Jean–Georges Vongerichten’s critically acclaimed flagship offers the very best in fine dining. Awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, the restaurant features an exquisitely crafted menu blending French, American and Asian influences; the impeccable service, tableside… preparations and floor-to-ceiling window views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean Georges offers a three course, $98 prix-fixe menu and two $148 six course tasting menus - a traditional tasting with signature dishes from Chef Vongerichten, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients. The prix-fixe and tastings are available Monday through Saturday for dinner. The restaurant also offers a terrific value with a two-course lunch menu for $38. Continued

"Great food, great wine. We had the dégustation menu with the wine pairing. When my friend expressed a hesitation about an Australian wine, the sommelier changed the wine to a very good French wine. It was appreciated! It was also pleasant to be served in French."

"Two days before we had a dinner in the Eleven Madison Park what means that you compare. There is no comparison : this is a very good restaurant, it is a very "classical" cooking, it is very good two stars restaurant but no reason to have three stars. An advice : eat slowly because the service think that you risk to miss your plane or perhaps they hope to make a revenu of six dollars per minute per person instead of five."

"I almost always go to Jean Georges for lunch whenever I'm visiting New York City. Though expensive, they offer a great lunch deal that allows one to splurge, but not go overboard price-wise. They have the best soda that you will ever taste. I made the mistake of ordering a cocktail once, and although it was good, I couldn't stop thinking about the cherry-yuzu soda I was missing out on! The service is impeccable and the food is fantastic. Plus, they offer delicious homemade marshmallows and chocolates at the end of your meal (at least they do for lunch... I can't say they do this for dinner). Overall, it is a fantastic restaurant, a restaurant that really earned those three Michelin stars!"
