We enjoyed the food and the piano player. There was just "something missing", although it's difficult to say exactly what. It is quite far away from our home and I doubt we'll go there again.

"
Went here on Monday after New Year's and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Several great entree choices plus a nice selection of starters. More than enouh to please any group. The service was a bit spotty, no doubt because of the time of the year, but good enough not to be a problem. Definitely will go again.

"
Jeffrey's has always been a favorite of ours. Last week when we went there the waiter was particularly uninterested in serving us to the standard we are used to. It was rather disappointing to have track him down for wine refills, dessert and later for the check. He didn't check in with us and basically ignored us.

Food was very good. Had Butternut squash soup w/ lobster ~ however there was no lobster; soup was tasty. Salads are huge ~ you could share. Had the mixed field greens with almonds and orange segments; dressing was just right not overpowering; other salad was the baby spinach salad w/ strawberries ~ just the right amount of dressing. Entrees were Mahi Mahi nice presentation ~ rib eye pork chop ~ very tasty ~ chutney complimented it and the sweet potato gratin was very tasty. Waitress was pleasant and efficient.

It was our first time at this restaurant and it far exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding and the service was great. One member of our party is on a low salt diet and they were very accommodating, meeting all her requests.

Appetizers were mediocre, but the main entrees were amazing and just as good as any fine NYC restaurant. To start, I had the House made agnolotti filled with lobster and sweet mascarpone cheese over fresh sage balsamic brown sauce sprinkled with toasted almonds. - There was little if any lobster in the agnolotti, but there was one very small piece of lobster meat in the middle of the plate- enough for one bite. The whole dish was very sweet and was drowning in the balsamic sause- also tasted like there was maple syrup mixed in- way too much and the almonds on top were unnecessary. Next time, I would just order the mussels to start or a salad- something simple and good. The rack of lamb however, was perfection. Will definitely be back.

Parking can be a little tight. But well worth the effort. Had a Friday night 7pm reservation. We arrived at 7 were seated immediately. Wonderful food and service.
