  • "This particular steakhouse, is great for the area in Indiana. There are FAR better steakhouses about 18 miles north in the heart of the City of Chicago's beautiful down town area. I would try there before making the drive here. Really in all honesty I was shocked at the quality of food here. The food was good, but not great. The service is ok because the waitress we had was new apparently and was not used to the menu, because our order of 4 people with almost the exact order was to hard for her to get correct. The view of the lake surrounding the pier however is breathtaking. Perfect place for a business meeting or to impress a romantic date. The noise level of the restaurant was at a minimum. My family enjoyed themselves. 3 stars."

  • "This place has floor to ceiling windows surrounding the dining area that overlook Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. I make sure to take business guests there whenever possible. Too bad they are not open for lunch! They are pricey, so unless company is paying or special occasion, it's best to avoid. They do steaks very well, but don't get fooled by the Wagyu - it can be tough compared to regular beef. In the summer/fall, they have chanterelle mushrooms!"

  • "I went out with another couple on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately(we had reservations) it took twice the time to get a waitress, but it was busy. Eventually, it became an issue. Ordered a salad with our dinner order....again waited way toooo long and dinner was served and no salad!! She asked if we wanted a steak sauce and we asked for A1...never delivered to the table. If the food wasn't so good and I didn't have a comp, I wouldn't go back.....It's a night out and my guest were feeling the delays were too many and too often!!"

  • "Hard to even start. We had reservations for 6:30 ahead of an 8:00 show. Know that time would be tight we ordered dinner right away at about 6:35. At 7:15 our waiter said dinner would be out soon. At 7:30 I asked for him to check on our dinner which he came back and said in three more minutes. At 7:35 we received our meals which in most part were cold. My wife's meal was incorrect, also no truffle on the greasy Truffle fries. My side did not come. There was no time for anything to be corrected because we had to rush through what we did have to make it to the show on time. This dinner was an embarrassment."

We were seated by the window which had a beautful view of the lake and the city skyline .The food was delicious and food portions were large enough to share. Our server Diane was attentive and pleasant she made our experience very memorable ."

  • "When seated our menu books did not have any menu in them. The escargot appetizer was the worst I ever had. Presentation: a few escargot in a small soup bowl without any sauce. Tried one and gave it back. Excessive waiting time for the appetizer. Our main course steaks, a filet and rib eye were ordered medium rare and were delivered rare. The filet was much better than the rib eye. The rib eye was very fatty and not cooked properly. If this was not a free meal, I would have been very un-happy, however, I will not eat there again. I do not mind paying $$$$ for a steak dinner but not there. I have had steak dinners at other Binions ( Tunica....where it was outstanding) but disappointed here."

  • "The food was perfectly prepared and the presentation was wonderful. My husband had the large cut prime rib which had just a small round of fat for flavor and was so tender. This was the first time to try tuna tartare and really enjoyed it with the cucumber on top. I had the spinach salad which was so plentiful it could have easily been shared. The vinegrate dressing was so flavorful. I also had the 8 oz filet with the horseradish sauce. They not only gave me the sauce but also a side cup of fresh horseradish which I thoroughly enjoyed. Room for dessert no, unfortunately. We both also had the very large baked potatoes. Portion sizes are not small and you definetly get your money's worth of food. If in the area would go back."

  • "This is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at, and that's saying a lot cause I've been to some of the best in Las Vegas, the food was fantastic, the service top notch. I had a filet with a side of hash browns, my wife had the scallops with a side of wilted baby spinach, the sides were big enough to share. For dessert I had sinful chocolate cake my wife had the tiramisu both were wonderful the cake was one of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant, what a great find in the horseshoe casino Hammond Indiana."

  • "First we were a little early. They made us wait for a table when they were Clearly not busy. Second, both our $50 steaks were cooked to the wrong temperatures, my date sent hers back twice , then it was overcooked again. Our sides were cold when the food was replaced. Lighting was too bright for dinner, couldn't see outside because of the glare reflectionon the glass. We asked about the lighting and were told they could not turn them down because the other side will be too dark. Ever hear of two switches ? We weren't even offered a drink or desert for the inconvenience. I had an awesome experience there with a group of 20. Every detail was perfect. You would think two would be easier. Very disapointed....especially for an expensive meal."

I opted for the New Orleans BBQ shrimp appetizer, diver scallops as entree and side of brussel sprouts with pancetta, walnuts & goat cheese. Everything was a taste treat, but the appetizer in particular was stellar. Topped off with a cup of Binionaire coffee, my belated valentine's day treat was perfection. My husband had the pork tenderloin with a twice baked potato which was a special that day. He did say the potato lacked flavor considering it was a special, but he seemed pleased with his entree choice. (He's one of those annoying types that is glued to his IPhone so doesn't really say much during dinner!)"

  • "Enjoyed the food and the service, starting with their special raisin walnut bread in the bread selection out of this world. I loved the calamari seasoned to perfection, I would not order the walleye fish selection ever. But the steaks and pork tenderloin superb. Dessert was an unusual apple wrapped in pastry cored apple stuffed with delicious caramel chocolate and pastry was yummy. Overall great experience. I would not trust a reservation made for special occasion (ie. Valentine day) We were seated 45 minutes after the reservation time that was bad."

  • "I have made multiple visits to the steakhouse, but was a little disappointed in this visit. We went on a Friday when there was a show in the casino, and even though we had a reservation we were seated 15 minutes late. Our waiter was not very attentive and service was slow. The steak was good, but I have had better. The sides were great - sautéed mushrooms and mashed potato with caramelized onion went well with out meal. Dessert was only OK. Overall it was OK but I would have been really disappointed if this were a special occasion."

  • "A week earlier I gave this top notch ratings. Unfortunately this visit was not so good. It started out perfect, a couple of apps that were outstanding, then things seemed to slip away. Our drinks were empty and server did not ask if we wanted more or even check in on us. There were 4 of us, we all ordered steaks, 2 were cooked correctly, 2 were cooked medium well which should have been medium rare. Again, the server did not stop by to check and see if things were done properly. When she finally came, my husband told and showed her his overdone steak, as well as one of the other guests we had brought to dinner. She followed up with "Do you want to order dessert" and were still charged for the two terrible steaks."
