My wife and I had a great time at Jacqueline Suzanne's Bistro on Saturday night. I had the salmon and my wife had the other fish (basa maybe?) and both meals were fantastic. House wine was so so but just fine with a meal. The atmosphere was really nice. Ask for the tables in the front window, fun place to sit.

And we found it amazing food and perfect ambiance quiet layed back atmosphere. Service was attentive but never seamed to be rushing or interrupting. From pre-dinner drinks through amazing appetizers (which we all sampled each other's )and then perfectly prepared prime rib mains nothing but perfect. Great spot we will be returning

Let me preface this review by saying that i grew up in the restaurant business and that tends to make me somewhat over critical. This was our first experience at Jacqueline Suzanne's and I give it a very good rating overall. My only complaints, and minor they are, would be that our food order seemed to take longer than those around us. People who ordered after us were served before us and there was no explanation offered. Lastly I had to wait a extra long time to get a refill of my coffee while the servers stood near by have a conversation about clothes and shopping, this after being asked if I wanted a refill. My wife is opening a store in the area and the first time experience at the bistro was good. We will be back probably more than once.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant with another couple on Saturday, Nov.15, 2014. The ambience is always very nice at Jacqueline Suzanne's and the meals prepared for us were excellent. The servers who served us were all very nice but there was a little confusion at times throughout the evening. For instance, at one point a meal was served at our table that belonged to another table. Overall our experience was good and we would certainly go back to this restaurant again.

The service was poor. We didn't even get ice water until 15 minutes after being seated. The waitress did not know the menu and kept running to the kitchen with our questions. The food was second rate, bland and served cold. We will not return to this restaurant.

If you are looking for an amazing dining experience with your significant other, then you need to go to The Carmichael Dining Lounge. What a wonderful location, superb wine list and amazing flavorful food! Upstairs is quaint, quiet and the perfect place to spend some time enjoying the company of someone special. In order to provide you with time to purview the menu and wine selection they leave you a little bell to ring for service, quite a novel idea.

I've been to Jacqueline Suzanne's before for dinner, but never brunch. I love Inglewood, but sometimes I feel like dining options are limited, and I, not one to wait in line in the cold for brunch. I reserved on Opentable just in case, but it wasn't needed for 10AM on a Saturday. Both my husband and I opted for the set menu, which was $25 for 3 sections of brunch. Of course we opted for the brunch alcohol(me, the breakfast martini, him the Bloody Caesar) and then smoked salmon Benedict, and a classic Benedict for him, and finally finishing with a dessert of Creme brûlée and strawberry rhubarb crumble. We rolled out of there very satisfied!!

This is a neat little place tucked into the middle of one of the old buildings in Inglewood. The food is great and our server cheerful and efficient. The eggs benedict had some of the best hollandaise sauce I've had in a long time and the hash browns are the best I've tasted, crisp on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. I had Grand Marnier Crème brûlée. The sugar was perfectly caramelized and it didn't feel like I was having to take a pick axe to it. Each mouthful was creamy goodness.

This was a last minute decision to go here, as we were unable to reserve a decent time at our other favorite spots. The occasion was a 89th birthday and the birthday boy, who thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and whole experience. The prime rib was unbelievable! It was truly a warm, intimate location to take our guests to. Lucky us!

Everything about this place was excellent. Very rarely do I find a restaurant in Calgary that is able to do everyhting right. Always order the prime rib. Always get the 15oz instead of 10oz (small price for extra 5 oz). Very well seasoned and veggies complimenting are always good. Had the poached sake salmon salad too, amazing salmon! Dressing on the salad was great too, but not your typical vinaigrette. More asian fusion style. Love the little home made chocolate mint things at the end. Bread is always hit and miss... sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't. But usually we don't get bread when our food comes out right away.

We loved the relaxed, quaint, clean atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was quick and attentive. We arrived to enjoy the 50% off appetizer special, Friday between 4 - 6 pm. We chose 4 appetizers, all very good -- we left nothing on our plates. We individually ordered drinks from the menu -- loved the Sangria! We also shared some entrees, my daughter raved about the French Onion Soup. We sat at a lovely table for 4 in the window. Great experience -- we will be back to try the Prime Rib!

The both of us had the 10 oz prime rib steak on Sunday night and it was fabulous. It was a perfect medium rare steak with veggies that were still crunchy, a Yorshire pudding and an excellent sauce. Unfortunately we had no room for anything else so we skipped dessert. We will be back!

We were a party of 6, there to celebrate a birthday. We have been here in the past but not recently and were unaware of the changes it has undergone since our last visit. We were there on a Saturday evening and there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. The bartender tried to help but they just could not handle the needs of the clients. Our meals were not cooked to our specifications and the entree side dishes were very small. The appetizers and desserts were very good however. Overall I would have to say we were disappointed as it did not meet the level of excellence we have enjoyed in the past.

The significant other and I went here for an anniversary dinner. Waitress was incredible: knowledgable, friendly, non intrusive. We were there on a Wednesday night with thier 1/2 priced feature wine list. The selections were limited to 1 white 1 red but the white was absolutely Devine. The food, from the garlic shrimp and the tapas plate (appies) were delicious. Main courses (tenderloin with peppercorn sauce and Cajun seafood pasta) were cooked wonderfully -though my steak was a bit over cooked. Chose the medium rare! All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and have suggested it to several friends in just the last two days. Wish we had had room for dessert!!'

This restaurant was recommended to me by a peer at work. I took my wife there for dinner for our 21st wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding and the service was great. Just a word of caution if you are dining upstairs during the summer months, it can be very warm. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and I would definitely visit Jacqueline Suzanne's Bistro/The Carmichael Dining Lounge again in the near future. The cajun prime rib was excellent.

We have eaten at this restaurant five times over the past year, we have found that the food and service is always great...that is until this last visit. We ate here on a Tuesday night and there were approximately four other tables dining. I felt bad for our server..she was alone; taking orders, preparing drinks, ordering food, water etc. We sat for over an hour and had only one drink and our appetizers. We ordered baked brie and had to send it back because it wasn't melted upon return it still really wasn't prepared appropriately but we were so hungry we ate it anyway. Normally I would recommend this restaurant but I am not sure that we will return any time soon. The bill was over $200 for three and for that we expected a great meal.
