"They have one of the best location on the marina, I wish they would place some effort and focus on the food and beverages they serve. For the price they charge and for the name of the hotel it's really inexplicable why they don't try to put out some decent edible food and why when I ordered a glass of $19 wine it came out tasting old like the bottle is been open for days(the server brought it already in the glass and I like when they bring the bottle and pour it at the table especially if I pay $19 dollar for it!)
The server try do his best but I got the impression that they seems understaffed most of the time in the restaurant and lounge."

"My Friend and I are local and decided to try Jer-Ne for dinner after hearing good reviews. I have to tell you, it was well worth it! We sat outside on the deck and the ambiance and the views were fantastic. Once the Chef found out we were both vegetarians he offered to customize a veggie tasting menu. Each course was outstanding- All ingredients were from the Santa Monica farmers market, the textures were all very different, and spices/flavor had depth. Service was warm and on point exactly what we expect at The Ritz. I am still dreaming over the homemade pappardelle noodles with walnuts, pumpkin puree and fried sage!"

"Dinner was fabulous! We tried the chef’s tasting menu, without knowing what to expect, and had a fantastic experience. The staff was so attentive to our every need. With the delivery of every course, the Sous Chef visited our table to explain each dish in detail, the ingredients, textures and taste behind the recipe. Truly a great dining experience with well thought out detail and flawless execution. Exactly what you’d expect from a Ritz. For future diners--be sure to request seating on the patio, the views of the marina at sunset are one of a kind."

"Wonderful brunch for a family party. $58/pp includes unlimited champagne. The smoked salmon flatbread, one of the items that each person orders from the menu, is excellent. I think the restaurant cures its own salmon. (The smoked salmon at the hotel's Club Lounge breakfast is also excellent.) Although I have seen much more extensive and lavish brunch buffets, the quality of this one is excellent, and no one can eat more food than this anyway! There's a made-to-order omelet station and a dessert station. The fruit at the main buffet station is delicious; shrimp are excellent. Service is very accommodating to all various requests."

"The restaurant was ok but the food was really bad. We want for Valentine's dinner and we were expecting a lot more. It's over rated, over priced and the food was really really bad. We went home and ate dinner at home. For the amount of money we paid we deserved much better food. I don't recommend this restaurant for any events."

"My friend and I went to JerNe because of Restaurant Week/Dine LA, an opportunity to try it out with the prix fix menu, etc. I did not see the "memo" that they were not partici-pating in the program and we only found out after we had sat down;so we left. We were very dissapointed and wonder why they were even listed during this promotion when they aren't part of it??? Think it's reckless and irresponsible of all concerned to present a false image just for the publicity. We now have a negative experience of JerNe, which I am sure is no one's intent."

"This was my 4th or 5th visit. The setting and service are terrific, but the food has gone south. The Fish Taco plate was ridiculous - 5 tiny tortilla shells filled with not tasty filling with a small saucer of Tomatillo salsa verde on the side. The presentation was dull and barren looking and the fish tacos were dull and barren as well."
