First was Michael, soon replaced by Justin. They were both excellent. When I ordered a manhattan cocktail, Michael immediately suggested Makers Mark which made the drink outstanding. He then suggested the ceasar's salad mixed at the table which was performed by Justin. It was great. Our steaks melted on our collective palates. Our table overlooked the river. Everything was very memorable. Justin took our picture with my cell phone which, also, like everything else, turned out great. We had dinned here before with always a fine feeling. This time we had a table near the fireplace. Crusty Italian bread was served with a vegetable relish instead of butter. Their salad is my daughter's favorite. We have been to this restaurant many times and really enjoy the food. But we did notice some changes in the menu. We have a favorite appetizer (Suppli Alla Romano) that is no longer available, so that was a bummer. But we did see it on the other Andiamo locations menus online, which we thought was sort of strange. But other than that, everyone was satisfied with their meal and the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding! We each ordered a Caesar salad before dinner, and it was very good! The portions are large, and I didn't finish my steak, but my husband and brother finished theirs. My sister-n-law ordered the seafood pasta dish and she enjoyed it very much. Our server, Michael, was very attentive and did a nice job. A bit pricy...but you don't find this quality at other "Italian" restaurants. Great place for special occasions. Bring your appetite and save room for dessert. The whipped lobster mashed potatoes are the absolute BEST potatoes my husband and I have ever eaten. The steak was cooked perfect and was a very large cut, very lean & tender.
