  • "I have enjoyed Jaspers for dinner but recently took my team for lunch. The Salmon Cobb was incredible! Just the right mix of healthy and a little cheating too. Our waiter Scott served us while tending bar gave great suggestions including those unbelievable Blue Cheese Chips. I am glad there were others there to share or I would have eaten them all myself!"

  • "7 of us went to celebrate my Dad's 77th birthday. Should have been a special evening, but turned into a disaster. Waited in the bar 20 minutes past our reservation time. Ordered a house cab glass of wine. Waitress asked if she preferred a full bodied red, yes, then delivered a red wine. Found out when paying that the waitress brought a $24 glass of wine. Not the ordered house. Messed up another persons drink order of vodka tonic with lime. Delivered a vodka with diet pepsi and lime. Waitress wasn't happy about returning that. Evening then went further downhill. Chef was dropping the F bomb from the kitchen while yelling at wait staff. Delivered my Dad the wrong food. We were through eating by the time his food was delivered. Not pleasant."

  • "The food quality did not justify the price. We have eaten there before and been very happy with the food. I would have a hard time recommending Jasper's to a friend."

  • "I have been to Jasper's many times and they have consistently stayed on my top 5 in the shops. I asked for a booth in the back for a quieter setting, they accommodated. Our appetizer was the mashed sweet potatoes and pork belly with a rich cherry sauce. It's a wonderful mix of salty and sweet, one of my favorites apps here! For entrees we had the prime rib and vegetarian cheesy rice stuffed bell pepper. The prime rib is exceptional. Topped with a grilled onion and baked potato w/ green sour cream and white cheddar for a side. The bell pepper was very filling and tasty to my surprise since I'm a huge meat eater. Our waitress's name was Jackie:) She was friendly, unrushed and attentive. Overall another great experience here!"

  • "Jasper's was very accommodating to help with our birthday celebration! Great service! Great food! Great fun!"

  • "They have taken comfort food to a whole new level. Great service and interesting combinations of flavors takes "traditional" dishes and gives them a whole new flair. Who would think fancy comfort food would work but it does and you can still eat the ribs with your fingers."

  • "We returned to Jasper's in Legacy Town Center and enjoyed an exceptional meal. While the menu still has many of the old favorites, several new items have been added. The pork tenderloin was amazing, and the scallops were sweet and silky. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and will continue frequent this great local establishment."

  • "Had a great time at the dinner, managed to get the "board room" because it was available and we had a party of 12. Great service, really incredible food, only 1 miss on the order out of of 12 people (with drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert - about 48 items) - so excellent by all standards. Averaged about $90 per person."

  • "My favorite item on the menu is the Chicken Masa soup, which has been removed. The Tortilla soup, which replaced it, is good but not as good as the Masa soup. I will not be returning to the restaurant until the Masa soup is back on the menu."

  • "Had an evening out with the girls for dinner and decided on Jasper's. Hadn't been there in quite a while. The food is good but I would choose a different meal next time. It was served on black rice that was either not done or if that was the way it is to be served it wasn't very good. The shrimp and scallops on time were excellent. I would go back because everything else was great. Others at our table really enjoyed their food."

  • "Try the calamari which is cooked to perfection, and infused with just enough tangy sauce to set it off! For an entree', give the salmon a try, it is fresh cold water, and to die for!"

  • "We've enjoyed Jasper's many times since it opened. Even though Chef Rathbun was in the house, the evening was very disappointing. We were seated at a worn out, wobbly table which took several minutes to stabilize. Our waiter was a ditz! He was either overworked or slightly deaf as he heard none of our requests. The restaurant's noise level was such that we could not hear each other nor carry on any kind of conversation. Unfortunately, the food was outstanding -- every dish was excellent -- but we may not go back because of all the poor service and noise level. Tables at the"

  • "We made our reservation two weeks earlier through Open Table. When we arrived the table was ready, but located just inside the door. We asked to be moved. Everyone was extremely gracious. The Manager came and spoke to us and said he'd try his best to accommodate us. We anticipated a long wait but within 10 minutes a table was set for us in a great location. Our waiter was great! Food was served perfectly and in a timely manner as well as being delicious. It was a wonderful evening and would recommend it to anyone."

  • "Jasper's was recommended as an excellent business dinner celebration spot. Totally agree. Food was amazing. Restaurant was very nice, etc. Here's the sticking point - our waitress was like a used car salesman. She uphold everything to an irritating degree. Maybe she noticed that I was hosting a business dinner and thought she could make some great money...who knows. All I can say is that it was uncomfortable. We certainly did not need several appetizers, several sides, several desserts, and the most expensive wine on the menu. It is awkward to have to say no in front of clients, but she was being outrageous. Again, great food, but I won't be back. I can't afford to be put in that situation again."

  • "Food was well done, but not exceptional. Thought unusual that was out of first entree option "stir fry pork brisket" at 7p on Weds night. Butter finger creme brulee was enjoyed by all in the party."

  • "Server was great, service was off (cold and undercook food on 3 of 5 dishes - unacceptable) and never recovered."

  • "Everything about Jasper's is good the food, atmosphere, service, everything but nothing stands out as great. Granted, I did not have the ribs which are supposed to be great but I did have the fried chicken which was okay. It was not traditional fried chicken though soooo... The blue cheese chips are flavorful and a must try. The crab cake Eggs Benedict were visually appealing and more plentiful then I expected. Overall, it's a nice place."

  • "Had Father's Day lunch a day early, and it was a lovely experience. The food was good overall. The caesar salad and cheesecake were delicious (though I didn't really enjoy the crabcakes; they seemed under cooked and mushy). The service was wonderful. The music was a bit loud."

  • "This place for us is in a great location has a nice atmosphere and good service but the food is always a bit off. We have been here for diner, brunch and lunch and it always seems the comments from everyone in attendance is they have had a similar dish elsewhere which was much better. This time was no different. The salad tasted like it came out of a bag, the flat bread was bland, the Calamari had a doughy under cooked coating and the entrees faired no better."

  • "I am ok with paying the price for great food, just not willing to pay it for okay food. I paid $32 for baby back ribs. Ribs were small/over grilled, middle was dry and and ends were burnt and unable to be consumed. The potato salad, which is the only side it came with, was very good, as were the maytag chip appetizer. My wife enjoyed her fish order, brazine fish. We ordered the (3) mini cheesecake sampler for dessert . The creme brulee sample was the only good one, the others were just ok. The service was excellent. I'm not sure if I am underating this place or not, but it's rare that the wife and I get out for a nice dinner without the kids. I don't feel as impressed as I should have been for $200, drinks and tip included."

  • "The service was atrocious and food orders were forgotten. We ended up leaving as the wrong dinner orders arrived. Jasper's used to be good. Now an overpriced restaurant with not the matching food or service."
    Dined on 6/7/2014
  • "We have dined here on several occasions over the years. This time, for the first time, we were seated in the bar for dinner. I had the scallops and shrimp. The scallops had a lovely crust on the outside and were perfectly cooked. However, the shrimp was unusually overcooked. It was still seasoned well, but just tougher than it should have been. It was very loud in the bar, and the service was very slow there. Perhaps the kitchen was very busy, or maybe the server had too many tables. We dine out a lot, and sadly, I would have to say this experience at Jasper's just did not hit the mark this time. The bottom line for me is not to sit in the bar if you want to enjoy your meal like you would in the dining room."

  • "Everything was excellent from the drinks to the service, except the chairs at the tables were terribly uncomfortable so we asked to be moved to a booth. Also, we ordered the "Surf & Swine" special, which was delicious, but wish our waiter had given us a heads-up that the black bean relish was spicy. He did happily substitute another dish for my mom, though, which was appreciated. Will return but will always request a booth."

  • "Jasper's is a consistently very good. It is one of our favorite places to go, whether for a cocktail on the patio or dinner. The food is always delicous, innovative and well prepared. The service is always impeccable and the staff is very friendly."

  • "This a must try, with an emphasis on the sauce, which is a ver blanc, but is so well balanced, as to not to be overpowering, and has a gentle finish of lemon. I comes with two giant shrimp, which is just enough to accompany the grits!"

  • "My wife and I eat at Jaspers for our 32nd wedding anniversary we started with some of their special backyard martini's that were out of this world . We had the crabcake appetizer and a salad to start with they were excellent then came the black angus filet it is by far the best steak in Dallas Ft Worth .Then came the dessert we went for the trio sampler butterfinger crème brulee, breadpudding and the dessert French toast. The portions were perfect size for two and all three desserts were to die for. The chef also wrote happy anniversary in chocolate around the edge of the plate what was a great touch to a perfect evening."
