"I love trying new restaurants and figured how could a pizza & bar place be bad... well it can't! The food is delicious too, and their beer selection while not huge was well chosen (Rapscallion honey anyone?). I highly recommend the bianco pizza--goat cheese, arugula, figs, garlic, you can't go wrong! I will definitely be coming back, especially during the warmer months when they can open up the front and have patio/sidewalk seating!"

"I went for dinner with my husband and 8 year old son on a Saturday night at 6pm. The food was very good. Simple and tasty. We had the calamari, mussels, shrimp pasta, and a salad.

A few people at the bar and a few tables of small groups when we arrived at 6pm and got busier by the time we left.

Our waitress was very friendly.

The music was too loud for us.

The table we sat at had a column/pole from floor to ceiling between two seats. Since there were three of us it was not so distracting and perhaps that is why we were seated there but if seated there again I would ask to move."

"Limited menu. The items we ordered were awful. The Mac and cheese literally had no cheese. The pasta was also mushy. The waitress told us their own pasta sauce was not good and not to order anything with sauce which was the majority of the dishes. The shrimp scampi was afloat a bed of oil. The fried pickles were pretty good as was the wine. I would only go back if I was going to drink. The waitress also told us the only good things on the menu were the pizzas so maybe those would be better?"

"I love Jimmy's! We used to go to Joe V's in the South End which was Jimmy's restaurant before he opened Jimmy's Bar and Oven and we loved it and were heartbroken when it closed! But thankfully he opened an even better restaurant that we love! It is so easy and fun to have a delicious meal here, it is our goto spot!"
