"The food was good, like the Hamachi miso nigiri, but so-so like the salmon skin sushi (cut the top of your mouth). Overall, the food was well done and unique. The best part was the surprise kama'aina discount we received."

"Romantic setting yet various areas of the restaurant can serve different type of guest; couple, families, large parties. Excellent service, prompt attention, friendly servers who made great suggestions. The butteryaki scallops and miso-glaze hamachi nigiri is a must have. Their Japengo fried chicken is also a great appetizer. The Honolulu and Blackened Ahi rolls were good.
Although the food could have been faster coming out, the servers were on top of refilling drinks and you felt as though they were happy that you were there. We felt as though we could stay there and enjoy each others company."

"We had the sushi dinner special from TravelZoo. We were a little worried that it wouldn't be enough food, but it turned out to be plenty. What's more, everything we ate was delicious and left us wanting more. Would definitely eat here again and look forward to trying their regular menu items as well."

"Narrow stalls, but free validated parking. Yay!
We are greeted as we are still walking to the check - in.
The design of the restaurant is sleek and contemporary.
As we walked in the hostess talked to us about the Saturday night event they have there, which I liked since most hosts quickly seat you and walk away.
The artwork and furniture is intriguing; and don't forget the water cups too.

Our waitress was one of the top servers I've had in my life time. She pointed out the popular dishes on the menu and checked on us regularly. Very kind, told us to take our time, and asked us important questions like "What order would you like our food to come out?".

We ordered the Tootsie first and I ate 5 of the 7 pieces. Its soft and crunc"

"Food was great - Japengo Fried Chicken and the scallops appetizer were great! Filet and prawns were tasty and the meat was tender. Salmon was tasty with a nice sauce. Coconut creme brûlée is their signature dessert and something you definitely want to try. The mochi ice cream sampler was great - hubby loved it. Hoping to go back for my birthday this summer! Service was a little slow than I would have liked.

It was a little dark - but impressed with what took Ciao Mein's place at the Hyatt!"

"I sure wish I could remember the name of our waiter. He was outstanding. He recommended a few things for us and we chose two of his recommendations. He was so pleasant and welcoming. The ambiance was modern but not institutionally cold type of feeling. Large
dining room; could accommodate a large party, private party or many people. Cocktails were made to perfection. All in all a wonderful experience, but not a good place for the budget cautious."
