A word from Jean Georges Steakhouse - Aria
Prime Beef and Seafood in a contemporary, urban setting. The boldly modern space is sectioned into a high-octane lounge, elevated dining areas for a maximum see-and-be-seen excitement and two private dining rooms.

Award-winning chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten challenges the definition of the traditional American steakhouse by adding a strong dose of energy and world-class appeal to an all-American institution. At Jean Georges Steakhouse, classic and simple cooking methods, such as grilling, braising and sous vide, draw out the essence of the world's best meats, while the fragrant nuances of globally inspired spices combine into Vongerichten's signature flair.

" Each dish on my menu must be a perfect combination of well-loved flavors, backed by new, unexpected ones that guests will come to crave." - Chef Jean Georges Vongerichten

The meals were average at best. Both steaks were over done. The fillet was ordered medium and was charred, dry and grainy. Side dishes were average. Potatoes were $18 and arrived in a 1 cup size bowl. Service was rushed and the waiter actually told us to hurry up and order because the kitchen wanted to close. Photo girl did a nice job to quickly take table side pictures. Unfortunately the package was $90 for a few snap shots. Overall there are much better places to eat in Vegas.

This has probably been the best steakhouse dining experience I've ever had. Despite the snooty hostess (young girl, annoyed that we were there): every other person went above and beyond. So much that I can still with confidence say this place deserves all the accolades and praise it receives. The server was a gem: older female who (despite us being seated as they were closing) showed genuine care and attentiveness. When we asked for a wine recommendation, she brought over their sommelier who made a superb recommendation (and totally withing our budget). Never have I ever had a restaurant do that. I was impressed. The specials were clear. The food amazing. Ambience was sexy. I love this place. Can't wait to return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here! In comparison to other good restaurants e.g. Gordon Ramsey and Wolfgang Puck Cut..Jean George was definitely our standout dining experience in Vegas! The steaks were beautiful and duces and sides also delicious. Topped PFFF with impeccable service, thoroughly recommend it!

Waiter seemed upset we weren't interested in a $220 steak. After which the service was only average. Still spent $400 on dinner for four. Each of us agreed food was worth the price. Waiter got drink order wrong, which was frustrating to all. Did not check on us the entire time. I had to stop a different server to order another drink.

We had grilled asparagus, truffle mashed potato, mushrooms with jalapeño, tomato soup and a salad for sides. I'd give a 10 to all of them and a 5 for the mushrooms. They were not very flavorful and the mushrooms were very chewy! We got the 26 oz ribeye, and I'd give it a 7. In the past we've had their filets, and those are a definite 10! Great friendly service. We will always make a point to eat here in every trip to Vegas.

I love great dining experiences and this one hit on two of four cylinders. Service was solid although for a slow night like we had I thought it might have been more prompt. No complaints though in that area. Host staff was phenomenal and the venue looked great. Now, the disappointment came in value and quality. I am happy to pay $100 per person for dinner, I just want a matching value and this wasn't even close. My NY strip was smaller than the 10 oz filet our table ordered and as I ordered it rare plus I was expecting something not cooked through which this was. The sear was deep into the cut which caused me to tear at it rather than slice it. Not what I am looking for in a $50 piece of prime. Out of space - call for more details.

...but nothing extraordinary either. The best way I can describe it is, it was "OK". Appetizer was OK, main course was OK, dessert was OK. Service on the other hand was very good. I'm a steak guy, the steak was ok, but I've had better for cheaper. I wouldn't be opposed to going back, but wouldn't be my first choice either.

I can't say enough about how amazing the whole experience was. Plan to spend some cash, but you will *not* have buyer's remorse! The specials truly are 'specials'...we were offered Kobe beef and 24lb lobster! The menu is small, but far from simple - we had a hard tine deciding because everything sounded like a 'must-try.' Also, our food was delayed because the chef was not happy with how it originally turned out. We were five with that, but they still brought us molten lava cake to compensate for our wait. The staff truly wants you to have the epitome of a memorable dining experience!

Great food with an attentive staff. Steak was tender and prepared exactly as requested. Great place to go for special occasions. Prices can be expensive but was expected. We were placed next to a waiter station so there was constant traffic around our table. The excessive traffic did take away a bit from the ambiance but not enough give a lower score. Overall a great experience.

Stopped in to eat before heading to see Zarkana and I'm so glad we did. Great wine list and easily navigated. I had the Wagyu filet Oscar with crab and the creamed corn, all of which were fabulous. My husband and my best friend's husband had the 8oz filet Oscar with crab as well but with lobster mashed potatoes. Those potatoes were out of this world. Steaks were cooked perfectly. My best friend had the sea bass and grilled asparagus and loved every bite. Oh and dessert was so delicious. Churros with cinnamon ice cream and caramelized bananas for the win. Definitely made some foodie friends jealous with pics.

The service, especially our waiter Nabil, were horrible. We would go 10s of mins without refills of even water. Our food came out cold and we were never checked out on. Entrees and sides are quite expensive and given all of the competition of other high end steak houses this one is definitely not worth it.

Very expensive not to be better. I eat at high end steakhouses a few times a year. This was a very "meh" experience from a food standpoint. We did a private dining room / set menu, which I know is generally a recipe for mediocre food, but was expecting better given the cost. Good wine / experience with the Sommelier.

very disappointed. Terrible at timing our food. The appetizers came too fast before we had had a sip of our cocktails. This has never been an issue at high caliber restaurant such as this that we have attended in the past. This caliber restaurant is often excellent at providing you an excellent culinary experience. About a minute or two after our appetizer was done, the main course arrived. My meat was cold and the plate on which it was served was barely warm. Likely the food had been prepared way too early and sat under a warm light or on the counter before it was delivered. Very disappointed with the timing of the whole thing. This was not a culinary experience we had hoped for at these prices.

After reading the other reviews I was hesitant to take a group of 4 friends to this restaurant for a birthday party, but thought I would take the risk - and it paid off. Don't listen to the poor reviews on here - this steakhouse was incredible. Everything from the service and decor to the actual steak was impeccable. Even the bathrooms were impressive - loved the sinks! Overall though we had a fantastic meal with stellar service - our waiter and his team could not have been more attentive, non-pushy and even put up with a friend who questioned the prices and then ordered the burger...which happened to be one of the best he's ever had. I will return next time I'm in Vegas! Thank you Jean Georges team - I wish you much success.

The restaurant is set back at the end of a corridor. Frontage is a bit muted. Mood lighting is evident as soon as you walk inside. I half expected a Luther Vandross song to be playing. Noise level was moderate so it can definitely help you get cozy and in the mood. Doris, our server, was great. Very friendly and personable. The wine selection is nice; even if it's a bit on the high side. Food came out piping hot. Tomahawk steak was enormous. Salmon was prepared nearly rare as requested which is surprisingly difficult for many places to do right. Steaks were cooked just right. Great cuts. Very, very tender. Well worth the extra cost for the Kobe. Presentation at Wolfgang's Cut was slicker, but the food here was comparable.

We were extremely disappointed with our dining experience at Jean Georges. We have no problems paying a premium dollar for a well deserving meal, this was awful. The steak was not flavorful, and the baked potatoes were horrible. We will continue to dine at Hank's in green valley when we want to splurge on a great meal. This was not worth the money spent at all. Several average chain restaurant's steak dinners are better then this at a 1/4 of the cost.

The food at Jean Georges was good, though both our filets were overcooked. Dessert was excellent. Service left much to be desired. We saw the sommelier to initially pour our two bottles of wine, then never saw him again. We poured ourselves the rest of the meal. It also took us nearly 30 minutes to pay from the time we placed our credit cards on the table until they were retrieved and a final bill was ready for signature.
