  • "We were seated at a table against a wall in an area next to a "bus cart", although there were many other tables available in better locations. The steaks, which were their USDA prime, were tough and overcooked. We ordered them medium rare, assuming they would cook them true, and got meat that was closer to medium. There were long waits in between courses, and the wait staff was pretentious. Expected a delightful evening meal, and got a $400.00 experience that would have been overpriced at one-quarter of that amount."

  • "The service was horrible, the server only checked on us immediately after the food was dropped even with empty wine glasses and the fact that we left most of our food un-eaten. The exterior of the steak was so tough the steak knife couldn't cut it and the lobster mashed potatoes were anything but. After waiting 20 plus minutes, the busser cleared our plates of un-eaten food and the server miraculously showed up and asked us if we had a chance to see the dessert menu or if we were ready for the check. Considering he never brought us the menu and he clearly was rushing us we declined dessert. For the price, location, and ambiance I would have expected 5 star service, but this was worse than any chain restaurant."

  • "The restaurant was tucked away in the Aria and it was totally divine. We were celebrating a birthday that night and the staff made it a night to remember. The service was excellent and very attentive but not overbearing. The food was absolute fabulous. The best place we ate while in Vegas. The group all tried a different signature drink that was not only refreshing but also carried a punch. Will definately eat at this location the next time we are in town. The comments from the group on the food were "terrific", "ahh", "tender", "divine". I would recommend this restaurant to any everyone. It has great meat and seafood so I think everyone would find something on the menu to enjoy."

  • "Third time there. Everything was excellent. Wine lady suggested a very nice Heitz Cellars 2009 Napa Cab. All the sides were great, service was perfect and steaks (Strip, filet, 16 oz ribeye and their natural ribeye) were superb. A quibble; they were about $5-10 overpriced compared to other steakhouses. In the scheme of things, not huge but worth mentioning. Decor is a bit eclectic and even funky, but interesting. A little dark. Overall I would return."

  • "When I visited Vegas previously in March, I ate at Fleur in the Mandalay Bay. I expected Jean Georges to provided a comparable level of food service, but I was disappointed. The classic caesar salad was served "banquet style". It lacked any visual artistic interpretation. The steak was mildly seasoned. In contrast to the steak at Fleur which was outstanding, the Jean George steak needed all of the four sauces that were presented. A steak should stand on its own without any sauce. The dessert was the highlight of the meal. The warm chocolate cake was presented with a whimsical artistic flair. As a pastry chef, I would highly recommend the dessert. Should you order wine by the glass, ask the price. My bill listed a glass for $28."

  • "Service started out bad. No fun. Went through specials like we were not important. House wine was warm and expensive for 1 glass. The shrimp cocktail was the only good item. The steak, filet was not seasoned and had some overcooked areas. Lobster was good but not worth the cost. We will never go back."

  • "Jean Georges used to be one of our favorite Las Vegas restaurants. On a recent meal we received less than the usual stellar service, and we tipped accordingly. When we received our credit card statement that month we were surprised to find that the waiter had run the tip for more than we'd authorized on the receipt. This looked deliberate- not a simple slip of the finger on the credit card keypad. On our next trip we brought the error to the attention of the manager, but he never followed up with us. There are many nearby restaurants where you can have a great meal without being stolen from. Give this one a miss!"

  • "Went there while I was in town for the weekend. Started great, very attentive. Told them I wasn't in a rush, no shows, no place to be that evening. Appetizers and salads came out in 6 min. No problem there, excellent Caesar and Bacon wrapped shrimp. Next thing I know the wine was delivered (which I asked to come out with the meal) I was told the steaks were on their way out. 12 min total (not a leisurely service) I reiterated I wasn't in a rush, was asked how long and I said another 15 min. 40 min later our steaks came out. My Wife's was fine, mine was overcooked. In addition, I asked for the fries to be well done and was told they were cooked twice and very crisp, not so. The server also needs to know when to pour your wine."

  • "Friend and I dined there on 6/10. We ordered steaks, plus two sides. Upon arrival my steak looked like leather and did not look like it had been cooked anytime in the last 4 hours. It was barely warm. My friend's filet looked gray, had no crust, and was basically cold. One of our two sides, the mushrooms (which were excellent), was served in a small cast iron dish. The dish was hot but the vegetables were not. It was almost funny that a restaurant of Jean Georges caliber would let food like that leave the kitchen. Actually, an embarrassment is a better word. We politely complained, the restaurant was very apologetic, and they recooked everything from scratch. We were surprised, though, to see no accommodation on the bill."

  • "We had high expectations and were severely let down. The first red flag was as soon as we were seated the table of 3 next to us all sent back their steaks because they were to salty. Their words "inedible". Appetizers: Caesar salad BBQ spare ribs. They were fine. Dinner:10oz filet medium, asparagus and truffle Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was ok I don't like truffle my husband thought it was ok. The asparagus was delicious and the highlight of the meal which is sad at a steakhouse. Our steaks were both insanely rare like blue rare. Not even close to medium. We notified our servers who were less than attentive. And he scooped them up and brought them back charcoal on the outside and mine was still rare but not blue. So disappointing. "

  • "The ambiance of this place is phenomenal; service is prompt, friendly and accommodating. Turns what could have been just another dinner on just another night (albeit on a spontaneous trip to Vegas) into a special occasion. However, I was expecting something a little more mind blowing for a $66 dry aged rib eye steak. My judgement of a good steak house is on whether or not I can make it better myself… and this place was a bit of a disappointment. I did enjoy the sauce assortment that accompanied the meal (always a tough choice: béarnaise or black truffle butter?) but here we were provided with five decadent sauces to choose from by default. Great steak doesn't need it, but when it does… at least we had a good selection."

  • "This was THE most enjoyable restaurant experience I have ever had. The service was by far the best and most courteous of any establishment that I have ever visited. I was going for my 1-yr anniversary before seeing the Cirque show 'Zarkana' The food was amazing. My wife and I both got filet's. They were cooked to perfection. My wife was using the wrong side of the knife at first to cut the steak and didn't even notice because the steak was so magnificent. The service was bar-none. Gary (bartender) was the epitome of everything that you would expect from the service industry, and the kind of employee that every business owner, not just restaurateur, would want working for them. He was knowledgeable and a good conversationalist. Be back soon!"

  • "We had such a great experience last year at this restaurant that we wanted to go again this year. As usual I reserved a time via Opentable an ask for a romantic booth. We had an early 6:30 reservation and when we arrived that took us to the very back corner of the restaurant. Put us in a very tiny booth that we would have had to sit across from each other. We love to sit next to each other so asked it they had something else. We were told that they were going to get really busy so no. We had them turn the table sideways so we could at least sit next to each other. The waiter proceeded to rush us to order at which point we told him we wanted to take it slow. He kept rushing us the whole evening to make home for others later. "

  • "This is a gorgeous Las Vegas steak restaurant right in Aria Hotel so that if you are staying there you can walk to it in a minute. Order the Iceberg lettuce salad because the dressing and bacon are an incredible combination. All steaks of different cuts were excellent at our table. The sommelier found us an excellent Spanish wine that we could afford $150 because the wine list is great but it is very expensive."

  • "Food for all 3 in my party was fabulous. Steaks cooked to perfection. All dishes perfectly seasoned. All 3 courses delicious. Staff were excellent, very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Most definitely did not feel like staff were watching is but service was A*. Worked great at a team together. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes steaks and there are some other things on the menu. I myself would definitely go back if I ever was in Vegas again in the future. "

  • "I came in for a late dinner on a Saturday night. Started with the beef carpaccio and tempura calamari which was served with a sriracha foam which was surprisingly good. We had the 36 oz porterhouse and order the truffle mac and grilled asparagus for our entree. My favorite was the carpaccio. Waygu thinly sliced surrounding a truffle fritter, absolutely fantastic. We had too much food and I wish i could have enjoyed the steak more, but it was cooked perfectly and served with a variety of sauces. Excellent service from our waiter to his assistants. "

  • "We are very familiar with Jean George and have dined in a few of his other restaurants, so we may have had our expectations set a little high for this dining experience. Service was ok, the server was a little smarmy in a used car salesman type of way, but knew the menu. Food was a little flat and not memorable. The ambiance is there, the look and feel of the restaurant is beautiful. But I hate seeing clusters of servers chatting in corners while waiting 10 minutes for a check. I also like to see the floor manager, managing instead of joining in on the server social hour. To me this it's where the level of service takes away from the food which is really too bad for the kitchen when they are doing their job."
