The lobster salad had an excellent light dressing not to overpower the tender lobster and crisp french beans. The main course lobster was wonderful in taste. The portions were great. Our waiter was great, I haven't had great customer service like that in a long time. He checked on us, smiled, made good suggestions and was very pleasant. The steak was amazing. the Kansas steak was well worth the $50. No complaints but valet should be free when you're paying that much money for food. Their restaurant needs an ungrade bad. The food was amazing and I will not complain about the pricing either because I do think that it was both fair an reasonable. The overall ambience was lovely and we had a wonderful server (Geoffrey), I wish I could eat here for every meal, every day and I also know where I will be eating for my birthday this July. Lastly, the lobster cocktail and signature pot roast... I hope that you decide to put the lobster cocktail on the menu for good and never ever remove the pot roast as well as the crab deviled eggs.

We enjoyed our food and our server was quite personable. It's not cheap but the food and ambiance are good. It was quite noisy when we arrived but got better as tables started to leave. Business was brisk, it was not the crazy rush of Saturdays. Jar delivers on the concept. It is a steak house, the menu is a modern take on the traditional model, but the staples are there to be had. The wine list is to the point and not overly priced considering the fact that the emphasis is on "big" wines. We had the special salad of the night (Pear and Humboldt Fog)perfectly balanced vinaigrette, the knife cuts were somewhat inconsistent, but regardless, it was a great appetizer. I add the dry aged Kansas steak which was perfectly executed and so was the bistro steak. The sides were simple and again perfectly executed. Dessert, although unassuming, were a pleasant surprise.
