Buffet was uninspiring and many
dishes were luke-warm. Not many healthy selections. I wouldn't go back."

This restaurant is our choice for
birthday celebrations. We were mildly disappointed on this occasion that there was a restricted menu and a buffet as a result if a concert at the Acc but the food we had turned out to be delicious. We like to sit at the front of the restaurant where it is more intimate. They accommodated our party of 8. We had some choosy eaters who were also given additional options. We all agreed the food was wonderful. The wine selection is very good but expensive. They are great at dealing with allergies."
Dined on 3/9/2014
We absolutely loved the insalata
sana and the penne pollo aglio olio! The bread was plentiful and warm which was good because the kitchen was backed up due to the number of patrons attending the concert that evening."

Two friends and I ate here on the
evening of February 26, 2013, the night that we were going to the King's of Leon concert at the Air Canada Centre. We were seated at the back of the restaurant at a table where a wooden partition had been placed between two halves of a larger table. Strange. Our server was unenthusiastic and very slow to serve us. She got my friend's order incorrect and I heard another table claim they hadn't received their soup. Not once did she come to check on us after our meals were served by other staff. She was slow to bring us the bill even after asking us if we wanted coffee/tea/dessert. The food was very tasty and the wine to expectations. I would eat there on a slow night as they can't handle volume."

My caprese pizza was awful and the
music was far too loud. It interfered with our conversation."
Dined on 2/21/2014
Food was tasty and well presented,
good portion sizes, but service was very slow, especially given that it wasn't that busy, and that left a bad impression on my guests and I. Have been other times though and didn't have this problem so hopefully it was just a fluke."
Dined on 2/20/2014
Food wasn't very good. Pasta over
cooked. Red sauce was bland. Not very good Italian food at all."
Dined on 2/8/2014
Food was good. Had a Caesar salad
to start, wild boar lasagna for my main and a pear tartlet for dessert. We were there early and the foods came with little wait."
Dined on 2/7/2014
We have dined here many times and
have never been disappointed. It is so convenient to the Conferences and Concerts at ACC. Waiters are great and the food is excellent. I love being able to make on line reservations for Open Table Thanks Connie and Honey Belleville On"

These days it is hard to find a
restaurant that has both - if the food is great, the service tends to be subpar (and vice-versa). Joe Badali's gave us the best of both. Everything from the appetizers, to the main course was fantastic! The staff are so friendly, you would think you had known them for years. Will be returning here again!"

I returned with a group of
co-workers (we were 8) all visiting Toronto. The bar had a group function going on and was packed. We were seated (ahead of schedule which was appreciated) and had a table in an out of the way corner that was great. Our server, Mitch, did an excellent job of making our evening enjoyable and seeing that we never wanted for anything. The food is always good (the squash soup special was amazing!) and the prices very reasonable for the quality and experience. We all had a very enjoyable evening! We'll be back again."

From the welcome at the door,
through the service and food and farewell, it was another pleasurable dining experience. Good selection of beer and wine. Great appetizers (the arancini and the grilled calamari are highly recommended!). Friend had the veal, scraped plate implies it was good. I had the halibut which was a bit salty but the fennel risotto was quite nice. Wrap up with a slice of flourless chocolate cake, and you're done! The dessert menu does leave a bit to be desired. Also, be sure to make a reservation, it gets busy!"

Had a wonderful dinner with family
and all of them would be back again."

Had a great dinner, Alfredo was a
little too Cheesy for my liking but good wine list and good service overall!"

We had a good dinner. Attentive
service and delicious food."

We have been to Joe Badali's place
many times and never have been disappointed. The food is the greatest and the service is usually good. My fish and my wife's salad were very much appreciated and enjoyed. We will return soon."

Joe Badali's provided an excellent
dining experience in celebrating my daughters' birthdays. Friendly, attentive server, appetizing food, great libations and superb ambience!"

We had a really nice experience
and meal before heading over to see a concert for my husbands 47th birthday. The service was excellent and the food was good."

We had a fabulous experience at
Joe Badali's - the food was excellent, service impeccable and the atmosphere comfortable. Location is perfect for the Entertainment section. We'll return for our next evening out at a show. Al from Whitby"

First time at Joe Badali's and we
were extremely impressed. Excellent food, ambiance and our waiter ( Armando) was attentive and gave us terrific suggestions for our meal. One of the best Italian restaurants we have visited!"

Many members of our executive
board had dinner at Joe Badali's during a recent conference in Toronto. Our service was exceptional, and all the food, outstanding. A very enjoyable time."
Dined on 9/19/2013
Terrific Italian food - best
homemade gnocchi since those my Italian grandma made. Spacious restaurant, many large tables - a bit out of the way from the downtown film festival scene, but the plentiful, tasty food warrants a return trip."
Dined on 9/8/2013
Took my co worker group for a
lunch session, nice ambience, good list of options to choose from, orders were quick to be served , the only observation i had was, every dish comes with salad in side, one of my co worker ordered salad from list as main course, the quantity of salad is same for side and the main course which surprised me!!!.... May be its the case with this restaurant."

Joe Bidali's is always consistent.
Food is well priced (though wine prices by the glass are creeping up), portions are ample and the service the friendliest, most efficient you'll find in Toronto. Be sure to check out their Happy Hour snacks and drinks. Our only quibble this time was that we were seated in the front, with two large families nearby. Fortunately, for the most part, the children were well behaved, but when we're dining out, we don't want to feel like we're in a family establishment with booster seats for a view. Restaurants should be conscious of this--there were plenty of other tables not too far away. We were going to the theater and it was a special night out for us, so this was a slight letdown."
Dined on 8/17/2013
The location was great, very close
to our hotel/ convention center and the entertainment area. The atmosphere was okay. I thought the wait staff was good. Food, nothing special. I asked for a different kind of salad and was told that they couldn't prepare that on a week night. All is all, it met my needs to entertain some people for business, but I would not necessarily go back on my own."
Dined on 8/14/2013
A good time, but not a great time
The food was acceptable, but not as good as we had hoped. I think the restauarant skrimped on our Summerlicious orders. The next special family outing could well be somewhere else."
Dined on 7/21/2013
Lots of variety for when you have
time to take advantage. We didn't, but our service was so good we weren't rushed. Love having the gluten free alternative pastas. Very nice salad."
Dined on 7/5/2013
Fast service, good food but not
rushed. Very quiet, which was a surprise before the game but worked well for us."
Dined on 7/6/2013
Tried a couple items from their
"Pea" menu..I was surprised that a menu was actually based on Peas because it's not an ingredient that I would think anyone would Oooo and aaah about, but there were actually some items that caught my eye. I had the Pizza Coi Gamberi which had shrimp, peas, corn, and spinach on it; it was quite good. Then I had the Torta Di Piselli for dessert which was Pea cake with lemon sour cream, strawberry black pepper sauce, and citrus sorbet. The pea cake sounded so strange so I just had to try it. It was very good, but not in a decadent kind of way, but more like a comfort food way. I would have it again."
Dined on 6/19/2013
Nice place, regular food (not
trying too hard) a bit too expensive for that quality, kind of like a... Tourist trap"
Dined on 6/22/2013
We live south of Ottawa and always
make a point to visit Joe's when in TO, and have never been disappointed in the food or service."
Dined on 5/4/2013
We ate in the large back room.
Tables are far too close to each other. Very busy with a Jay game and a hockey game ."
Dined on 4/3/2013
Great spot to dine before an ACC
event! Attentive staff made sure we ate, drank and got out in time for the game."
