. Everything we ate had a surprising twist or unique flavor that we struggled to identify. This was an awesome meal that won't ever be repeated by any other chef."

  • "A truly unique dining experience unlike any other we're had, but also somewhat a let down given the obscene cost and hype. Much about the experience is more interesting than it is delicious or fun. The space was eerily quiet. The service was spectacular - they do know how to take care of their guests. I'm not sorry we went, and glad for the experience, but I'm not sure we'll ever go back."

  • "It was extraordinary! We came to Las Vegas specifically to celebrate or 56th anniversary at Joel Robuchon's. The chef and staff delivered on our every expectation. Each dish was unique and exceptional in taste and presentation. The caviar was to die for and the veal was the best I have ever had. Be careful not to enjoy the breads too much. One could have an entire meal on the huge selection of wonderful examples of French breads. The servers were efficient, unobtrusive, and very attentive. To top it off, the pastry chef prepared a sampling of deserts presented on a beautiful plate with "Happy Anniversary" written by hand in a very delicate scroll."

  • "Most of our group chose the 15 course tasting menu which was simply amazing. It was one of the finest dining experiences I have ever had. The skill level required for creating each and every dish was outstanding and fabulous ingredients were delectable. The wine list was one of the finest we have ever seen. "

  • "Best meal of my life! Service A+ Starting with a dazzling bread cart with about 25 selections of bread, a cheese cart with about 20 choices amazing entrees and appetizers in between and finishing with a dessert cart with around 50 choices. The only improvement I'd make is somehow separating the entrance/exit it from the MGM hotel lobby.."

  • "Dined at Joel Robuchon with my wife last weekend. She was looking for a fine dining experience and we found just that. The restaraunt was a bit too quiet with not a whole lot going on as far as atmosphere. It was decorated nicely but any conversation could be heard by the next table since it was that quiet. The wine list is extensive, to say the least, and there was plenty to choose from on the menu. As expected, the portion sizes are on the small side so don't expect to be full when you leave. The food however was delicious and was nice to experience foods you usual can't get elsewhere. Also, be prepared for a big bill. We each had the four course meal with a couple glasses of wine (I had a couple beers) and the bill totaled $700."

  • "This food tasted so good. The presentation was fabulous even extraordinary. The price for two of us with the tasting menu, cocktails and tip was $1240 way beyond our expectations. We're glad we did it but wouldn't do it again."

  • "My wife and I have the 16 course tasting menue about every other year. We liked the ride in the lemo to the Residence but we loved the return trip back to our hotel in the Rolls. The wine was outstanding, the food was great and the service was as expected. This was our third visit and we saw many friendly faces in the wait staff and got to talk to the waiter who served us on our first visit about 4 years ago. If you have a bucket list of places to eat before you die this should be on the list. Please do not stuff yourself on the great breads and butter or you will not have room for the cheeses which make the meal that much better."

  • "I called in the reservation (sorry open table) as I wanted a special location at Le Atteliere. I added one to the party last minute and the confirmation came from open table. What I didn't see was we were now I the Joel Robuchon side of the two eateries. Although the change provided an unbelievable meal from the start the finish and left no question of the talent and creativity of the chef there was a considerable price to pay. But honestly it was one of the, if not the, best mistake reservations ever. The suckling pig was out of this world as were the lobster ravioli. Many small plates made this a fantastic four hour culinary delight. From the first bite to the last fantastic!!!"

  • "This was a poor experience. We had eaten at the Ledbury (London) a fortnight earlier where the ambiance, service and food were much much better. We have eaten in great restaurants around the world. This is pretentious and just not that good. The famed mashed potato is just slimy. The mignardises were excellent."

  • "As someone who has "fine dine-d" all over the world. I am not easily impressed. Joel R was one of my top 5 dining experiences ever! We had the 16 course meal with the Grand Cru wine pairing. The food was impeccable, the wine stunning, and the service beyond reproach. It is a pricey proposition, but in my view worth it. The meal was $500 a person and the wine $1000 per person. There are lesser course options but a couple is not, even without drinking, getting out of there for less than $300. Regardless, it is a bucket list restaurant and I would HIGHLY recommend it for anyone who is passionate about food and/or wine. Joel R is a genius!"
