  • "For years we've heard of this place, but never been. But when my Mom came to visit us from Canada, we finally decided to check it out. The food was amazingly delicious, just as I'd heard from many friends. Unfortunately, our waiter was not very pleasant which made it not a very good experience for us. He seemed bothered, impatient, unwelcoming, and just mumbled the evening's specials as though he can't believe he's having to repeat himself tonight. Everything on the menu looked so good that it took my Mom a few more minutes to choose, and the waiter seemed quite impatient with this. The guys refilling our water and gave us bread were SO much nicer that I almost asked them if they could help us instead! Lol."

  • "Now Tues and Thurs is 1/2 off wine, any bottle over $40. Our favorite costs $21. A deal! Excellent seared Ahi over garlic mashed potatoes and tempura green beans. Spouse had his favorite, Ciopinno. Not as noisy this time, but we went at 6:30."

We had 75 people and it was wonderful. We usually have dinner with family once a month and we always return. Just a great local place to have dinner. The sea bass is the best. Thank you Jason."

  • "Valentines Day dining out can always be sketchy because it's such a busy evening for restaurants. Jason's was indeed busy, but the staff was prepared for the evening and everything was fabulous. The food was excellent and the wait staff was very attentive. We will definitely go back!"

  • "First time visiting Jason's. Its funny that we have not been there, despite the great ratings and proximity for us. But it is tucked away in an office building area. Anyway, its old school big portions, big menu and fine food. A range of families and older folks are spread out around the place. We had a great hamachi appetizer, beet salad, crab cakes and scallops. The kids had their pasta and french fries. Will go back for the 2lb lobster special on Mondays, which looks great."

  • "We all ordered seafood. Seabass was a generous portion and yummy. The salmon was beautiful, the giant sea scallops were delicious and all of it cooked perfectly. I ordered a custom lemon drop cocktail the waiter helped me with. I wanted less sugar. The only problem with the ambiance were the people next to us. They were very loud, making our conversation a bit difficult. I don't blame the restaurant for that. Next time we'll leave room for dessert."

  • "I was not expecting much of a restaurant in an office park .... but a friend encouraged me to go. We went on Lobster Monday and thought that that was a great value. Food was prepared to perfection, staff was right at hand, without hovering, calm and subtle. They keep the bar TV out of sight/sound, (I have a rule about not eating in a restaurant with a TV, but here it IS in the bar, not dining area). Parking is easy and ample. I will definitely go back and try more things. All the dishes I saw going by our table looked very good. Jason, the chef-owner, and the kitchen are visible right as you walk in . He smiles when he sees you, and the kitchen looks clean as a whistle, and orderly. I notice alotta stuff, and it was all good!"

  • "I've been to Jason's quite a few times just for their Manhattan's. :) They make a mean (I mean lovely) Manhattan. I've also had dinner there a few times and each time, including this last, was excellent. The baked salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the asparagus was cooked just right and the jalapeno mashed potatoes! Oh my! My dinner companion didn't say no when I offered a second bite. ;) And I loved them so much I didn't offer a third."

  • "I made this reservation because, frankly, there weren't many options. My regulars were all closed for the holiday. They had a special Christmas prix fix menu; three courses for $58 and it was well worth it. Great starters and I had the lamb chops for the main; cooked to perfection with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetable. My companion had the salmon and it was also delicious. For desert a decedent flourless chocolate cake with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Service was great. Everyone was super friendly although it was very crowded and they even had to deal with people without reservations and no open tables. The only negative was the noise level. The acoustics are bad so simple normal dinner conversation is a problem."

We booked on line and were not told / informed that there was a special menu for the night we wanted to be there - a basic three course meal with limit choices for $58 per person. We were not informed of this until seated at table, and even then we were told $52 - when the bill came it was $58. Food was still great but this evening left a bad taste."

  • "Overall dining at Jason's is a nice experience. If my wife and I have one objection it is that our server kept pushing the sea bass and seemed disappointed that we decided on other entrees. We were with another couple who had been to Jason's recently and had the same server. They joked that at that time he again pushed them into having the sea bass. We all opined that perhaps the kitchen had a contest for promoting sea bass with the winning staffperson receiving a monetary prize. Whatever the case, it was an annoying thing to happen at such a nice restaurant."
