The wine selection and pricing is good. Highly recommend this restaurant. It is a little off the beaten path next to PF Chang's ArchLight Theater. It is a perfect place to go for a drink appetizers or dinner before a movie. It is great for date night, small group, business dinner or special occasion in a casual atmosphere. If you are visiting from out of town as a tourist or on business and staying near LAX or in the Beach cities this restaurant is well worth trying. We are repeat customers and love the menu selection! The staff was more than delightful and very knowledgeable about the menu. I didn't even have to ask for second glass of champagne. We started with the oysters and hummus. The chef knows how oysters should be served, paired beautifully with a shallot mignonette, divine. The hummus was fresh, creamy and super garlicky. Some of the best hummus we've ever had. I ordered the watermelon and feta salad with arugula, the complexity of flavors made this salad disappear rather quickly. For the main courses we ordered the filet mignon risotto and seared pork belly with polenta. Wow, the cherry reduction sauce was spectacular. Loved the watermelon and feta salad - very refreshing . The waiter was attentive to our needs , polite and very professional. The manager, Ryan, came to our table to say hello and remind me that she used to work for me when she was just out of high school. it was a delight to see her after all these years and shes still personable and very professionable - jacjsons is very fortunate to have her manage their team!! I will definitely go back to Jackson's .

The portions are generous and you can tell they take great pride in fresh ingredients and providing a diverse menu.
Definitely a better alternative before the movies than its neighbor, PF Changs.
