"I was taking my husband out for a special birthday dinner. This was a definite find. We enjoyed a great wedge salad and onion soup as appetizers -- both were suberb. We then moved onto the Porterhouse Steak for 2. I couldn't have found a better tasting steak anywhere. We really enjoyed Jake's and look forward to visting again for our next 'special occasion' date."

"Some of the best steak we've ever had!! Seasoned perfectly, cooked exactly medium rare how we like it. The onion soup was delicious! Better than most onions soups at restaurants, so was the crab cake!! It was mostly crab and not filler! The mashed potatoes just melted in your mouth."

"Food was good, but a bit pricey; the wedge salad consisted of a quarter of a lettuce head with two slice of tomato, $9, a bit much. But the porterhouse for two fed three so $78 was certainly fair. Desserts were tasty and inventive. Service was good, but a little overbearing; they need to relax. If you don't mind spending a lot to eat in your neighborhood, the food is worthwhile."

"Although we thought the restaurant was very nice the food was not that great. For the amount of money that we spent we could have went to Ruth Chris steakhouse which I LOVE!! I have to say the service was great but not the food. I think next time I will try to outdoor bar and bar menu."

"Excellent meal..attentive service. The only hiccup, the porterhouse was ordered medium and it came out very rare.. Sent it back and it came back perfect. Great selection of beers. Looking forward to returning."
