A word from Jean Georges Steakhouse - Aria
Prime Beef and Seafood in a contemporary, urban setting. The boldly modern space is sectioned into a high-octane lounge, elevated dining areas for a maximum see-and-be-seen excitement and two private dining rooms.

Award-winning chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten challenges the definition of the traditional American steakhouse by adding a strong dose of energy and world-class appeal to an all-American institution. At Jean Georges Steakhouse, classic and simple cooking methods, such as grilling, braising and sous vide, draw out the essence of the world's best meats, while the fragrant nuances of globally inspired spices combine into Vongerichten's signature flair.

" Each dish on my menu must be a perfect combination of well-loved flavors, backed by new, unexpected ones that guests will come to crave." - Chef Jean Georges Vongerichten

Diner Reviews
  • "The steaks melted in your mouth -- as you would expect from a place like this. Service was professional and unobtrusive. An elegant place for steaks in Las Vegas."

  • "Our food and service was outstanding! This place was highly recommended by a close friend and we were not disappointed. Definitely will visit again next time we are in Vegas. <3"

  • "We had to wait 35 minutes though having a reservation. Staff gave us no hint how long to wait so we could not go to the bar having some drinks in the meantime. Arrogant and uncharming staff. No excuse for the delay, many empty tables and still have to wait. I do not get it."

  • "Fair food, high prices and rude waiters. Our party of six felt rushed throughout our meal, although the restaurant was not crowded. We all believed the goal of the wait staff was to turn the tables as quickly as possible."

  • "This is 3rd time eating here and food and service have always been excellent. Pricey but good for occasions such as anniversary."

  • "I've been coming to Vegas for 35+ years and it was one of my top 5 meals I've ever had there. One of the things that stood out was the portion size. Big enough to be fulfilling but not so huge that it was a waste. I've also tired of almost having to yell to communicate at some places but the noir level was enough to be fun but not over bearing. I have already recommended this restaurant to some friends and I will definitely be back."

  • "We recently ate dinner here and it was so delicious! I've eaten a lot of great meals, but this was the best steak I have ever had! And the chocolate cake is so amazing! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Would highly recommend. Also, from 5-7, they offer an early dinner menu for $69.00. You have to ask for the early dinner menu when they seat you. We saved $15/person from what we would have paid. If you're in Vegas and looking for a great evening at a steakhouse, go to Jean Georges."

  • "Great food, service and ambience but bring your wallet as it is not cheap."

  • "I went here and cut at the palazzo this trip. Cut was so much better. Not that the food wasn't bad, but the waiter was not up to the caliber I expect. Steaks came out and sides made it out 10 minutes later and after I asked. When I complained the waiter said ok and never came back. Another server brought us out free dessert and gave us the check."

  • "We chose Jean George because it was in the same hotel as the Cirque show, and we were looking for a prime steakhouse experience. Unfortunately, the experience was far from prime. Although the food was good (not great), the service is what ruined our dinner. We arrived at 8:45 pm, 30 minutes prior to our 9:15 reservation. Although there were MANY empty tables, we were told we would have to wait for our reserved time. We returned at 9:15 and were seated, then we waited.....and waited.....and waited....for someone to acknowledge us. Our waiter was very distracted, looking around the restaurant while reciting the specials. We rarely saw him the rest of the evening. The meal was average, service poor. Choose a different steakhouse."

  • "As you can imagine trying to find a reservation in Vegas for a steakhouse at the last minute on a Saturday night, for a reasonable hour can be a challenge. Jean Georges worked out perfectly. I assumed you can't go wrong with most of the places that serve high end steak in Vegas, but Jean Georges was above my expectations. My filet was cooked perfectly and the sauces presented were a pleasant surprise as i'm somewhat of a sauce nut (not that they were needed). Not only is Aria a gorgeous new casino, the atmosphere was beautiful inside the restaurant as well, and the noise level was moderate enough to have great conversations with my friends. I would recommend to anyone! Our waiter was also very knowledgeable and kind. Thank you!"

  • "Steaks were not very good. Dry and without flavor. Was not served hot either. Wine list was excellent with some very nice wines offered at a good value. Bar was great and bartenders were very helpful and fun. I would not recommend the restaurant because the steaks were below average."

  • "Table of 4 had good service and good food. Way over priced for quality. Expected better food comparing to other Vegas steakhouses."

  • "I was excited to eat at this restaurant and disappointed in the quality of the beef. It is purported to be Prime beef but was tasteless but properly cooked. The sauces were ok, but not interesting. Just generally disappointed, maybe my expectations were too high."

  • "I have never experienced such a horrible evening in such an expensive restaurant. The food was fine (however the lemon gelee was too overpowering for the cavier), but the service was comparable to Denny's, at best. Whenever two servers come up to you and both state that they will be taking care of you, please be very cautious. Absolutely no flow - I doubt they spoke to one another. During the tasting menu - wine for the next course was placed on the table while still finishing the current course, one dish was placed on the table without anyone telling us what the dish consisted of, dirty dishes not being picked before placing the next course on the table, etc. What a disaster! And, what am I paying to experience this?????"

  • "From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and completely taken care of. All of the staff was exceptional. We've dined at many top restaurants in Vegas and this was a top location. From an extensive wine list all the way to dessert everything was the finest quality. Highly recommend the truffle mac n cheese side to any of their amazing steaks, melts in your mouth! A must on any return trip to Vegas."

  • "The chilean sea bass was not at all the quality a fish i expected. We didnt have the steak so maybe that was better. The food was served way too fast...main entree came before the appetizers were done. The server was not friendly but the bartender was very nice. For these prices i wouldnt jave expected much better."

  • "In a nutshell, excellent food, excellent waiter, below expectations hostess work. The food was top notch. The decor is dark and neat. Our waiter was excellent. Our only complaints would be the 10 minute wait time past our reservation for no apparent reason and the hostess' decision to seat us in the restaurant's one horrible table in a corner near the wait station even though the place wasn't yet anywhere close to full."

  • "We received last minute tickets to Zarkana and wanted to find a restaurant in the hotel. This steakhouse was amazing. The filets were cooked perfectly throughout even though they were really thick. We ordered the sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes and, although good, were a bit salty. The chocolate cake was heavenly and it had the best chocolate streaming out once pulled apart. Service was exceptional."

  • "When you pay $150pp for a table of 6, including lower-end, overpriced, wine, you expect much more. The servers were efficient, but not friendly. Two of the 5 steaks came out well done, when medium rare was requested. Yes, they acknowledged and rectified quickly, but still... They don't have any vegetarian dishes listed on the menu, but did offer them once asked. I won't be back with my business. Sadly, we received the same level of service at another Aria restaurant as well."

  • "WOW, I heard JG's was fantastic however nothing could compare to the melt in your mouth filet mignon and my Chillean Sea Bass has definitely spoiled me. Every item my husband and I tried he would lean over to me and say you need to learn how to make this, after about the fourth item he just said forget it I'll just send you to a culinary school! LOL We both had the best time and the atmosphere was great. Your wait staff is also the best ever and trust me we eat out all the time. They were knowledgeable, courteous and non-intrusive. Our plates were cleared without any interruption to our conversation. The whole experience was memorable and we have already recommended your restaurant to our family and friends."

  • "The reception from the hostess was appalling..She acted like she was put out by having to seat us. The service was very slow and mainly covered by other waiters when we needed something."

  • "This restaurant was to die for, it was absolutely something that I have never had and something that I would want more of. I couldn't get enough of the atmosphere and the food was out of this world. Being a chef and it being my first time out in Las Vegas I couldn't of picked a better restaurant to dine in. Our servers were fantastic if not incredible, their knowledge of menu and of wines really impressed me."

  • "This was way overpriced and quality poor. I have been to a lot of steak houses and this by far the highest price for the quality of food. One of the steaks had to go back and others were burnt on the outside ( and it was ordered medium) When you spend over $500 for 3 people you would expect much better overall experience. Also server never asked once how our meal was or if the steaks were cooekd ok...we had to wait to flag him down to take steak back and cook more. Find another place to go spend your $$$$$"

  • "With so many highly recommended restaurants in Las Vegas, it was difficult to find one to have our special holiday treat. Staying at Aria we looked at all the restaurants and was finally won over by Jean George Steakhouse and it's selection of high quality USDA beefsteak. The food, service and all round eating experience lived up to expectations, with 2 mains, 2 sides, 1 shared dessert and a bottle of wine falling just short of $250. I would certainly recommend to anyone staying at the Aria or wanting to make a special trip off the main strip."

  • "Quiet pre-show meal. Almost switched to Javier's to get away from the heft associated with steakhouse food; glad we didn't. Every aspect of the meal was spot on -- from the chilled seafood with three sauces to the molten chocolate cake (w/ a glass of 20-year Port). But the hero was the wagyu filet. Done to perfection and just the right size to avoid a post-meal "food coma". Sauces were fun, but unnecessary. All too often steakhouses believe that more is more. The truffle mac and cheese and spectacular mushrooms were proof that less, done right, is always better. Service was not only attentive but fun without being cloying or annoying. Wine recommendations were perfect for the dishes we ordered. Looking forward to returning on my next trip."

  • "I can't tell you how many 5 star steakhouses in Las Vegas that I've been to who can't seem to cook a medium steak. Not the case here. The truffle Mac n cheese was amazing. Thanks Jean George's!"

  • "This was our second time at Jean Georges and it was delicious as always. My husband's steak was done perfectly and my fish was just right. It was a little noisier than our last visit and the service was slower, but all in all a great place that we would recommend to anyone going to Vegas."
    Dined on 2/16/2014
  • "Food was great! The Tomahawk is by far the steak to get if you're there for a steak. Just be warned... its HUGE. I got the sautéed spinach on the side and it was pretty too-- you know, as far as spinach is concerned. The waiter staff was pretty great-- and although they were busy they were able to take pretty good care of us. The only thing that wasn't my favorite is that instead of a booth (so much prefer a booth!!) we were at a small table that was a bit close for my comfort to the other tables-- that might have been mostly because on one side of us the couple was fighting and on the other side of us the couple was just--- awkward.... so that was weird but until my man and i found our stride and received our food we are aaaallll good--"

  • "I loved this place, specially the food, the meat was delicious, I've been in a lot of steakhouse but this was the best I've tried so far!, service was very good, the decoration of the place outstanding, I recommend it to go with your special one."

  • "This is my second time eating at Jean George and I recall not being very impressed after the first visit, but I decided to give it another try. Well they confirmed my recollection. The menu is way overpriced and their steaks leave a lot to be desired. The 16 dry aged ribeye ($66) looked and tasted like something I could get at Outback Steakhouse. My date's "Chilean" Seabass, although flavorful, was a little larger than a filet-o-fish. The only redeeming qualities were the sides we'd ordered. If I hadn't had steakes at other fine establishments like SW, Gordon Ramsay, N9NE, and CarneVino, just to name a few, I may not have known better. But alas, I do. I would not recommend this place to anyone that's is looking for a great steak."

  • "We had a very non rushed attentive dinner this past weekend. My boyfriend is a steak lover and we wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day early. I even wrote in the comment section of open table when making the reservation and the Jean Georges read it and the server commented that we should have a romantice Valentine Day dinner. There was no rushing. They filled our water glasses when they were empty. The food was fantastic! I had never eaten there before and they offer a Sampler dinner for $109.00 per person. My boyfriend did not want that (states they encourage all parties at the table to have it) and when inquired why they stated it was simply for serving the food types together. It was not a problem and service was great."
