The music was excellent, so we stayed for two sets! The food was pretty good too. The only issue I had was that the OpenTable description failed to mention the $30 cover per person, which made the meal cost a great deal more than the "$30 and under" designation. Our final bill for two people was over $200!

We have been to the Jazz Standard many times. The music was great; the service was markedly different,i.e. spotty and indifferent. The food is usually good BUT it was awful that night.

After experiencing Jazz Standard, I've decided that good BBQ, great music, and a flight of premium bourbon just might be a form of happiness. The atmosphere was great, and the entire audience was in to and appreciative of the musicians on stage. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and there was a great vibe, even for the 7:30 show on a weeknight. Will definitely be back.

One of the few music venues where you can go for the food. And not just bbq, though the ribs and pulled pork are fantastic. Great oysters, beautiful salads, and a reasonable number of non-bbq entree options. You have to be prepared to have your meal paced based on the length of the show. All in all, a most pleasant Valentine's Day evening

We went on Valentine's. The performance was good despite a few microphone mishaps (the musicians fault). Would certainly come back again. It was a sold out show so the food took a while to come out but we were too busy drinking our cocktails and listening to the great jazz to mind too much. Regardless, it's impressive how they can seat so many people and serve them food almost all at the same time. That said, I was a little disappointed by the pulled pork, as it was too finely chopped for my taste. BBQ sauce was good and surprisingly so were the oysters we started with. Would certainly come back again. Great place to bring friends from out of town for something a little different. Get there early to get a good table.
