A three course menu was offered with a good selection of options. The service was attentive and the food was very good. The only complaint I had was in the upstairs area the tables seem extremely close not something I'm used to. The bottom floor seems like there isn't this problem . The atmosphere would have been exceptional but a local art festival was occuring in the town square area outside the establishment and thus create a bit more noise and passing traffic than usual. However, this did not interupt a tantilizing meal topped off by a dessert with a special Congratulatory Note from the Chef. On the other hand I must note the fine selection of wines, which my party endulged in, certainly helps sooth the ears and free the mind of the festival chatter. The service was timely and not over intrusive for the special evening. We are never disappointed! Despite being very busy on this Saturday night, our table was ready at our appointed reservation time. The receptionist greeted us with a warm "Happy Anniversary!". We had requested our favorite table by the window and there it was! We also really liked that our server, Julianna, was attentive but not obtrusive. We told her when we arrived that we like to take our time and she obliged by allowing us a leisurely dinner. Of course, the food is always excellent and the menu is diverse so we can try new items with each visit. We enjoyed the maytag blue cheese potato chips as our appetizer. From there we had orders for salmon, a salad with chicken breast, and the surf (ahi tuna) and turf. All meals were excellent and everyone left the table happy and fully satisfied. I have a gluten sensitivity and the restaurant has always been enthusiastically accommodating and I've never been accidentally glutened. Before we sat down for dinner, I had chosen my dish online. However, when I looked through the menu, the dish I wanted was different - Pomegranate rotisserie chicken with spaghetti squash was now raspberry rotisserie chicken with Cajun red beans and beer braised greens. The waitress assured me that they could make it gluten-free. My dish was so ridiculously delicious! Everyone else was just as pleased with the ribs, trout, pork, and dessert! Made reservation online, then later called to make sure they read my "anniversary" comments, since many/most places never look at them. They had, called me by name, and promised great treatment.

Good seating,by a window. Server Nick, while a bit high-strung, was knowledgeable and very attentive. Really nice. Comp'd our dessert, which was a nice touch.
I had the ribs...FANTASTIC. My wife had a perfectly cooked filet. Sides included park brussels sprouts with bacon that were incredible.

We know we're taking a risk in the Woodlands in regard to noisy kids sitting around us. As was the case this time, we were surrounded and they were a bit loud. It would be nice if Jasper's had a designated kid area so that those of us who wish to have a nice, quiet dinner without the ear-assault of crying kids or toddlers banging on things, could do so. I went there 7 years ago and it was great. I returned three days ago and I was surprised that the furniture was wareout and the ambianse changed. There was a lot of noise and the layout changed.
