The food was delicious, the wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, and for the quality of food and service we had, the price was very reasonable. The menu is very well designed. There are a reduced number of choices, but you will find different meat cuts and seafood as well. For dessert, I recommend the "limoncello tiramisu". They also gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. Nice sized portions in that it is more like what a normal serving should be rather than the super-sized portions many other places serve to appear to appeal to the financial investment of the meal. This is not to say that that the prices were anything like a "good" value, it is an expensive dinner out but you are paying for the fine dining experience as well as the food itself.

I made the reservation online and was very pleased to see that everything worked out smoothly. We made a reservation for 8pm and did not sit down until 9pm so be prepared to wait even with a reservation on a busy night. Once we sat down the service was wonderful. The waiter(s) were very attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely wonderful. We expected a pricey dinner and anyone wanting to eat there could expect to spend between $30-$60 per person. For a special occasion I think this place is a great time. It has a classic feel and it can definitely accommodate a large number of people. I was disappointed in the table we were given. I know it was Mother's Day, but there were many more tables available at the time we were seated. Come on, it's the place to take out of towners if they want a real taste of the Empire State Capital. It's the place to take yourself when you want a real first class treat.

This recent visit introduced us to a new server, Ryan, who was spot on. Our drink orders were taken right away as we'll as starters. The shrimp cocktail was better than most - fresh and perfectly cooked and chilled. The sauce comes with an extra spoonful of horseradish for those who like a lot (we do!). The salads which come with the meal were delicious, very fresh and the dressing light and tangy. Ryan took care of drinks again and brought wine along with the entrees as requested. Our waiter (forgot his name, John? Australian) was super awesome! Very attentive and got us everything we ordered. When we asked if they did Chocolate Cake Shooters so we could do a birthday toast, he said he wasn't sure but took my son's iphone with the recipe to the bar and voila! We got our chocolate cake shots in fancy little glasses!
