  • "Binion's had been recommended to me by a friend and my wife and I were not disappointed! The food was excellent and the service superb. The only downside was our seating was a little out in the open and my chair stuck partially out into the aisle where I felt a little exposed. Not enough that I would ask to be moved somewhere else but next time I would request a booth. Definitely will be making a return trip!"

  • "We eat at Binions 3 -4 times a year and have never been disappointed until tonight. While this time was not unacceptable, it did not live up to the high level of quality service we normally experience. The food was pretty good, but the steaks were not cooked to desired temp. The waiter was not good at all this night. We'll try again though because Binions is normally outstanding."

  • "We eat here at least once a month. Out of the past 10 visits, we've had 1 great experience...doesn't say much, does it? At least 4 of those services were the same waiter. IF we dine again, we plan to ask for another waiter. My husband ordered the Pork Chops and a Tomato/Mozzarella Salad and I had The Classic Wedge and Legendary Hashbrowns-I know, odd combo,but I wasn't too hungry and only wanted a taste of the Hashbrowns. Found it odd our waiter didn't even bring a plate out for me to eat the Hashbrowns (I used the very small bread plate to eat a serving!). It must be hard for the wait staff to realize it's the little things that make a difference!"

  • "Went on a Sunday evening. Mderately busy. Waiter was terrific in many ways but had to apologize for leaving us several times because of demands from other tables. We both had prime rib. Terrific. My Jack's portion was huge. It will provide 2-3 more meals from the portion I couldn't finish. Hashbrowns also supersized - looked like a small deepdish pizza. Waiter warned that they are meant to be a family style serving. Tasted great and will provide 3-4 additional servings at home. Mac and cheese which was delicious. Tangy and creamy. We had 2 desserts. Chocolate decadance lived up to its name. Creme brulee tasty but served a bit colder than preferred."

  • "My husband ordered their rib eye steak, salad and hashbrowns. The BLT iceburg lettuce salad was medium sized and filled wonderful. My husband encouraged me to try his salad, particularily the bacon in it which was delish! His steak was prepared to perfection and his hashbrowns could have fed easily a family of 4. They topped his hashbrowns with shredded cheese at his request. I enjoyed their "house special pasta" of the evening. The wide noodle (similar to fettuccine) was topped with a generous portion of lump crab meat. I believe the noodle was called Pappardelle. Served with a white sauce that was not over powering but simply complimented the dish. Generous portion and went well with the 14 Hands Cabernet wine that I enjoyed."

  • "I was worried about going to a steak house that is housed inside a casino but my fears were unwarranted. The steak was outstanding, it was a filet and it melted in my mouth just the way I anticipated it should. The Jack Binion Legendary Hashbrowns were enough for four people! Loved them. I also had a salad wedge, very refreshing."

  • "I've been to Jack's a number of times, but finally had the chance to take my parents as they were visiting for the holidays. They balked a bit at the prices when they looked at the menu as they are used to eating at Texas Roadhouse or Outback. But, after being in initially greeted by our waiter (Mike is awesome!), then getting the appetizers and salads, they realized they were in a place quite unlike they have dined in before. My father had the king prime rib and raved about it. My mother had the Gold Coast salad and was in heaven. The Mrs had the rack of lamb (her go to dish there). At Mike's recommendation, I strayed from my usual filet and got the dry aged bone in NY. Hands down the best steak I've ever eaten."

Some may expect servers to have a bit of an attitude having to work on such an important occasion, but this was definately not the case. Our server was friendly and patient with our lack of knowledge of the menu. He made wonderful suggestions to enhance our experience."

  • "We took 2 other couples here recently and were so disappointed! We had built it up and their expectations were high (one of the couples had heard about the restaurant from someone at their work and was excited about trying it). Sadly, the expectations were set too high...We had to wait until 8:30 for a reservation because it was the weekend after Thanksgiving, but when we arrived, the restaurant was half empty. We were seated promptly but had to wait quite some time for someone to come to our table. We placed our orders, eventually and sat some more...the bread finally came and it was inedible...this wasn't usual for Binion's. Our orders came-disappointment continued. Steaks overdone, baked potato reheated, etc. So disappointed!"

  • "We've been coming here for quite some time and the last few times, we've been disappointed and tonight was no different. The service was slow, the food, not so great...and we ordered steaks, which made it even more disappointing. While usually one has a coupon for "half" off, etc. this doesn't happen all the time. Even at half off, the meal was overpriced for the quality of the food. Would've been much better off going to the cafe at the Horseshoe...kind of a sad statement for a "quality steak house", right?!"

  • "The food at the restaurant was delivered slightly cool, but very tasty. The server was friendly, helpful, and eager to serve the table, but he did not check back after the food was delivered. The setting is excellent and a great place to relax after a hard day at the office or if you wish, a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Overall it was a good dining experience and I have already told some friends about the restaurant and where they can find it."

  • "We have eaten here about 5 times. Excellent food, service and surroundings. Dark enough for romantic dinner but just light enough for other dinner occasions. Great for romantic dinners, but also was able to bring elderly parents here for a night out which they thoroughly enjoyed. It is usually hard to please my parents at restaurants but they loved how tender the steaks were and the surroundings. Able to talk to each other without a lot of outside noise or distractions."

  • "Food was good and service was okay but not worth the crazy amount of money it cost. Not a good value. And it started with the bread that we were served: mediocre, white, tasteless, served COLD. The steaks were good - but the $60 Cowboy steak was probably 2X expensive as it should have been. We had au gratin potatoes: cheez-whiz with a handful of potatoes does NOT make au gratin potatoes! Service: on par with a mid-priced restaurant: at a high-end restaurant, we expect more impeccable service. After all, at 20% of the tab, we paid this person $40. We had some food wrapped up: it was in a Styrofoam box and a plastic bag: did we just eat at WalMart? We were very disappointed, won't return and will warn friends away."

  • "We have visited Jack Binion's on several occasions. I have liked everything we have tried. However, this time we ordered the mac and cheese and I really didn't like it. One of the cheeses used was very strong and the consistency of the dish seemed off. I like different types of mac n cheese, but this certainly wasn't one of them. However, the main courses we have tried are fabulous, so don't let this one comment steer you away. Take this as a suggestion for thinking about trying the mac n cheese. Perhaps ask what type of cheese is in it to make sure its something you would like. Jack Binion's is something we always look forward to and are never disappointed."

  • "I am a frequent traveler. Some restaurants are boggled by solo diners, pointing them to the bar or consigning them to tiny tables in out-of-the-way locations. I was given a lovely table with a view of the open kitchen. Service was as fine as I've experienced at any 5 star property. I ordered the smallest portion of prime rib -- it filled half the plate. It was an inch thick, prepared exactly as requested and so tender I could have used the butter knife to cut it. Many steak houses over salt their meats. I am happy to report Jack Binions' does not. I also ordered asparagus, Truffled Mac n Cheese, and Crème brûlée. I highly recommend all. Advice: ARRIVE HUNGRY! (Portions are huge)"

  • "We have expected so much from Jack Binion's Steakhouse and this time they delivered. We started with Shrimp cocktail. The shrimp was a little mealy (probably not their fault) It was fun that it was delivered with dry ice and had that smoking effect. Then was the Seafood bisque, a little spicy but went great with the crackers & cheese we ordered ( I remember they used to serve this to all tables now it's an(unpublished) appetizer ) & (deconstructed) Steakhouse salad, good choice. From there we decided on the special of the night. A 12 -16 ounce Rib Eye steak, which had the perfect sear & succulent flavor and a delicious wine sauce. It was accompanied with some zucchini puffs w a citrus aioli that was a good. Jeff was a great waiter."
