The Riverwalk level features a bustling lounge & bar adjacent to a plush Riverwalk Café. Our Lounge offers the restaurant’s full menu of critically acclaimed contemporary Japanese Cuisine & Sushi. Between 5PM-8PM Sunday-Wednesday, the Lounge also features our Tasting Menu. Exclusively featured in the Lounge our Tasting Menu highlights some of our more popular sushi dishes along with $7 small plates, paired with wine, sake or Absolut cocktails. "Very happy with our visit to Japonais. The food was delicious and sushi was amazing. The downstairs lounge area was really nice to go to after dinner. The view isn't much to write about from the outside seating area, but it had a nice feel/ambiance to it. We'll be back. PS- order the "Hot Rock" appetizer. You won't be disappointed!!!"

"The tuna carpaccio and the crab cakes were delicious. However, the spare ribs were so heavily covered in sauce that I had to scrape some off to eat them. The service was poor. We dined early as we had a child with us. We watched the servers gather near the kitchen door and socialize while we tried to get their attention (by waving our arms!!). I would not return due to the poor service and low value for what we paid. This restaurant thinks it is better than it is."

"I love this place! When it's warm, I love sitting outside by the river, but the ambiance in the bar as well as the restaurant are memorable. Great food and decor. I highly recommend Japonais."
