Diner Reviews
  • "Jasper's is just consistently good every time we go. It continues to be a favorite of ours."

  • "I had a business dinner requested a private table and of course we were seated at a table right in the middle. I was difficult to have a conversation with that background noise. The service was less than average. Food was good. I will not entertain clients at Jasper's again."

  • "The staff are very attentive and the food is very good. I take my clients there all the time and I've never had a bad experience."

  • "Excellent gourmet fare with humble roots. The food was excellent as was the service - they were available without being intrusive. Prices reflect the quality of food and service. Most of the clientele had clearly come straight to the office, and were, perhaps, entertaining clients. Highly recommend for a business dinner, special occasion, or after work drinks."

  • "Great place for a fancy-casual brunch. Entertained my regional director and the president of one of my customers for a nice business brunch and we had a great time."

  • "Came to celebrate 2 special birthdays. Food and service were awesome! Can't wait to go back again."

  • "Interesting menu, makes you want to return just to try other items. Had the prime rib, the baked potato alone made it great. My wife had the ribs, a little dryer than she likes, perhaps it was a little late in the evening and they may have lost their moisture. Also, rib meat could have used a little more infused flavor like smoke. Would return and good place to take friends. Service was top notch."

  • "I had some very special clients/vendors come in town. I decided to take them to Jaspers and it was a great experience."

  • "Our server fell a little short for the evening. Drinks would run dry for several minutes before asked if we would want another, dinner arrived in the middle of the appetizer and we had no utensils to eat dinner with. Once dessert was served we were issued our bill before asking we wanted anything else to drink. Also, our server told us they didn't have a certain liquor, not believing him I walked up to the bar and ask the bar tender who quickly said yes we do and poured me a drink. Happy to give that part if the tip to him instead. Additionally the booth on one side if the table and chair on the other is a very poor mismatch, my wife spent the evening looking down. At me because the booth seating was so much lower than her chair."

  • "One of the best pieces of meat I've ever tasted. Quality of the steak was very good and it was cooked perfectly. The masa soup was also very good."

  • "No complaints. Everything from the welcoming hostess to the friendly but professional and knowledgeable wait person to the attractive and delicious food choices was perfect."

  • "We were told by the waitress about the ribs being voted #1 and #3 by a magazine and a network. I think the magazine and the network got it wrong. The ribs were bland. I believe they boil them first, which, in my opinion, kills the flavor. There are other menu items that taste much better than the ribs. The ribs were accompanied by some kind of gourmet potato salad (contained sour cream and bacon bits)….not very tasty either. Will stick to what I know in the future."

  • "We hadn't been to Jasper's in awhile and decided to stick with the dishes that were pretty much standard. The crab cakes were a hit and the pecan crusted trout would have been great had it not been for a lack luster sauce with al dente brussel sprouts. The service was great and the flow between appetizers to entrees was just right."

  • "This was our third or fourth visit to Jasper's. It's always for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary because it's hard to justify the expense otherwise. But, the food was good; the prime rib melted in my mouth; the crab cakes were great; and the portion sizes are appropriate for the price. We'll go back."

  • "Expensive, but the food is consistently good and the service is attentive. I had the surf and turf - ahi tuna and filet - and it was excellent. The filet had a delicious, smoky taste (Jaspers is known for "backyard" gourmet food). My husband had the rib eye and was not happy with the way it was cooked. He mentioned it to the waiter and maître d (both of whom made a point of asking how we liked our meal) and both offered to cook it further. When my husband declined, they gave us a free dessert. Ironically, my husband doesn't like many desserts, so I got to enjoy the Tres Leches cake myself (delicious)."

  • "First time to Jaspers. While the menu offers what appears to be great entree salads and fish my wife and I enjoyed the LAMB SHANK and I had the Bone In COWBOY RIBEYE. Unbelievable portions. Simple sides that didn't over power the meat entree. Both cooked and seasoned to perfections. They advertise to have top ribs and from what I saw at other tables I will definitely try them next time. The wine selection was not extensive and did focus mostly on west coast wines. Still, what I got was good. I went (and so should you) to focus on some good entrees. Dennis was a great waiter. Loud but not too loud energy level. Located in the fun Shops at Legacy Center."

  • "Food and scene was awesome. Had dinner with business client who had family with him. A bit noisy but great for non-business setting! Lunch seems to be better for business discussions."

  • "Had such a great time at Jasper's! Our food was amazing and the service was excellent. The GM stopped by our table and chatted for a few minutes and was a pleasure to speak with. I could not have asked for a better evening and can not wait to go back. I highly recommend the tenderloin as it was tender and cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts were also a favorite. We sat and enjoyed another bottle of wine after dinner because the ambience was so wonderful."

  • "Have had the ribs many times in the past and thought they were good. However, this time they were very below average and had very little flavor. They tasted like they had BBQ sauce and cooked on an open gas grill...no smoke flavor at all. Also in general I think the wines by the glass are way over priced for what you get in quality and pour size."

  • "The service was spot on from beginning to end. Our table was in a quieter area of the restaurant and we had a very pleasant dinner experience except for the food. Our selections for dinner included: A veal chop and the evening's special, fresh pasta with diver scallops, a wedge salad and a romaine salad. My veal chop was a bit under cooked although I ordered it med/rare...it was closer to rare...ok for a steak...but a little edgy for veal. My husband's dish had delicious and hot scallops but the pasta was cold. The wedge salad was no more than a bowl of chopped lettuce with blue cheese. We didn't ask the waiter to change anything out or even inform him of the problem as we enjoying our time together. Another night...we would have spoken up."

  • "Hostess was very welcoming and efficient. Bar service was a little slow. After one drink we never saw our waitress again. Our server, Maddy, was exceptional. Friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. She would be the main reason to go back. The food was OK. Blue cheese chips, calamari, tortilla soup (called something different) and filet were good, not great. It's the same food you will see at any upper scale restaurant. Pirces were very high. For three people $450+ (including just three drinks each - no specialty wines). We ate on a Wednesday and the place was packed and had a good atmosphere."

  • "Had a great time with my husband at Jasper's. I ordered the pan seared scallops and shrimp in a curry sauce, fantastic sauce and flavors. We also had deseert trio, Rocky Road ice cream sandwhich was delicious!"

  • "I eat at Jasper's every couple of months and it's always great - ideal for business lunches as the food is great and the service is fast and friendly."

  • "We used to love going to Jasper's a few years ago for special occassions. However, we went for a birthday celebration this past Saturday and had a not so good experience this time. They brought our dinner out without setting up silverware. The guy didn't even notice as he was setting down the food. We had to ask for silverware. Then, it happened again. We ordered 2 deserts and the waitress didn't bring out any silverware. Luckily, we had small coffee spoons b/c some people ordered coffee. For a nice restaurant, the service should have been much better."

  • "The lamb shank was absolutely incredible, as was the pork tenderloin. However, I would not recommend the trout."

  • "Jasper's is always a great place to eat. It can be whatever you need...a great lunch spot, romantic dinner, or a great place to have a meal and a business meeting. It truly can meet your need and the food, service and atmosphere are always great."

  • "We have celebrated several anniversary dinners at Jaspers and have yet to be disappointed. I had the filet and it was perfect, very tender and cooked to my specifications. My side dish is their loaded baked potato salad, it is probably my favorite thing on the menu, but you'll need to ask for it as they don't list it as a side, it comes with other things but they will gladly substitute it onto any plate if you know to ask."
    Dined on 3/1/2014
  • "The food mostly was tasty but a little too heavy on salt. Crab cakes were salty and low ratio of crab to filler. Service was efficient and friendly."
