"I love Jake's. The food is always wonderfully interesting, creative, and well plated. Every evening there is a good crowd of people there relaxing, talking, and enjoying the food. It is truly one of the legendary restaurants in Manayunk and the city."

"Overall a terrific experience from the bread to the profiteroles and everything in between. Waitstaff is superb. Just wish they had a special section for families. As long as parents insist on bringing babies to bars and restaurants (which is inconsiderate) the onus is on the proprietor to come up with creative solutions. Private family rooms might do the trick."

"We were seated in the Cooper's Bar side, which was really loud.
Ask for the Jake's side if you like to have a conversation during your
Meal. Besides that the food was really good!! Everyone at our table
Had a great meal all the way through. Our server Richard made it even
Better, he is a great !! Very knowledgable and pleasent."

"My fiancée and I went to Jake's for brunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. To start we had the baked Gouda and beet salad with feta. We shared the Virginia ham pizza…Wow. That could very well be the best pizza I have ever had. Loved it!! I would definitely go back to this place for brunch/evening dinner."

"No need to be long winded, the food was spectacular. Great service and they have a nice beer selection. Went for lunch. I had crab cakes, she had scallops. Both were amazing."
