This was by far my favorite of the Garces restaurants so far. The food is the best I've ever had and the service was impeccable. The manager even had reading glasses for my mom!

Did not find the food to be great! The salad with grapefruit and pistChios was great. Had the raw plate which was tuna with salt. I did not find it tasty at all. The waitstaff and other staff were superb. And it was not crowded or noisy!

We had the Chef's choice with wine pairings!! What a treat. Everyone was so attentive. Our waiter Nathan , sever Josh & Jordan, assistant Alihandro and the Manager Bret were wonderful. The chef even came out to the table at the end of the meal. Eleven dishes and three wines later, we're were more than satisfied. All of the dishes were spectacular.

Less than half filled on a Saturday night. Skimpy appetizer portions. Very expensive for what we got. We love Jose Garces' restaurants, but were disappointed in this one. Saving grace was that we and our out-of-town guests were able to converse easily in our party of 6, sadly because the restaurant was so empty. Fried chicken a highlight! Scallop entree so small that even the two light-eating women who ordered it were still hungry.

We have been to JGDomestic about 5 times and love it. It is a place we always take special friends that are visiting since it is a wonderful experience. The waiter was delightful and so accommodating given that one member of our party was not initially going to get the Chef selection. He went back and forth between the kitchen and us to figure it out so that her experience was as wonderful as ours. Our chef selection was a perfect amount and we loved each course, and left satisfied and not overstuffed.

We chose JG Domestic for its location. Two members of our group were catching a Bolt Bus to NYC after lunch, and two of us wanted to take a train in from the suburbs. It was convenient for all of us. None of us had been there before and were interested in trying it. It has trendy ambiance, our waiter was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient, and the food was good. My Caesar salad was fresh, ample, with crunchy homemade croutons. My onion soup was too cheesy and salty. My husband's burger was "delicious". If we ever need this location again, we'll be happy to come back, but I doubt if we'll choose it otherwise. The big negative is no reimbursed parking in the daytime, and it's $17 for 2 hours in the adjacent lot.
