The food was amazing-brussel
sprouts and miso cod were so tasty. Hubby had the rib eye, which was pretty huge. Table service was a tad slow, considering the restaurant was only half full, but the wait staff was very friendly and tended to be chatty with the guests, which was pleasant. Hostess was very sweet, and seated us immediately for our reservation even though we were a little early, while she was also moving tables and distributing menus. Parking in valet is convenient and only five dollars with dinner which lets you also shop or go to the movies."

service was just ok. Food was
average. I think overpriced for what you get. I know several other places in the south bay to go for much better food and service at the same or better prices. however, this is very convenient if you're going to Arclight to see a movie and have about an hour to eat."

The food was pretty good here but
the service is very slow and lack a great deal. The server we had seemed like he was not pleased doing his job. I always try to be friendly and polite with my severs but that doesn't always seem to help and it's starting to be more of an issue. I spoke to other friends who went here and they felt the same way."

we are at the Marriott quite often
for business and always do the staples like M&S or Fleming's. the 1000 point table got us in the door and it was quite enjoyable. good menu, great staff. Small issue with an under-cooked steak, but they remedied it. My only bad review would be of the chocolate mousse dessert. We all agreed it was the worst we have ever had so I would avoid it. Other than that, we will be back."

Everything else I tasted was good,
too. Caesar salad, fries. Those dining with me raved about the macaroni and cheese with bacon. Someone had the Cuban chicken and was very satisfied. Overall, the food was really good."

Came to celebrate 3 birthdays..
The waiter (red hair) was very helpful and appeared to be knowledgeable about the menu. The food was hot went received. The drinks were flowing and if it was to take longer , the waiter explained the wait. The french fries and the pizza was very good. Even though I requested well done, my meat was close enough."

I have severe food allergies
(admitted to the hospital 2 weeks ago from swelling in my throat) and explained this to the waiter. Jackson's was VERY accommodating to my needs and very understanding of my situation. I had a great meal that they made specifically to order, meeting my requests and needs. I was very impressed!"

This is a lovely little restaurant
next door to PF Changs and directly opposite the Arclight theatre in El Segundo. While it's not a fancy place décor-wise, the food is very good and there's a nice assortment. I had the pork belly polenta which was excellent and the rib eye steak which was perfectly cooked. The sauces they serve with the fries are also a nice accompaniment. My son had the pepperoni flatbread pizza, which he raved about. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

Jackson's is a small restaurant
with pleasing decor. It offers quick, quiet, and relatively upscale food in a convenient location. Parking is easy. It is especially fitting for dinner if you're going to a movie at ArcLight, don't want o madly rush, and will take a little time (45m+) to enjoy a nice meal."
Dined on 6/14/2014
Tried one taco and because it was
so GOOD, I made them my main meal and just had a salad to go along. The beat and goat cheese salad was done well. Very tasty! "

Went for an early dinner on a
Monday and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was Happy Hour all night. The chili was EXCELLENT (I wouldn't typically order it but my date wanted it). The waiter had the best suggestions and was very attentive and the kitchen was quick, too."

Celebrated a birthday at
Jackson's. First time dining there. Dinner was very good and so was the service. Honey-Pomegranate Salmon with Raisin-Almond Couscous was delicious as well as braised short ribs and bread pudding dessert was awesome. Looking forward to going back."

We were excited to try Jackson's
but the food was just not up to the price. My steak was over cooked and very tough. The side dishes were just okay."

The filet mignon risotto with
truffle oil is to die for. Shared it with a friend and we fought over the last bite. Dreaming of it since Friday. Spinach flatbread was also delicious. Cocktails were perfection in liquid form."

Fourth time at Jackson's. Have
never had a disappointing meal. Also love that they have a "quick menu" at the bar for patrons who are on their way to the ArcLight Theater."

Monday Night happy hour was
Fabulous. The drink specials are a great deal. The regular menu looked great, I'll be back for dinner very soon."

Loved Jackson's when it was in
Hermosa. So happy to find them in a new location in MB. The food will not disappoint...it's an amazing blend of flavors and prepared to perfection. Jidori Chicken, Black Cod and Lamb Sausage Flatbread made for an unforgettable dining experience. The dining room area is intimate and quiet."

Our second time here and the food
was again excellent! Every dish we tried had great and unique flavors. The proprietor, Scott Cooper, even came out to deliver some of the dishes and to see how we were enjoying the experience. Short ribs, miso cod, burrata salad, brussel sprouts, ahi salad were all delish! Looking forward to trying more new dishes the next time we're here!"
Dined on 5/3/2014
A theater complex is conveniently
next door; this is a nice place to dine prior or after a movie."
Dined on 5/3/2014
I was gravely disappointed about
the sub standard quality of service and the SHOCKING quality of food. My pasta was poorly prepared and all stuck together and tasted rather bland. My wife's well done steak was as red as a rare piece of meat through more than 50% of it. The server acted lie he was doing us a favor."
Dined on 5/2/2014
My boyfriend and I have come here
a couple times for happy hour before catching a movie, and we love it! They have plenty of food and drink options. Food tastes great and prices are reasonable. Definitely coming back, again."
Dined on 5/2/2014
We have eaten at this restaurant
and last time it was a better experience. the open windows on the patio let in flies which was very offputting. I ordered the miso cod which was very tasty but appearance was not- 4 small pieces of fish rather than 1 fillet so looked like i got served pieces trimmed from other fish."
Dined on 4/30/2014
service very solid, food truly was
great and thought the pricing was more than fair. Crab cake maybe best ever had, mushroom risotto was stellar, maybe not the best presentation ever, but would rather have it taste awesome than look awesome"
Dined on 4/28/2014
Their signature dish filet mignon
with risotto; meat was dry. The miso cod was good and heavy on the sauce. However, the presentation was horrible & looked like it was served on a cafeteria plate. Same for the Ahi tuna, good but presentation did not meet the prices charged at this place."
Dined on 4/22/2014
The food was simply outstanding!
Don't believe it can be beat!"

I organized a business lunch here.
The staff was friendly and solicitous, not underfoot. I made a reservation to avoid the lunch rush on a Monday, but it wasn't necessary at all - it wasn't very busy. I had the sashimi tuna salad and it was quite tasty and plenty for lunch. There weren't too many people there, so the noise level was great for conversation. "

The service is wonderful and the
food and drink delightful. The outdoor patio with fireplace is charming. Really a great place for a meal on a summer night or a cold winter night or afternoon."
Dined on 4/5/2014
convenient free parking for the
Arclight Cinema and for dining before or after the movie without moving your car"
Dined on 4/5/2014
Overall my first experience was a
good one at Jackson's. I thought the best part was the food. The ambiance was comforatable, almost like a ski chalet. Our food server was well-trained and gave us all the input we asked and time to decide. Thanks!"

Met some girlfriends at Jackson's
for happy hour. Very fun, great shareable food and good prices"
Dined on 4/4/2014
Three friends went to Jackson's to
celebrate a friend's birthday. The service was excellent. I had a steak and it was excellent, very tender and juicy. The upside down berry pie is excellent. My only negative is the noise level of the restaurant. Background noises makes it difficult for me to hear and this restaurant has too much background noise in my opinion."
Dined on 3/27/2014
This was the first time I dined at
Jackson's. There were three distinct seating options: outside on the covered patio, inside by the bar and in the more formal side room. We picked the last choice as it was quieter and were happy. We had decided to chose this restaurant as the food was interesting and were pleased with everything we tried. The beet and goat salad was well dressed with balanced flavors, and was a large portion. The heirloom tomato and berretta salad was excellent with the treatment of the cheese making this a special dish. The lamb sausage flat bread was nicely cooked and very large (two people could have had just that for lunch). The flank steak risotto and pork belly dishes were also nice, and were smaller plates."
Dined on 3/27/2014
For the first time, the patio area
was very noisy which made the dining experience less enjoyable than our usual visits to Jackson's."
Dined on 3/26/2014
The menu seemed fit for foodies
but the food was not well executed. I ordered the smaller miso cod which came on a kid's plate but was still $16. It came with two kid-sized pieces of fish--they were however generous with the white rice and cucumber salad. My date ordered the braised short-ribs which were not what he expected. The bones were not attached and the meat did not have that signature silky/braised texture. It was dry rounds of meat surrounded by a lot of root veggies. We also ordered the roasted cauliflower which came in a pool of it's own water and had lost the roasted texture. The actual sauce was completely drowned out and bland and the pine nuts were left behind in the sauce so we asked for bread but it just seemed botched."

Super menu. Perfect date night
spot or a place to go when you want a really good meal"

Went with a group of girls for
book club. They have a good happy hour menu. We all enjoyed our entrees, the short ribs were fantastic!"

You may not notice this place
tucked in between the Golf shop and movie theater, but you won't be disappointed. Many good food choices, most very unique and flavorful. Service is good, too."

After a day at the Getty on the
hill and having to deal with the 405 construction traffic, we wanted to be out of LA for dinner but closer to our home in Orange County. El Segundo area was a good landing spot for a nice dinner. Jackson's lived up to their stars others have given. We all thought the food was excellent. The Beet salad which was praised as"the best one she ever had" another had the roasted chicken which looked as beautiful as it tasted I heard, the roasted vegetables were delicious but he did mention too many tomatoes - but then again he is not a big fan of those anyhow. I really liked the Tagliatelle pasta with ricotta, peas and pancetta with fried egg which was even more interesting than the Carbonara I make at home."

Chose Jackson's for Valentines
Day. We were seated in the bar area which turned out to be a great place to sit. The service was friendly and fast. They have a very good wine list. We started with the Filet Mignon and Risotto appetizer which was excellent. Because the tables are close we got to see what the people around us ordered which in turn sparked nice conversations. I ordered the braised beef ribs with parsnip mashed potatoes and root vegetables and my wife ordered the glazed salmon over couscous. The chef came out to let me know that they had run out of the root vegetables and offered me the opportunity to substitute whatever I wanted. I chose the roasted corn off the cob which was excellent. We will return to try other dishes."

Booked this place as my backup
plan for dinner for valentines day. Did not even realize how close it was to my house! Super cool place that was very busy, although that may be attributed to valentines day. We were seated right away thanks to that reservation and had a wonderful waitress. Kristen was very attentive all night even when I couldn't decide what to order! The food took a bit to come out..again they were very busy but Kristen kept checking in and kept us posted. That was nice. Food came out and was very good. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread pizza and my boyfriend ordered the burger. They were both very good. Loved the dipping sauces for his fries!"
