Always order the prime rib. Always get the 15oz instead of 10oz (small price for extra 5 oz). Very well seasoned and veggies complimenting are always good. Had the poached sake salmon salad too, amazing salmon! Dressing on the salad was great too, but not your typical vinaigrette. More asian fusion style. Love the little home made chocolate mint things at the end. Bread is always hit and miss... sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't. But usually we don't get bread when our food comes out right away.

We loved the relaxed, quaint, clean atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was quick and attentive. We arrived to enjoy the 50% off appetizer special, Friday between 4 - 6 pm. We chose 4 appetizers, all very good -- we left nothing on our plates. We individually ordered drinks from the menu -- loved the Sangria! We also shared some entrees, my daughter raved about the French Onion Soup. We sat at a lovely table for 4 in the window. Great experience -- we will be back to try the Prime Rib!

I took my wife here for our wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience and I would go here again. Our server was friendly and food was wonderful. We do not drink, so I cannot speak to the wine list. We were also too full to try a desert. However, they had quite the variety of things for desert.

The both of us had the 10 oz prime rib steak on Sunday night and it was fabulous. It was a perfect medium rare steak with veggies that were still crunchy, a Yorshire pudding and an excellent sauce. Unfortunately we had no room for anything else so we skipped dessert. We will be back!

We were a party of 6, there to celebrate a birthday. We have been here in the past but not recently and were unaware of the changes it has undergone since our last visit. We were there on a Saturday evening and there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. The bartender tried to help but they just could not handle the needs of the clients. Our meals were not cooked to our specifications and the entree side dishes were very small. The appetizers and desserts were very good however. Overall I would have to say we were disappointed as it did not meet the level of excellence we have enjoyed in the past.

Have dined here before but on a Saturday night to have only 1 waitress, not acceptable. Prime Rib was WELL done not medium-rare for 3 people at our table - too expensive for this error!o Dress and personal maintenance of waitress and bartender left a lot to be desired.

The service is really what stands out here as the food isn't anything fantastic. I had the Salmon which came very over cooked. The portions are small for the price and the selection is very old school. Limited wine menu as well. Lovely atmosphere though!

The significant other and I went here for an anniversary dinner. Waitress was incredible: knowledgable, friendly, non intrusive. We were there on a Wednesday night with thier 1/2 priced feature wine list. The selections were limited to 1 white 1 red but the white was absolutely Devine. The food, from the garlic shrimp and the tapas plate (appies) were delicious. Main courses (tenderloin with peppercorn sauce and Cajun seafood pasta) were cooked wonderfully -though my steak was a bit over cooked. Chose the medium rare! All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and have suggested it to several friends in just the last two days. Wish we had had room for dessert!!'

This restaurant was recommended to me by a peer at work. I took my wife there for dinner for our 21st wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding and the service was great. Just a word of caution if you are dining upstairs during the summer months, it can be very warm. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and I would definitely visit Jacqueline Suzanne's Bistro/The Carmichael Dining Lounge again in the near future. The cajun prime rib was excellent.

We have eaten at this restaurant five times over the past year, we have found that the food and service is always great...that is until this last visit. We ate here on a Tuesday night and there were approximately four other tables dining. I felt bad for our server..she was alone; taking orders, preparing drinks, ordering food, water etc. We sat for over an hour and had only one drink and our appetizers. We ordered baked brie and had to send it back because it wasn't melted upon return it still really wasn't prepared appropriately but we were so hungry we ate it anyway. Normally I would recommend this restaurant but I am not sure that we will return any time soon. The bill was over $200 for three and for that we expected a great meal.

We enjoyed a window seat for lunch (I did exchange my chair for one that was a bit more sturdy). The service was friendly, prompt and professional. Our salads, a Suzanne's Salad and a Mixed Seafood Salad, were mountains of mixed greens on dinner plates. Suzanne's Salad contained bacon, blue cheese, pecans, and raisins, in a berry vinaigrette. The seafood salad was mixed greens with warm salmon, scallops and prawns in a garlic cream sauce - very tasty. The creamy house dressing was not evident. We ate every bite but would have enjoyed our salads more with a few less greens, more dressing, and the addition of a "bread" of some kind (breadsticks, flatbread, scone). Won't order salad again due to lack of pleasure and value. Will return.

My friend and I have had brunch here on a few occasions and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, service and food. This time, however, was quite different! I arrived first and was told my "lady" was upstairs. (I have an eyesight issue when going from the light into the dark. I can't see until my eyes adjust.) I "felt" my way upstairs only to discover she wasn't there, so I had to feel my way down the dimly-lit stairs. I was shown a table (for two) in front of the bar and said it would be fine, mainly because it had more light. After receiving fairly surly responses to a couple of questions we both ordered the Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise Sauce seemed synthetic, the food was luke-warm & it was hard to cut the muffin.

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and enjoyed the ambience, service, quality and presentation at Carmichael'S. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in the door. Our waitress asked about our anniversary and made us feel welcome and special and certainly the quality of the food we enjoyed added to that feeling. My Cajun Basa and Shrimp was perfect! We finished our meals off with a pleasant wildberry-ice cream crumble. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This charming restaurant was just the perfect place for 2 women who were celebrating one of their birthdays and a long-time friendship. We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff who were patiently attentive as we talked away the hours. The food was tasty -- the only negative being it's temperature was lukewarm for both our meals. While the staff were kind enough to reheat (and replate!) the meal, it still came back just warm. Our waitress made thoughtful suggestions on what we might enjoy for our main course and provided history on the bottle of red wine we ordered. All in all, Jacqueline Suzanne's Bistro provided us a memorable evening and we would return. Only wished the shops of Inglewood were open late Thursday night!

I've been to J.S.'s a few times for brunch and it is a fantastic place. So naturally I thought it would be a great choice for mother's day. Unfortunately they had a set menu which was a 3-course deal which included dessert, cut out some of the normal items and skimped on the normal portions. The server we had that day wasn't very friendly or helpful and was anxious for us to leave right away after we ate which was unfortunate on Mother's Day when we wanted to spend a little extra time [reasonable] with our mother and our coffees (and no line up at the door). Not nearly as good as usual. We'll go back again because of their amazing Benedicts, but not on a special occasion with a prix-fixe menu.

Was excited to try this restaurant for Mother's Day brunch, as there were many amazing reviews, but sadly we didn't feel the same. Our reservation was at 11:30, and we had to wait until 11:45ish to get seated upstairs which was extremely warm (there was a fan going, but it made no difference). I almost felt like I had to faint it was so hot. I also brought my 11-month old, not knowing that this restaurant isn't really a kid-friendly place, but it was fine (she just say on my lap during the meal). At the end she was getting fussy, so my husband took her outside and our waitress said, "thank you for taking her outside. Us restaurant workers appreciate when people leave when their babies are crying." That remark offended me a bit.
