"Awesome. Loved it. I've lived on the West Coast of both Canada & the USA for a number of years now, so I'm no stranger to world-class sushi. THis place blew me away, though. They had rolls and other dishes that were very unique. The latino influence makes for a wonderful array of flavors not normally found in a sushi joint.

You'd be hard-pressed to go wrong with any of the rolls here. I'd also recommend the Tempura Brie appetizer, it rocked my world."

"We had a great time - service was great; they always kept our water filled. Prices can't be beat! All day Happy Hour on the weekends - such great prices for huge portions. I will be going back to try all their different sushi plates."

"I always have great service at Japonessa. Water is always filled, and waitstaff checks on you often even when they are super busy. Happy hour is my fave time to go there because I am able to sample more of the sushi rolls!"
